While this has very little lewd imagery, it is one of the best written games made, hell it outdoes the writing of many AAA games. Seriously play it there are many different endings you can get, and when you do get them there is no plotholes that can contradict the endings when you get them. It has very few combat encounters and parodies a lot of tropes known in rpgs.

I just finished the game, and, waow. Am speechless. Let's break it down.

Story & Characters. This is probably the best dialogue and characters I've ever seen in an RPGM game. The story's preamble is very simple and only shows you how literally anything can twist into unpredictable and thrilling turn of events, given enough talent on scriptwriter's side. Hats off, very good job.

Gameplay. You control the young duchess while she is trying to kill some time waiting for her fiancé to arrive, and... well, it's your journey to take. You are free to explore the world has been given to you and quite often you will find yourself getting into different kind of situations. There isn't really much gameplay beside going here and there and talking to people, so game resembles more an adventure-like visual novel, but that feeling of fully controlling your character and being able to make decisions as well as roam around looking for trouble is what I love the most in RPGs. You aren't being guided through a narrow corridor but rather intended to go on a whatever journey you're able to find.

Adult content. The game isn't porn. If you came here to bust a quick nut, move along. Though the theme and atmosphere of eroticism is somewhat prevalent, accent is made more on relationship development rather than fucking silly as you already have in many other games anyway. Whatever you find in this game, is good. But whatever just isn't in the game - it isn't in the game.

Overall, such a fine piece of art is rightfully sitting on its 5 stars which shows exactly how satisfied are the people who likes good story. Only the CG art is somewhat meh but man I wish I could give any fucks about that one.

A very funny, very cute game. Next to no of the traditional RPG combat, but it doesn't remotely need that. Instead, the game focuses on the Duchess and the situations she gets in and out of and the people (mostly ladies) she meets on the way.

One of the fist and still best RPGM games I've ever played.

It has a very nice humor, multi-ending system and amazing plot, that changes from a comedy-style to a very deep and dramatic one.

I would highly recommend to use walkthrough guide after some time of playing to discover how really deep and complex the game is.

I'm surprised to see this here, and this is from memory as its been a long time since i played this.
but this was a VERY good experience.
me not being a fan of pointless battles made this an incredible gem.

it does have battles but they are rare and have purpose.
there are many endings in this like 20+ and you can for the most part get them in any order you want.
how ever there is a true ending (which is my only dislike in this game)

which will lock you out of obtaining some endings, so you may want to consider finding a guide if one exists to make sure you see all the content.

there is very little to no sexual content as much as i recall, light yuri if anything.

this was a relaxing experience and i much enjoyed role playing as a princess.

Some of the content of the game and general mechanics are a pretty dated by this point, but it's still probably my favorite "yuri" game. I'm a sucker for the nostalgic gamer/anime forum humor, and what can I say, it has Dwarf Fortress references. It has pretty much no combat, and if you're looking for some porn it's probably not going to satisfy, while there's a lot of flirty/sexy dialogue the art is pretty amateurish and tame.

But speaking as a fan of old-style RPGs where you interact blindly with every single object on the map because you never know where a secret/Easter egg is hidden, well, there's not a lot of games that service that itch anymore (unless they're big 3D open world games, which frankly I usually find less fun to explore), and to find a yuri game that does that is pretty fun. Also there's a huge amount of endings, though the downside is that to get all of them you will probably need a guide (and I believe getting every ending is required to unlock the super-ultra-true-ending). Not all the content is a homerun for me but it's enough that I can't really say it's anything but some minor personal taste quibbles, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it back in the day. It's fair to take this with a grain of salt though since it's been several years since I actually played this game, but I still love it to this day.

If you're primarily looking for smut, you might not find this game fits the bill. It is, however, just plain fun to play, with very creative writing and plot, and characters that actually stand on their own.

I pretty much universally give any RPG-maker style games a pass, unless everyone's raving about them or something. Despite all that, I had an absolute blast playing this game back when I first discovered it; it's not your typical 'kill 10 wolves in the forest' experience in the slightest.

This game is a classic for a reason, and if you haven't ever heard of it, consider just checking out the writing in the prologue and seeing what all the buzz is about.
