Version played: 0.5.8
Introduction:
This is a fairly simple and linear NTR VN, naturally don't play this if you don't like NTR because it's not avoidable, but if that fine with you here we go. It has roughly 7h of content so far (without the optional scenes). As usual a rating for every category and the overall rating at the end
Graphics/art: 3/5
Only the sex scenes are illustrated, there's no images for smaller events like you have in some games but that's fine imo. There's some very basic animation but it's mostly just still pictures.
The quality varies wildly throughout the game. At the start it's really bad, just look at image 7 in the OP it look like it's drawn in MS paint in 5 minutes however it gets vastly better towards the end, in the final scenes it's actually pretty solid art. I think whoever is in charge of updating the OP should add some of that art from later in the game, it's a little misleading otherwise.
Music/sounds: 3/5
basic stuff, gets the job done. During some sex scenes the sex sounds are too quiet and barely audible because of the loud background music, even though the action is happening right in front of MC so it's not like the characters are trying to be quiet on purpose.
Gameplay: 0/5
It's a linear VN, you basically just walk around and see some sex scenes and dialogue, no mini-games or anything like that. Some exploration (the "forests" thing) that's frankly boring and irrelevant. If some sexual content was integrated with it at least it would feel a little more interesting. This should've been done in Ren'py imo, none of the RPGM mechanics are used here anyway.
And now to the main flaw which is that the game is buggy as hell. I frankly have rarely seen something this bad on this site. There's several game-breaking bugs that completely prevent you from continuing the game and do not go away when reloading or reinstalling. It's such a shame because the game has some redeeming qualities but I'm sure that there's some people out there that dropped this game and never saw the later content because they couldn't get through the bugs. So if you're considering playing this game I'm gonna give you ways to bypass 3 game-breaking bugs that I personally encountered, but there could be others. Light spoilers ahead obviously:
1: when you go back to school and Trisha says you're gonna walk to class together, she gets close to you and the game freezes: you have to use Mtool as suggested by someone in the thread, it's external software but easy to use and seems safe, I've used it. Just lauch the game with Mtool, use the "click to teleport" option and that should end the bug, then you can save and close Mtool
2: when it offer you a choice between training and going home and when you choose to train the screen goes black and nothing happens: reload and go home to continue the game
3: towards the end of the current content after the when you have that CG that's stuck on the screen and prevents you from doing anything: press esc, go to inventory/key items/memory shard (that's the gallery) then close it and come back, that should remove the bug.
Absolutely unacceptable imo that the game is so badly bugged that you need to install external software to even finish the game.
Writing: 4/5
The writing quality is pretty average, not too many typos but a little repetitive at times. I won't go into more detail because this is getting pretty long already, but a lot of things could've been phrased better. I do feel like it improves towards the end though.
The narrative imo is this game's strongest aspect, it's a fairly generic bully trope for most of the game but there's also a constant stream of little clues that hint at some alternative storyline, with other characters. The game's obviously not finished yet so I can't really give a proper opinion but I must say I find it quite intriguing so far, and I'm curious to see how the storylines will tie together.
Special mention to the last 2 scenes of the current update,
Conclusion: 4/5
A game that really flies under the radar, doesn't have many reviews (which is why I felt it was important to leave one) and I just found out about it yesterday even though I've been into NTR games for a long time. Honestly I had a blast playing it, starts a little slow but gets really intense at the end. Would've loved to give it 5 stars but I don't think i can do that in good faith given the multiple game-breaking bugs. Despite that for people who like NTR it's certainly worth giving it a try.
