IMPORTANT: Really old graphics cards (circa 2013) may crash the computer especially if they don't have Vulkan driver support.

So, on to the rest of the review. The art is cute and the short animation loops are good. There's no story so you need to use some imagination. Voice snippets are a good touch and the music is excellent.

Gameplay, yeah it's not a walkover. The grind is real and you will probably need to cheat slightly or be a Patreon supporter. Patreons get a 'load earlier autosave' function that can save your butt from Cursed Objects and Kidnappings which can otherwise make you progress backwards.

I used what I consider 'minimum cheat level' which is copying the directory of autosaves before heading out to the dungeons and when I get back from the dungeons.

Gameplay advice: Upgrade buildings and don't be afraid to retreat before dangerous looking fights. You can still progress even if you don't completely finish a dungeon (by bringing back money, mana and useful items). Also, if you hate cursed items you stop getting any particular type after you have four of them identified and uncursed.

If you have played Ero Witches by the same author, Ero Dungeons should definitely be on your list.

When I played Ero Witches, I have always screamed in my heart... all these elements of fetish are great. I wish so much if I can all put them together, like BDSM on one character and ABDL on another or even have them all mixed up. Well, Ero Dungeons seems to be my answer.

That said, Ero Dungeons is still at its early stage of development although it probably built on Ero Witches. The balance, the story, the items, the enemies are all at the initial stage. I wish the game updates more, although it is already updating very frequently comparing to most of the other games.

I have my fingers crossed for this one.

A nice job on AI enemies' skill designand the skill combo is fantastic, however, the player character's side is rather poor designed or not even finished yet, makes the game very unbalanced right now.

It is not a DD style game, darkest dungeon doesnt have so many enemies with 25% dmg reduction for 3 turns at the begining of fight, and most of characters have skills to control enemies, but you wont see many in this game

Really good game a lot better than previous one - and previous was fun too but kinda too unfair with some enemies ( especially bosses ).

And Voice used in this game - I LOVE IT !...
It is probably AI Voice but it is so cute and nice <3

No balance, no fun.
Its incredible, how one can take game mechanics, which are already functional, and then just fuck them up.
No, seriously, you just clone DD, and then just clone NSFW modes for DD. You don't even need to invent anything! And yet, dev of this still managed to fuck it up.
This is beyond pathetic. Lets wait for the modes to fix this.

An excellent game in its early days.

It is based off of darkest dungeons, so if you're not a fan of those mechanics or that level of difficulty in a game, you won't like it. If you're not familiar with darkest dungeons, wait until the game is fleshed out and has more player friendly systems before trying it.

Erotic content is spread throughout every game system. Equipping units, fighting enemies, and managing your camp will involve putting girls to work in cursed maid outfits, forcibly impregnating and incubating parasites in girls for profit, managing cursed equipment, and dealing with enemies trying to fuck and kidnap your girls.

Overall great art direction, sound design, and gameplay loops. 10/10 and I hope it gets better over time.

This Games is either in serious need of difficulty choice or some way to cheat, as every victory feels like a punch in the gut rather than actually success as after the battle you will probably have to leave rather than complete it. Character captures is out right unfair for you lose them even if you win the battle. And to add insult to injury the items you pick up have a 50/50 chance of being cursed. I hope that hardcore tactics enjoy this more than me

This game is amazing. The developer is super quick to update stuff and add new features. I really hope the dev does not listen to all the comments to make it easier or if so, at least make it an optional mode. The game is a lot easier than darkest dungeons already and if anything could maybe be a bit harder. Keep up the good work, one of the few games that I actually went out of my way to support on patreon.

Alpha 2.6.2

I love the game design. It is clearly inspired by Darkest Dungeon: Losing is expected and the player has to to make tough choices in unexpected or desperate situations. Losing doesn't ruin the game, because new heroes are freely available. This is perfect for a porn game where losing means sexy content.

Heroes level up as they progress, but they can also acquire positive and negative quirks, cursed gear that cannot be removed, hypnotisms, and "crests" (magical curses). Some cursed gear can force them to change to corrupted classes, Prisoner or Maid. Players have to manage the consequences of increasingly aroused and corrupted heroes, or lean into it by using the tactics of corrupt classes.

Heroes don't die; instead, they are captured and need to be rescued, getting increasingly corrupted the longer it takes.

The artwork, animations, music, and voicing could all use some improvement. The game is still playable, but the music is annoying, the animations aren't very sexy, and the voice is off-putting.

It's a Darkest Dungeon-ispired dungeon crawler. The combat and most other gameplay mechanics are generally ripped from that game. Considering the game it's based on is very solid, I would consider that a positive, but one would be right to say it's unoriginal. The lewd aspects of the game are well integrated with the gameplay, which I would consider the most important objective of a porn game. The forced classes as a corruption mechanic is an interesting twist that works really well in most cases. The dev has a really good track record for continuing to add content, so I look forward to future updates.

The paperdoll art is serviceable, and since the vast majority of games on this site are, in my opinion, horrendous-looking 3D gobbo models, I cannot reasonably hold the art against this game. There isn't really any actual sex in the game (yet). It's mostly nudity, bondage, and corruption that are the main attractions.

Still has a ways to go as of this review (Alpha 2.6.2), but shows promise.

+The DD-type system works well for corruption and cursed gear mechanics.
+Already contains the groundwork for a decent variety of fetish content. If the dev can restrain feature creep to a reasonable degree going forward, and focus on enhancing the best aspects of the game, it could end up with a lot of depth and replayability.
+Dev has been active in development so far, and it's not their first game.

Alpha 2.6.2 review:

There's serious balancing issues here. Instead of an XP system, characters need to check off randomly generated personal quests in a dungeon to level up. While this is a cute idea, both the amount required and the difficulty of the quests increase. It also raises the difficulty threshold of the dungeon needed to advance these quests (novice need novice level dungeons, etc.)

In practice this is a time sink nightmare. Any sense of progression often stops for long periods at a time. This is also especially heinous when a major mechanic is when enemies force fetish gear on your characters - hot! - which enforces a new class on them until they reach a minimum level in that new class. Your Elite Cleric can become a Level 1 Prisoner in just one very unlucky turn, and it will take about two hours of grinding to change them back because of this scale-creep.

As well, the dev is excellent at portraying a wide variety of fetish content, but very poor at conveying the appeal, psychology or eroticism of the fetishes. It's just the surface level aesthetics without engaging further. For all the ideas of extreme content on display, without that deeper engagement I came away from this dev's work with a feeling this is a kind of Fisher Price of fetish content.

In Darkest Dungeon, the characters have text dialogue popups and speech balloons where they comment on what's happening to them and personalize the character. Just implementing that would be the best simple change this game could make, in my opinion. I don't count the narrator in this.

As well, keeping the required amount of completed quests for level up to being a consistent 2 or 3 would massively improve the pacing of the content, allowing the dungeon difficulty and the challenges becoming harder to be the significant factor.

Finally, more consistent rolls on enemy variety would be really appreciated. I don't mean there need to be more enemy types in the game, I just mean that the existing enemy types need to be more consistently randomized so I'm not stuck fighting Ratkin all the time.

tl;dr Fleshed-out Darkest Dungeon experience with cursed loot, lewds, and personality. Some things aren't fully implemented, there are bugs, and the balance can feel easy if you play well, but Madodev develops at the speed of light and is very responsive to feedback.

I've been following this game for some time now, and I'm once again amazed by how quickly and how well Madodev develops games. Don't let the alpha designation fool you - this isn't a "proof of concept" with 5 minutes of content, but an enjoyable and well fleshed out experience with substantially more to come.

The good:

• Combat is based on Darkest Dungeon and implemented well.
• There's build variety based on traits, lewd crests, items, and skills. In a porn game.
• Cursed loot is a major feature, and cursed items are both interesting and even desirable for some builds.
• There's a lot of personality in this game, both in the art and the narrator dialogue.
• Good lewds. There's something wonderful about an adventurer putting on a Belt of Giant Strength just to find out it was a Chastity Belt of Denial.

The Bad (for now):

• Some UX/Quality of Life issues. There has been a lot of improvement over time, but some interface elements can be a bit unintuitive and can take some getting used to.
• The game often feels too easy if you play well. A simple party of tank + cleric + 2x damage dealers can easily deal with appropriate difficulty content, and if you start optimizing with quirks and items, you can end up trivializing combat.
• Some game systems are not fully implemented or are underused (e.g. Lewd Crests are difficult to advance - a single weak enemy can do it if your character is over 50 lust. Curios were removed and IIRC will be re-added once personalities are implemented).

Keep an eye on this one. It's great, and I'm sure it'll become incredible.

All those porn mods of DD - but now an actual game. Very solid from gameplay perspective or if you want a full team of latex warriors. Sadly dev still has this tendency of going just a little too much from what general populace accepts as comfortable, best described as "Yes, yes, yes, YES, uhh, why"

well, it's been a bit, might as well support the dev. so far it's still fairly early in the alpha stages, but what content is here is worth supporting I'd say. if you liked the horny mods for DD just imagine what a game like DD designed with porn in mind would be like!

I have been playing this for a while on itch throughout its development , and it just keeps getting better! Lewd Darkest Dungeons as it says on the tin, the combat system is very well thought out, and the dev has been quick to fix bugs and oversights, as well as delivering new content at a steady pace.

Gameplay: The main loop of going in a dungeon, looting resources, upgrading, and going in a stronger dungeon already works well and keeps improving. Actually interesting to play, and this will probably keep getting better and deeper.

Lewds: Equipment and conditions are well represented graphically, and I think it's the focus of the lewdness in the game. Not all that much CG otherwise, but what is there fits the overall focus of curses and corruption well. If you dislike getting fucked by a dog you should just git gud.

Music: 1 song for combat. Same song as the sole combat song from Madodevs earlier game. Help. (Edit: Apparently new music is on the way!)

Overall, definitely worth checking out if you're into the themes (and lewd games with actual gameplay) and ABSOLUTELY worth keeping an eye on!
