To this day I still don't understand why some of these japanese games still censor the asshole or why censor it this heavily. I mean most of the japanese games have it uncensored or lightly censored where you can easily tell what's going on. But this and some other games not only censor the anus, they heavily censor everything else to the point where you can't even tell what's going on too. Does anyone know why?

I played this game through using a machine translation on release. The art was nice but I didn't really enjoy the story structure. Most of the H scenes are during a bad-end after getting a choice during a monster fight 'wrong'. So to view the full scene requires a bit of save/loading which takes away from the flow. I also just tend to like when the H scenes are all building up on the prior one which can't happen when they take place during a game over scene.

Is all content intact from the Japanese version? IIRC there was a scat scene during the Mogudan designed deuteragonist section of the story.

I don't know it is laid out in the very first part of the article. The police started enforcing the law stricter at one point. So some have been heavily censoring to not worry about being in violation of Article 175. While others continue to use the light censoring but yet in a way hoping that Article 175 is not enforced stricter as it has at times. Some are willig to take the chance others are not. Can't really fault either group really.


Article 175 of the Criminal Code of Japan is to prevent the distribution and sale of of indecent material, and its current interpretation includes pornography. This leads to a curious situation in which adult material must be partially censored, usually across genitalia. This law seems to override Article 21, Japan’s free speech law.

Can pretty easily tell that some heavily censor so they don't have to worry in anyway of being in Violation of Article 175, while others choose to attempt the light censoring to get around Article 175.

Aside from Q-Gaku from Funbag Fantasy, there is also Mogundan. The artist for Brave Soul Game, And alot of magazine covers of Unreal Comics.

Also, iirc based on my blind play for jpn, it has some 'gore and petrification' death. Then again given those monsters...

I think you attached the wrong zip file. Waffle use custom engine instead of ren'py. The save in zip is ren'py save files so shouldn't work.

The save files is in the following location: C:\Users\%USER%\AppData\Roaming\Waffle\Eden's Ritter - Paladins of Ecstasy
