VN - Ren'Py - Completed - ENF Novels: Cold Night [v1.0] [ENF Novels]

Pamela model is too hot, probably one of the best. I wish this game was longer or had more branching paths because it was fun to play even if it was short. The renders were great, lots of good angles of Pamela.

Everyone should try this game out, it's like a good quickie.

Like most people, I value the gameplay. If the game is nothing but a novel, then I might as well read a book which certainly has better writing than most games here.

Gameplay varies between the different types of games. In VN and Ren'Py the only real game play comes from choices. The more choices the better as this allows the player to influence the story in what would otherwise just be click-to-turn-the-page-novel.

Unfortunately this game only has 1 choice, and that is the one in the beginning. Once you've taken this 1 decision the rest of the game is on rails, and you can lean back and get bored.

Because I value game play through choices, I found this game to be a boring and lackluster experience.

TL;DR = a game about exhibitionism and sex. A lot of sex content.

Story: 4/5
+ Girl is sunbathing with her friends in her underwear and then falls asleep. Her friends make a prank on her and steal all of her clothes and leave her alone in the middle of park. Heroine now must somehow get away.
+ During Heroine attempt to leave she will encounter a lot of kinky situations: straight M/F sex, lesbians, threesome, getting blackmailed, getting molested, getting embarassed, exhibitionism, getting raped, etc. etc.
+ Story is not very deep, it is just a platform to deliver lewd content.

Art and sex stuff: 5/5
+ Renders are good.
+ Heroine is hot.
+ Sex scenes are hot.
+ Game has a lot of sexy stuff.

Gameplay: 3/5
+ Typical VN with choices.
+ Choices matter. Each choice might lead you into completely new branch of story.
+ English is decent.
- Sadly the game operates on weird concept. Choices will lead you to see only 1 erotic scene and thats how story ends. You have to try again and explore different path. It is shame she cant experience multiple kinky situations during her attempt to escape.
- Unfortunately the game is quite short.

To sum it up:
I like this game. I will recommend this.
If you like stories about a female getting into kinky situations than this game is PERFECT.

Although I thought that there could have been some more variety to the possible endings, I was looking for a short game to hit the spot and this one delivers. A couple of animations could have been added in my opinion. The major problem was the english/grammar. Oof, I just stopped paying attention to the dialogue.

There's a lot of scene content to look at but the gameplay loops get a little boring. You choose a path and the game places you back to the menu after the storyline. It doesn't really keep me engaged or motivated to try out the other endings.

It's nice, short, has some various fetishes, do not branch into thousands of combinations. Still, I feel like this is just an inferior variant of Midnight Ride, which is miles better in this category.

The fetishes and sex scenes were good, it's a solid concept.
I'm not a fan of games that make me save and try 20 options, at least when they don't offer a gallery to quickly see what I've unlocked.
The renders are on the generic side.
Overall though,it's a good enough VN that was worth the time. 3 of 5.

I liked the short format, a lot of the renders and the overall idea for the story really did remind me of those old choose your own adventures (except with porn).

Most of the options end badly for the MC, but nice to play a game with a female protagonist.

On the whole - not bad for a little project, and props for releasing it completed instead of in tiny bits. Clearly a dev who knows their stuff.

TLDR:
It's a 'short & sweet' experience that left me with a smile. A multiple-route game with each route taking 1-5 minutes. I recommend it.

Want More context?
You are faced with a multiple-choice decision early on. Some of the routes branch into more decisions and each decision leads into its own scene(s).
These are all pseudo-decisions since you do want to reload your save and try those other routes as well.
There are quite a number of scenes here with decent renders, albeit very few 'animated' ones (I counted 2).

The dev could have gone a lot darker with this theme at hand; props to him for not going there and being content with throwing in a few wholesome rape scenes
This game is one of those which you kinda lowkey expect a UFO ending as well ... but alas

In the end, I feel like this game has been a curious experiment in something. In what? I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps hitting as many tags as humanly possible given the limited resources? Among them "ethics" and "moral philosophy" tags which are missing from the main page

Anyway, enough of my juvenile attempts at comedy. It's a good game for what it is. And it has deceptively taken a lot more time to develop that one might think at first glance.

The story is a bit contrived at times, but reasonable.
The english is fluent.
Bonus points for releasing a finished 1.0, instead of a series of micro updates.
