VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Ecchi Sensei [Day 22-23 Final] [BlueCat]

I tried, but this game is too damn ugly. the characters are nice, the story is fine and I would like to follow the progression of MC with all these different ladies, but it's just toon painful to put in my eyes.

One of this legendary Big almost 10 years of development games

Honestly i m not sure how to properly review it despite playing all of it
so i will go with pros and cons

Pros:

• automatic to play (you only do choices)
• Choices actually change things around (most of them are inconsequential)
• a lot of content
• a lot of girls
• some of the sex scenes are pretty good
• Harem experience if you want to, but i believe you can stay monogamous
• a lot of bullshits are optional

Cons:

• no noises/voice acting
• annoying a bit laud cuts - Echi Sensei- that are fully voiced!
• you can fuck 30 girls 10 times in a row not a single moan
• as Abandoned game that make it into BIG lists - game is definition of wasted potential, i wonder if authors ill ever notice how rare for lewd game is to get that popular
• most mundane elevator music possible
• Lack of main hero focus/drive that would help me get more focused on the story
• lewds scenes are sometimes poorly animated
• Girls looks a bit too candy - flat colors, no shadows, literally dolls
• no endings/conclussions to all of this time/GBs of data

Summary: game is as completed as ever will be
and if you looking for BIG game aka popular with lots of content
this is very good shot, for developers and lewd players together
While i can't deny bitter taste to it all, its a interesting game to check

Generic HS game, story is okay, there's 1d charcters, ~okay HS models with 'meh' to 'eh' animations,

Story - 2/5. Eh, to some point I was engaged
Choices - 1/5. Sometimes you can SKIP scenes, not even GTFO. You're FORCED to interact with almost ALL of them.
Gameplay - KN
Characters - 1-3/5. Mostly one-dimensional. You won't care about them or hate them.
Models/animations - 2,2/5. It's HS. They're decent, even if on a low spectrum of quality.
Grammar. Eh, whatever.

sill my favorite game on the site so far, so sad it's abandoned but the current state is till worth a play. plenty of characters to interact with and court and the dark mind patch adds new elements in you're interested in what they provide. 10 outta 10 would abandon again. :sadge:

No VN has come close to the amount of developed characters. The renders are outdated as hell and the vaginas look weird and overly hairy but the build-up and relationship with the girls makes me see past that most of the time. Kotori is the best girl. Sad to see the dev gave up on the game, but there is still more content than the majority of finished games. Plays off like a fun anime with some characters then switches to serious mode with others giving a good balance of fap-material and actual character development.

Boring story, uninteresting and uninspiring writing and lack of an engaging direction. characters are generic and dull. animations are alright, but nothing great.

this game (week 1) is over 16gb, yet ive had over 1thousand images missing, i redownload and extract again, still the same. not worth the download. the story is beyond boring, the writing is mid at best, and the art direction is dated. paired with the thousands of missing images for such a huge file size, it just aint worth the download nor space. go elsewhere for your game. the reviews are what drove me in to trying, and i found myself wanting to claw my eyes out. had thousands of images not been missing, i might of enjoyed it more. but meh. your typical generic clicking simulator.

its alright imo. felt all over the place and there was wayyyy too many girls. if you're not interested in a girl you're forced to skip through their scenes. like there was so many girls that i'd have to think for a bit to try and remember who im talking to. but a lot of them arent interesting enough to stand out from eachother

i played the game with the patch so there was some decent scenes. but this is honestly one of those games that would have been better as a sandbox that gives you the option of who to pursue

I'll be honest with you - i skipped almost all of the story. Because it's... not really needed. From what i glimpsed - there is a lot of weirdness in it and it just soured my experience from the great amount of porn in the game.

And that's the reason for 5 stars - there is a lot of varied porn with variety of characters.

Just be sure to install "DarkMind" patch to add more of good stuff to it.

Honestly, the game was quite good when it was actively being developed. A wide range of characters, some odd and interesting quirks, and you could have every single one of them in your bed.

Unfortunately, as you can see with the Abandoned tag, the game hasn't been updated in a long time. And even worse, you can see that the developer still has his Patreon and such up and running. He's just milking his supporters for every penny they're worth at this point, hasn't even been a word from him since October 2022 (half a year at this point.

If you play it, you'll have a good amount of content then just a dead end.

Developer is just milking the game, unfortunately he did not release anything in the last 2 years and yet he have the audacity to promise for updates with fake deadlines which of course are not followed

I used to love this VN, however the sudden fall in quality and quantity has ruined this amazing VN

This VN covers a wide range of fetishes, almost all of them being optional.

The renders was/is quite good.

However the dev clearly has lost whatever interest he has in creating this, and an unmotivated dev just makes for a bad VN.
which is a shame since this was one of my absolute favourite VNs.

the dev is a scammer, he never deliver what he promised and never even once suspend any payment support that he get.

the only time he did an update was when this site give him abandoned tag, remember Milfy City? the situation is like that game

I dont have problem with wall of text unless its repetitive and very un-inspiring as it is here. Reading how the whole class awnsers all the questions in the history quiz took maybe 15 min and did not really develop the story.

This used to be one of the games I was looking forward to every single update a few years back, but seeing as how the downloads feel very clunky to go through on a fresh pc and the waiting time between the last update and the one we just got was enormous for how little content we actually received, I feel as though the game has run its best course.

It hit a stale point of quantity over quality in both animations and writing at a certain point and you can clearly notice it during the latest days of the game. I know BlueCat is really good at doing what he does when he does it properly and I know this game can be really good so my hope, even though it is weak, lies with the month release to fix most of the issues this game has.

I find lots of goodies in this game! It is among the better ones I have come by compared to other games on F95. So maybe it even deserves more than a strong 4, but yet, there is def stuff that could have been done better. The freedom is limited and the Dark Mode has it's flaws and seems to be more passive than active. But with that said, there is a lot of goodies here for the one with some patience. The first days is going slow and it's a one-way road limited of everything. I was very unsure at the first 3 days of the game but decided to stick with it to see. The patience paid of at the end and I find this game with the way it builds up quite intriguing. I think the developer deserves THUMBS UP for what he have made - it's a great universe to be in. Thank you BlueCat and I hope you find motivation to continue this project.

I skipped 90% of the story/text. Read just enough to know who's who and that was enough to enjoy this game for what it is: a masterpiece of such lewdness I'd blush telling anyone I played it ^^

TIP: in settings you can choose fetishes to avoid, so unless you get off on urine, torture, furry etc. tweak that shit.

This game is objectively terrible on just about every metric you can think of. The MC is not intelligent (even though he frequently thinks to himself how clever he is and every other character is amazed at his supposed intelligence), he is a horrible teacher, and most of his interactions with other characters are completely unbelievable. The writing, dialog, and grammar are atrocious and seemingly written by a self-professed Japanese expert who has never been to Japan. A game of this quality would have been laughed off the market years ago in comparison to any semi-popular Japanese VN the developer supposedly admires. Additionally, the online money-grab is blatant and offensive.


Edit: I forgot to mention the visual aspect of the VN so... character designs are mostly acceptable, renders are mediocre, and animations are of average quality but short.

Important: If you're not a weeb, or a weeb that has past their peak or "dark history" phase, the writing for this game can be extremely cringe. You've been warned.

This is a massive game that suffers from trying to implement too many different themes and game functions without fleshing out the base content first. For example, the game has a map, statistics, and calendar function that are "work in progress", functions that based on what I've played aren't really needed, yet the main storylines have not progressed. Like others have said, the tone can be all over the place. The MC can change from very caring to a dickhead at the snap of a finger. If the game focused more on polishing and completing the existing storylines it would solve a lot of issues that I have with the game.

(I played the Week 1 version that is noted as final as of October 2021)

I've played the game to half of the first week so far but I can already tell that the low-star ratings are on point for most of their criticism of the game:

• Quantity over Quality

• The MC thoughts makes no sense

• Bad Writing

I will probably go through with the game despite these problems because I'm a sucker for games that let you play as a Mary-Sue (and oh boy is your character one of those) and I like Illusion girl models.
But unless that is your case too, I would say you'd be better playing something else.

I'll update this review if my views change with further episodes.

UPDATE 2.FEB.2022
Ive actually completed the game (as in, reached the end for the latest version) a couple of months ago but forgot to update this review.

I've upped the rating to 4 stars (3.5 actually) because for some reason i started to like this game and some of the characters in it.

Too bad it looks abandoned as of right now. The so called "rewrite/merger" of the game is .... lets say, nowhere to be seen.
I hope the devs will release it at some point but i have my doubts, its been in the works for a very long time and lately no new progress updates were seen so yeah ... rip this game ... too bad, it was getting good.


Hah, its kinda funny tho, i gave this game a 1 star rating at first ... here we are at 4 (3.5 really) ...

UPDATE 27.SEPT.2021 : After playing some more (as ive stated in the review bellow) i've decided to raise the rating to 2 stars.
This is because of some of the characters in the game. Surprisingly, i really started to like a few of the girls here. Mainly Tomoe, Fuyu and Mao (i really hated her at first but actually ended up liking her in the end, she's actually very sweet i think)

Oh and one more thing, i give half a star because of the MC. Unlike most games out there, he isnt a fucking spineless useless moron with an IQ of 2.

I have yet to finish what there is of the game, im still early in week 2 and do intend to continue playing for a bit longer.
Sadly the overall "story" doesnt improve ... i dont think it can improve. Your goal is to essentially fuck every single thing that has tits and a few holes.

Harem lovers might enjoy this game hehehe, its harem but turned up to 11 ... well sort of a harem ... listen, its complicated ! heh

This will be a short review.

Mainly because i havent played it too much so far but i was compelled to make a review nonetheless.

That being said, if you are looking for cheap sex scenes with anime characters then go ahead, this is a game that only does that

I rarely write reviews and i usually wait to finish the game before i do write a review.

This game is quantity over quality. You fuck 20+ times a day. Thats all it is.

Renders are very bad
Character models are mediocre at best
Lighting in scenes is very bad
Animations are meh
Textures are bad

Story is ... bad. I mean ... what do you expect with 30 + characters?
You're a teacher that starts a new job at this school. What do you do in you first few hours of the day? Well you fuck the principal ofc.
It feels like the game forces sex scenes down your throat as soon as you start the game ...

Audio. Idk, i play these games muted.

So far, its a bad game. If you want cheap sex scenes, go for it, you get a lot of sex scenes in your first day in-game.
