I think Dungeon Tavern is an entertaining game. Its biggest problem, arguably, is that it's an indie game. (Note that I've only played the story mode.)
The game itself seems to have a bit more potential than it offers, since, for example, the building itself is small.
The story is simple: you're trapped and you have to stay in the tavern for a week. It seems to me like waiting for the Demon King to come and pass judgment on you.
Meanwhile, the "antagonist" protagonists, the witch and the dark elf, try to tempt and corrupt the MC and his main love interest, Celeste.
And that's it. The loop consists of talking to the character you're interested in a couple of times a day, and then the day goes by.
As I said, it's simple but effective. You decide who catches your attention the most and you see the story.
I find the art interesting. I haven't played many with this art, but I think they're quite good and all are beautiful.
Has voice actors both the text and the sex acting. It's not the typical voice acting that suddenly goes silent during the sex scene, and the moans, etc., make generic sounds, which I really appreciate. It's currently being done, so most of it isn't dubbed, but the voices seem pretty good to me.
Its biggest problem is the bugs, at least it seems like you're trying to fix them as soon as possible.
I don't think it's expensive, it's about €8 considering it's being dubbed, but the number of scenes seems a bit low, and while I appreciate the fact it's being dubbed, it's not that decisive (on this point, I'm a bit conflicted myself, lol, on the one hand, the dubbing is very good, but on the other, if that raises the price a bit, then I don't mind that much. But if it's not done, the game loses value since it makes it simpler, lol, and then I get into a loop
). I'll probably buy it on sale or when I get the urge and get it.
In short: considering it's clearly an indie game designed to be entertaining and eye-catching, I think it's pretty good. Its biggest problem is fixing bugs, finishing the dubbing, and adding more scenes, since it seems that most of them are just watching the character in the game performing an act (as if they were two moving sprites). Still, I encourage you to try it.
I would like to emphasize that this is just the story mode, it has a sandbox mode that also looks good and I will play eventually.
