Sadly this game is held back by some very baffling choices in game design and an incredible tedious start.
A lack of clear guidance (fair enough, you have to experiment yourself) can definitely work in a game, but combining it with an inability to run, meaning you have to crawl all over the (small) map to find stuff is just punishing the player for no reason, at a time where they are forming their opinion of the game still. Combine the slow movement speed, lack of guidance for what can and can't be interacted with and the limited saves, and it's just not worth the grind, even if the AI images are somewhat tasteful.
