Downloading in germany

First of all, I know it is going to sound as stupid as it is but I have to make sure if I am allowed to download games from F95zone here in Germany. I just moved in Germany and the first thing my friends told me is to be VERY CAREFUL with my downloads as they knew I used to download hundreds of stuff in my home country.

So if anybody here (Preferably German) can let me know if I am free to use this site or not, I would really appreciate it.

What is it about German law specifically that prohibits you from downloading files? As long as you're within the laws, I'm sure simply downloading a file won't get you in trouble. Most of the time its the actual sharing of copyrighted files that will actually get you in trouble. And I'm not even sure how copyright laws work for subscription based porn games.

iam from germany and its all fine - streaming of movies and peer to peer is difficult because the laws - but there must be a person or company (like universal pictures etc) who find out and blame u for court thats expensive for small developers and so u are on the safe side if u download things from f95 or porn from other websites - i hope this helps
