Why the fuck do I move like a snail?

Edit: jumping is ultra fast, making walking redundant. Combat is brain dead. I have no block or anything like that. The UX is a fucking disaster (why do I have to alternate between X/escape and E/enter?!?). This wasn't worth the download in its current state at all, and frankly it doesn't seem like they know where they are going with this gameplay wise.
