Prisoners generally suck in combat, so their job is to be dead weight and taunt, just so that most enemy types can ignore the taunt and target a different slot anyway.
Apologies upfront for the wall of text
For me personally prisoner is one of the stronger classes. Generally talking about changing into it manually, but on lower levels even with cursed gear i found her buffs useful
On novice and adept i tend to use them generally as buffers and loot goblins, as in give them horse trinkets for carry capacity and the dress for loot +50%.
On veteran they transform into a small nuclear device though. Often clearing whole rooms on turn 1
My setup was roughly as follows
Crown of intelligence, this can be actually swapped for something else if your prisoner is not dumb as a rock... mine was though
Collar of lust to force lust to 80 so she can spam Lust Explosion
Belt of denial to prevent her from masturbating and skipping a turn
Visor of focus to override the weakness from high lust (and 30% crit chance is nice)
Clothes depend on quirks/perks, exibitionist would get i believe 20% bonus from wearing chains. Unburdened would potentially get 50% damage from not wearing any clothes. Although i do not know if anything could be attached in that slot bringing encumberance over 100, did not play enough to be sure, so it is a bit of a risk.
Sure she stuns herself, but if anything survives it also can get stunned.
I usually take 2 archers with her to clear out the block and dodge tokens, as they are faster enough to reliably go before her.
My prisoner does not have any damage adding quirks or perks and her dmg range with this setup is 21-42 with crit being 63 i believe.
PS. I really enjoy the idea of using otherwise detrimental items to make strong combinations, on that note would appreciate if those are not removed or nerfed too much.
Again sorry for the unnecessarily long post, i just love theory crafting
Still trying to figure out how to effectively use rogues. So if anyone has any suggestions i am all ears
