when im trying to extract the mod to the game folder it sayas traceback error?what iam doing wrong?isnt intstall directory the game folder?

First ensure you downloaded the Win/Linux/Mac Dreams.of.Desire.Definitive.Edition.v1.0.3.MULTi5-GOG.zip from here.

Make sure you are unziping the mod into the game directory and NOT into the "game" folder in the games directory.

You want to merge/overwrite this folder with the one from the mod...


The inside of the above game folder should look like the screenshot below after the mod is installed.
Note the newly added "mod" and "scripts" folders and the "elite.rpa" file.



If your using the Steam Version you'll want to overwrite all of the files in the games install directory (first screenshot) with the contents of the Steam version of the mod. The second screenshot above should look the similar when the Steam mod is installed.

Yes and no… lains contained the ipatch, the GOG release added a relationship editor (gets disabled with ipatch installed) that made the ipatch irrelevant my mod updates this relationship editor slightly.

If you’re using the Steam version, my mod updates Steam version to be inline with the GOG version.

Simply put it’s not longer needed.

Doesn't work well on the Steam version. It says it's installed, the incest patch is indeed applied, and the gallery mod is there, but nothing related to the walkthrough or the guide appears, anywhere.

Looks like something may have went wrong during the installation.

I have personally tested re-installing the Steam version from scratch (twice) and have found no issues, and have others here haven't either....

Same content. Other patch is not needed.
