Unreal Engine - Don't Disturb Your Stepmom [v0.079] [Lemonhaze Studio]

This game currently is pretty much a 3 star game in quality.
However, that may increase in the future.
It's also still in development, and allthough this game did seem like a cashgrab at first, but the devs did prove that they are interested in fleshing this out more.
The game also has the ocasional glitch or bug, but it's easily avoidable from my experience. The sex also happens often, is arguably not that bad and there's not even that many side quests you have to do to get to it.

Now for the negative.
I get that the devs might be new or inexperienced. But this game uses an abundance of AI and it's not even hidden well. The voicelines sound lifeless, because they're AI. The logo looks cartoonishly embarassing, because it's AI. The dialogue is laughable, because it's written by AI.
Not only is the dialogue also just made by AI, but also not skippable, and I know AI as something that likes to talk a lot before getting to the point, which it definitely did in this game.

If those things are ironed out in the future, and a bit more content is added, this might be a high 4 start game or even 5 if they surprise me.

I dunno what changed since I last played it, but it just feels, buggier, more unpolished, it was okay before but now, not so much. Like when trying the game again, I tried doing a bit of the story, but holy crap why did it take so long to fill the cum meter.

I was getting so bored just inching that thing forever, pressing space and holding LMB on her head and everything. What's even worse, for some reason the step mom just happened to wander into her fucking room, not out of suspicion or anything because the bar was empty, she just HAPPENED to be wandering around opening doors for no apparent reason (Unless the bar was bugged or something and her suspicion filled up without showing it, which would also be a bug). I heard the clicks earlier, I thought she was just doing stuff downstairs, but no, she wandered into the daughters bathroom and into the bedroom RIGHT WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO CUM AFTER ALL THAT TIME and made me have to start over and I just noped out after that.

The endless night sandbox isn't even that much better, most of the poses are all bottom poses that feel like a lot of slight variations of some, I was REALLY hoping for at least a position of her riding you, which I know she can do since she does it on the "Tell me" day. Also for a endless night presumably sandbox, why is the step mom still downstairs and can still catch you?

And finally, the voices are just, ugh. Even worse, there's no skip function at at all, you have to wait for them to finish speaking before moving on, which makes getting to desired positions like her riding you even more painful considering you're forced to go through that cringey dialogue every fucking time, and only to be cut off short by her friend showing up so you can barely do riding with her before it's over, and since thrust is the same as advance dialogue, you're FORCED to continue the scene.

I really liked the game so far despite its drawbacks! The visuals need to be at least slightly improved for immersion and few features added like npcs' moving around the house etc. This game deserves support if you ask me. In its current condition the game is a bit buggy but this doesn't prevent you from enjoying it.
AI Voice is actually not that bad, I would much prefer to have it in game, instead of having dead silent ambience.
And whatever you do, DO NOT rotate the camera up untill it clamps if you value your psyche.

I really wanted to like this game, but it seems like the dev has made questionable choices at every. single. turn.

1. The premise is fairly simple, and could even be fun if it had been executed better in Unity, or just...done simpler in Ren'py. I get it, I get what the dev was going for, but it seems way too ambitious considering that everything is buggy and the poses are wonky. Here are some examples:

- The character's dick does not align with the stepsister's mouth or vagina in any pose. Instead, you just get "close enough" and the sound effects start playing, the pleasure bars start filling up. Why did it have to be like this? Could it have been executed better if the characters were locked into fixed positions when a pose was selected? I would think so, considering you can only initiate poses in specific places anyways.

- Sometimes the poses require you to press space to fill up a pleasure bar, sometimes you have to move your mouse, it's so inconsistent and never clarified.

- Some poses flatten the stepsister's breasts until they're like cardboard pancakes on her chest, etc.

2. The animations aside, even the dialogue is so unbearable. First of all, it's written in such a dry, cringey manner that is really off putting in so many situations. Let me give you an example: "Ha-ha, your nick name will now be 'sweet cum boy' because your cum is sweet. Now go before I change my mind." - MC's stepmom. Not only are there AI voices, even the writing seems like it may very well have been done by AI.

3. The spelling is so off in multiple places, and it just seems like something that could've been easily remedied by getting someone to proofread the script. But honestly considering all the other issues with the game, this is probably one of the milder complaints I have.

4. The AI voices. I'm not going to go into some righteous spiel about how AI is bad, or how you should pay actual voice actors to read lines etc. Even ignoring all of that, the AI voicing in this game is just such a turn-off. The delivery of every line is so dry and monotonous, emotionless that it would have been better off not voiced.

5. The instructions seem to suggest that you'll have to do some sort of "resource management" by keeping an eye on the stepmom's awareness meter to avoid getting caught or whatever, but there was absolutely no need for the mechanic in the game, it may as well not have existed. The stepmom was no real threat, and every stage was pretty much like having sex on a timer. 12 minutes on the clock, go fuck your stepsis as much as you want, then put on your clothes and get ready to hide or talk to your mom, depending on the situation as the timer approaches zero. That's all.


In conclusion:

I really like the simple idea, and the character customization. However, I think this game suffers majorly from an overambitious developer. If the dev had:
- made it in a simpler engine like Ren'py instead of overcomplicating it with Unity
- left it unvoiced instead of using AI voices
- either just made it a sandbox clicker sim, or actually focused more on making a fun gameplay loop where the player would have to alternate between fucking the stepsis and hiding using different strategies

;I think it would've ended up as a better game. But as it is, I'm afraid it's really not something I'd recommend.

Fairly said the game has potential with the sex mechanics but lacks some customization. The voice lines are straight up AI which is absolute shit.
The graphics are good though.

I started playing this game from the beginning and have to say it gets worse with every update. Had to delete my old saves as was encountering bugs constantly ie not being able to sleep, talk to the sister/mom etc. Npw i'm encountering more bugs ie not being able to undress the sister so given up on this. Not sure how its got 3 and a half stars but i would wait for more updates.

actually a really good game, I dont understand why people rate this game so low to be honest. Didn't have any bugs throughout the whole playthrough. Only thing i see is a lack of content, but from my understanding new content will be added to the game which i look forward to.

Got a bit put off by this game after hearing about "AI" voices but the voices were actually pretty good, can't really complain tbh.

Don't Disturb Your Stepmom v0.028

Two stars is being generous. This game is a glitchy mess. Camera and MC's body gets messed up most of the time. Somtimes it takes 2 billion clicks for the MC to build arousal. Voice acting is good but the grammar isn't. So basically imagine English voices with poor English. I put all the graphic settings on low, but the graphics still act wonky. The ragdolling is as bad as it is good. It's hard to control them because they just flop everywhich way. Story wise and sex scene wise, it's very boring. The day starts with you entering a room, getting undressed, and clicking nonstop until you get some arousal going, all before the stepmom discovers you. Then repeat. But it's not very stimulating or rewarding. I'm really shocked that so many people gave this game a high rating. I was totally expecting only 0-3 reviews, all 1-2 stars. I wanted to give this game one star but because the developer actually made an effort instead of just making a barebones demo, I gave it another star. I only got through the first six chapters before I got bored with it and uninstalled it. Never going to play it again.

I have a lot to say but since this is still a working project, I think it's best just to point out what's weird and should be addressed ASAP as well as commend the creator on what they've done right. Since I like to get the bad news out of the way first, I'll list my issues with this game:

• Janky controls - Not refined, odd movement for both the MC and other characters. Probably due to how freely they can be positioned during sex scenes. I would try to change it so there are multiple poses with limited posing that can be done by the player. I would look to the game 'Some Modeling Agency' for some inspiration on this.
• Janky Voice Acting/Writing- The use of AI voice models is innovative and I support the idea in general, but the implementation of it in this game is... well I would say just remove it until you come across better voice models. I'm not a fan of the weird Morty-like voice for the MC, it got annoying very quickly.
  • Side note - There definitely needs to be some proof-reading for the script. A lot of typos and grammatical mistakes. If the creator reads this review, feel free to reach out to me. I can help with creating more natural dialouge.
• Graphics - This is more of a 'neutral' side, as its your stand run-of-the-mill Unreal game from the last few years. There are some areas that need to be polished for sure. But I will give kudos for using a unique environment that I haven't seen yet.

Now the good:

• Gameplay- To me, there's something more to this game than what has come out for a lot of similar 3D games like this. There are some mechanics in this game that help it go beyond just a fucking simulator which causes the player, at least at first, to be aware of thier surroundings. Right now, the MC and stepsister are banging around the house and for most of the scenarios, you have to keep somewhat quiet or the stepmom will investigate. If the stepmom sees you with the stepsister or naked in general, it's game over. The creator also put in some distractions around the house for the MC to use to stop the suspicion level from rising. Additionally, there are moments where the stepmom will interrupt only for you to have a limited time window to escape/hide. To me, I appreciate this as it adds an extra level of gameplay that I don't normally see in other games.
• Scenarios- Mentioned this already, as of this review there are 9 scenarios, all of which have to do with the stepsister. But it's clear from dialouge and currently locked content that there are plans for the stepmom and what I'm assuming is the stepsister's best friend in the future. There's various objectives within the scenario that need to be completed in order to advance. Normally these objectives are having the MC cum, the stepsister orgasm, hide, talk to character, move object to another location, etc. etc. There's enough variation here that I'll touch on more in my recommendations.
• Character customization- You can't customize the MC since this game is completely first person. But you can customize the stepsister and in the future, the stepmom and a 'best friend' (that has yet to be seen in game). There's a good amount of customization, some sliders available that I haven't seen in other games which is always nice. You can't change skin tone right now but otherwise you have a decent range of options. Just don't expect it to be like Home Together.
• Optimization- I'm running this on an RTX 3080 on epic quality and there are no issues. Obviously your mileage will vary but it seems this game is pretty well optimized in comparison to some of the other games on here.

Recommendations:

• I hope the creator is here to read these because I think the game can become something good as long as they have a good direction in where they're going and what they want to do. I'd recommend that the following should be done in near future updates to ensure interest in this game stays alive:
  • Focus on adding content for the stepmom.
  • Get rid of the AI voice models until you find one that meets standard quality.
  • Proof-reading, proof-reading, proof-reading. (I'm available if need be)
  • In future scenarios, try to create more options for the players to do. Different paths to complete objectives. People like variation in gameplay if it can lead to different results.
  • Don't be afraid to implement time limits, or even reduce times down for current scenarios. I like the idea of the door is second's away from opening and I have to make a quick decision as to whether I'm going to run or hide.
  • More customization options- hair options, clothing options, etc. People like to create, give them to tools to do it.
• But if I were to emphasize anything, add more content and when doing so, focus on creating options within the environment for the player to use. The creator clearly already understands this as it's been implemented in some of the scenarios. Hopefully they keep on this track and evolve from it.

I've only seen two updates for this game on this website so far, so I'm going to assume that this is a relatively new project and the creator is still invested in this game. If this game was 2 years old with "consistent" updates, it'd be 2 stars. But I like to encourage creators, especially when there is potential for it to grow into something special. Considering all of this, it's tentatively 4 stars right now in my opinion. I know people don't like rating on a game's potential, rather the state it's in now. But I'd rather see more people try this game out and give critical reception, rather than slap it with a 1 star rating because it doesn't have the same features as a game with years of development. I'll be keeping my eyes on this game for a while.

iTS GETTING PRETTY GOOD
Last time Ive checked it wasn't working at all. Couple of days passed. The Dev dropped an Update it's now pretty promising. Can't wait to see more. Character Creation, more girls, more positions, more gameplay, it's all already there and being worked on. There's of course still blocked stuff and some control jank but I can say for sure that I had a great boner from start to finish and it made the little time it took me totally worth it.
Can't wait to see more !

Game version: v0.028

It's in early stage of development but it's playable and enjoyable despite the bugs.

I played it in epic settings and it was running smoothly with in 2K resolution with a 3080 RTX.

Needs polishing and a more story (like knocking your stepsis up and making family drama and then adding more drama by knocking your stepmom up too )

This game has a great potential and I wish it success and hope it will not stay for years in alpha state because the mechanics are already playable and enjoyable, and I'll definitely support it.

Although he did manage to fix the bugs but I still found one annoying bug in the last step that even when I finish and pour my ejaculate on my stepsister I still don't understand what's next I continue to fuck her so the row of red fills up and I still fail but in general you can see that he is trying to fix the The big elephant in the room and I'm quite in favor of this game despite the bugs because if it continues like this adding content and fixing bugs it's going to be a great game

Scenes are not unlocking after finishing them.
Locked to the 3rd event "12 minutes in Heaven", continued past that yesterday and none of that are unlocked and I really dont feel like playing through all that again.
And now I can't use my arms, so everything after that is unplayable.
This is a fucking mess.

Well done. The game provides a first-person perspective, granting players complete control over their movements and actions. However, I would have liked to see a Stepmom secret ending or something similar.

Positive points:
- Good graphics, considering that it is 3D
- Fun physics and mechanics of the bodies (although if they worked well and without bugs it would be much better xd)
- The idea/theme of the game is good.

Bad points:
- EXTREMELY bugged. Probably the buggiest game I play in F95.
- Terrible performance/optimization (RTX 2060, i5 - Medium/low graphics 30fps...).
- Very short and does not invite you to continue playing after finishing the levels, since there is nothing to do, apart from fucking a stepsister, and you can't even move her or change her position... (Maybe even that is bugged).

It's a shame because the IDEA of the game is excellent, but, for example, I had to restart the game every time I passed a level because it just got bugged somehow. At least it would be nice if the "endgame" had several things to do.

- Buenos gráficos, teniendo en cuenta que es 3D
- Físicas y mecánicas de los cuerpos divertidas (aunque si anduviesen bien y sin buguearse seria mucho mejor xd)
- La idea/temática del juego esta buena.

Puntos negativos:
- EXTREMADAMENTE bugueado. Probablemente el juego con más errores que juega de F95.
- Pésimo rendimiento/optimización (RTX 2060, i5 - Gráficos medios/bajos 30fps...).
- Muy corto y no invita a seguir jugando luego de terminar los niveles, ya que no hay nada para hacer, además de follarse a la hermanastra, y ni siquiera se puede moverla o cambiarla de posición... (Tal vez hasta eso este bugueado).

Es una lastima porque la IDEA del juego es excelente, pero, por ejemplo, tuve que reiniciar el juego cada vez que pasaba de nivel porque simplemente se bugueaba de alguna forma.
Al menos estaría bien que el "endgame" tuviese varias cosas para hacer.

Although the game looks like an unoptimized trash, it has a very interesting gameplay. Perhaps I would look at the development of this story in the future. And we also need to visit the Steam page, in case there is something else interesting there.

This is a very simple sim game sexing with your stepsister, but with few bugs right now. But it can be completed. Although it is listed as "Final" in the title, it is more like an abandoned or unfinished project. It definitely needs more content, such as scenes, poses, and clothes,
The female voices are very good though.

Utter trash.

The animations are terrible and unrealistic, the first blowjob scene, can easily see the male characters cock coming out the back of her head. It reminded me of that scene in Scary Movie in the toilet cubicle where one of the Wayans brothers got screwed in the ear. That was probably the highlight of the game.

Movement is incredibly slow, for no apparent reason. Just mind numbingly tediously slow.

Looking around seems to move the whole body somehow, so in the washing machine scene shown in the screenshot, once you move the MC behind her, if you look down, the lower half of the MC's body actually angles away from her, so you can't actually watch the action, instead you have to stare at the top of a washing machine while the counter inches higher in infinitesimal increments.

The AI voices are terrible, better to just switch them off. The dialogue is also terribly written so even reading it hurts.

There are just no redeeming features of this game.

Peak garbage, It is laggy as hell and the writing is beyond stupid. There's bad spelling everywhere - "diner/dinner" "we just meet" etc, the ai voices sound overly enthusiastic about everything, and the sex scenes are buggy as hell too, which is the main draw to a porn game.
