Dresden Files

[Apokolypse]

Does anyone have any interest in developing a porn game around the Dresden files universe? There is definitely enough subject matter to do it with, I just don't know how to make games. I'd be happy to help any developer with content or plot or story development, I just have no knowledge about design and execution.

A wizard detective would have no trouble getting into the kinds of situations that would be advantageous for this type of game.

I loved the old tv show and have all the books up to 10, paperback and audio. A new series is in the works as of last year. Haven't checked up on it in a while.

As for a game. I dunno. It's a pretty serious world and yeah there's lots of things that could be used to make a great game but I dunno. It's such a serious and violent world that at least for me I can't see it being a good selling point. And I don't mean selling point in the financial sense.

Mab might be upset if she's not portrayed in a good light,,,,,

Dresden Files was definitely one of the key inspirations for Love of Magic; if you enjoy Urban Fantasy it's a good one to check out.

That would definitely something I'd be interested in developing.
But, although I'm a software enigneer I haven't started making games yet and my first one is still on planning stages. It's in the World of Darkness universe, so it's also an Urban Fantasy.
But before deciding on this, Dresden Files and other urban fantasy series definitely crossed my mind (Iron Druid would be an awesome adaptation)

I'd be with you on this, but my great fear of someone doing one is that it would end up being a parody game of the lowest tier (of the lol so random jokes with a Dresden Files paint job type).

For it to satisfy my tastes, it would not only be a game set in the Dresden Files universe, but it would also need to hit all those gritty vibes the novels have.

Could probably build a game around investigating a shady sex cult at the request of the Raith family...

In the first book, the evil sorcerer uses a sex ritual to fuel his magic, so it's got the potential. ScroxDieded, Iron Druid would be solid as well. Sounds like we might share a reading list...........

I'm pretty sure I've read some of Alex Verus... Though I'm not sure, it's been a long time. It's just that the novels names are very familiar to me.
Changeling Saga sounds interesting though.

As this is very interesting, I've remembered a few series that I'd like to see adult games based on:

- although it has a good enough TV show, I feel that there's a lot more that can be explored in an "adult Harry Potter universe".
There's obviously the True Blood universe, but from that I'd just extract a few characters as if we talk about vampire universes I very much prefer the WoD one (not novel but a well crafted universe in a RPG) or the Anne Rice's one, which was what originated it all. It did get very weird in the final books with her upcoming conversion, but still, it's awesome.
Now, if we go to other genres, there's a few that I'd like to see books on:

's a no-brainer. It's already a harem erotica book with a solid cast of characters and a very interesting story, with betrayals, hook-ups and a lot of sex.

would be very difficult to adapt, I believe. There's little to no sex in the books, but with some maneuvering it could be done, if we go to a story focused game low on the sex side.

- now this one is on my top 2 universes. It's too underrated, IMO and has a very rich universe and a huge amount of content already, with plenty of sex on it's own. When I get to develop my own games, if no one's done it until then I'll surely give this a go because... Well, it's awesome and I feel that not enough people know about it. Other Marion Zimmer's series could also be taken in consideration such as the Avalon Series and Fall of Atlantis.
