VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Ehko Island [v1.9] [CafeGlow]

Note about content: If you dont like feet/legs or at least female focused games you definitely wont enjoy this. The MC doesnt see any action but the narrator does a pseudo joi thing which is pretty hot and there's a few good scenes with other people. Also, despite the 'female protagonist' tag it does appear that the protagonist is male, though there are multiple perspectives which are female.

First off the renders are (probably) the highest quality I've seen on this site, poses, quality, environments, post processing, graphic design are all top notch. It feels a tier above anything else and is impressive. For most other artists the quality of a single render here would be their best pinup or wallpaper.

The general writing is also good and the voiceover adds to it, it flips between things happening/dialogue and the narrator doing a teasing/joi thing which i feel like escalates as the game progresses and is great.

The actual story is about a photographer who lives in an 'AI' dominated world where 'real' things dont really happen anymore. He goes to Ehko Island- a society mostly run by women in order to capture 'real beauty' even though photography is outlawed and captures the stories of people's who livelihood's are being ruined by AI. We also see the perspective of the ruler of the island in order to learn more about the world.

The whole story seems to be crafted to be a cautionary tale about the dangers of AI, and AI eroding human creativity. I dont really agree with the message but overall the game is great and really feels like art crafted with care.

Also, unfortunately for the dev, I think this game needs a slightly higher level of reading comprehension / patience than most here have or care to have. I was also immediately confused starting the game because it was written so different from the traditional porn game which I was expecting. The game probably could've attracted a larger audience with actual male/female scenes and leaning at least a bit into the traditional format but respect to the devs for doing their own thing.

Nice enough story, not too long dialogs, and a good female narrator voice.
But the author added too much noise in post, or maybe rushed some renders to release the game — which is odd, because the renders on his X account look gorgeous.


Music and ambient are chill and pleasant to my ears.


Overall, one of the best AVN out there.

What is this game? A random badly written story featuring sexy ladies posing about for no valid reason.

It's kinda hot but it feels so weird and disconnected from anything. Any interesting and/or hot moment is over before it begins.

You make no decisions. You have no input or anything.
You just click along with a really annoying narrator trying to speak all seductively in your ears (the game does tell you to put on headphones) but if anything, her voice acting was so badly done that I muted the game. Personal problem? Probably, but jeez.

The writing is so ass and incredibly conceited, the stale voiceover only makes it worse. This is another game that desperately needed an editor to review the script.

The "game" is and endless collection of stills with continuity errors in some scenes, the dev is clearly a foot fetishist as the whole game revolves around feet and all the models have fucked up calves.

Save yourself the time and bandwidth and just skip this.

Just wow. Saw a guy here bi*ch about the text being so small it hurts him. I advise checking in with your eye doctor (also there is a voiceover option). Anyways a banger of a game from the storytelling perspective changing from person to person to tell the story and immerse you in the world, to the absolute peak of feet content i have ever seen in a game on this site. It literally has everything from manicured nails, high heels, sandals to toe rings and platforms. 10/10 for any foot guy out there. Also if you don't really play these games for the story and world building just pron than its a must play.

Very nice images but the text is so small it hurts to read and there's no menu except the save menu. If I want to load or change a setting I need to close the game and reopen it to get to the main menu.
