i loved it sometimes i forgot about the game because it has not been updated for a while I'm sad that its abandoned because the main character was good and funny and the rest of the characters were also good even the cooking cow mommy was good i wish this was abandoned at all cause it was one of my favorite games i would have loved it if it was a visual novel game story based with options too choose than i would have loved it more

ITS NOT DEAD‼‼
wow heres hoping that progress picks up a bit even if it takes time, some regular scheduled updates/checks on the game would be awesome. also he said that hes not revamping any early part of the game but im just hoping for more interactions between the characters, felt like what there was in the game was very lacking so far so hopefully it fleshes out well if this sees longterm work

"Porting to Godot"

God dammit why does every video game creator decide to redo the game from the ground up instead of just finishing the darn thing?
Wasting time makes them money. Plus one needs to take into account the personality type that is engaged in the development, the majority of artistdevs are unwilling to let "good enough" lie and try to improve to the unattainable "perfect" they have in their mind.

There's also the issue that godot is the "new thing", gotta chase that new thing to see if it's better and by the time they figure out whether it is or isn't they've invested too much to go back to the old thing.

Honestly, RPGM starts to really suck with longer games that try to have a lot going on because it relies so much on plugins. I vividly remember Roz putting out an update where damn near everything broke and it took him forever to sort it cos they're not really a coder or anything and that really sucked out all the enjoyment of making the game for him. I'd much rather he ports it to Godot, gets someone who knows what they're doing coding-wise to help and then continue it that way rather than it just remain dead forever

this yes 100% this, they say its gonna be a redo of it, but if you play it has is you my see "some" familiar faces but under new context and the sort. I can at least say I am happy to actually here something about after so long, so I have some hope.

Ironically godot isn't the new thing, it's been forked because the maintainers wanted to be activists instead of merging bug fixes. Currently the 'new thing' is some fork of godot called redot or something.

It was the first time he talked about porting the game to godot. :KEK:

RPGmaker is honestly terrible to work in if you have any vision of the game that doesn't line up with exactly how the game engine thinks it should work. Plugins break frequently, get deleted frequently, and overall are miserable to work with and around. If you have to use, say, 20 of them, as I've had the joy of doing once, then it's just. Not good.
Gadot at least doesn't have the uncertainty and instability of RPGM. It's harder to learn, but if you take the effort to learn it, you quickly learn why RPGM devs like to switch to it.
