I've never left reviews for H-games before, but this time it's an exception, born out of disappointment. I was expecting something along the lines of Darkest Dungeon. It's obvious what the inspiration is. But, after playing it for a few dungeons, I came to a conclusion that Ero Dungeons failed at being a Darkest Dungeon porn clone. Here is some stuff I have problems with:
1)User Interface. It is too complicated. A bunch of tabs that display seemingly useless information. UI is not responsive; you can't get a tooltip when hovering over keywords/status effects. It all turns into a mess of similar looking icons. It would not be such a problem if not for
2)Too many status effects/tokens. I get it, if it is a DD clone, it needs to be complex, but not in that way! What is a difference between Barrier and Block+? Why does encyclopedia say: "Block - damage received: -50%, damage received: 0.50x" Does it reduce the damage twice?
DD has plenty of mechanics, but, as soon as they get introduced, player can easily understand what is going on.
There are many small (and big) problems that stack up into a mess that Ero Dungeons is. I could've listed many other problems I have with this game, but I feel review is too negative already. I guess I am mad, because I had expectations of, basically, Lustiest Lair standalone game. Instead, I got a set of ideas that have no actual game design or polish behind them. At least the graphical design looks cute. And you can toggle some annoying features off.
