Error when opening a game in a new folder

Hi All,

I recently moved my renpy collection to a new folder within the same drive, now when I try to open any of my games I get this error message:

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
While parsing E:\Games\a......

Has anyone had the same experience? did you resolve it?

Probably, but you cut the traceback right before the part that could permit to answer this question.

The only significant information in what you said is that the error happen during the parsing, what, by default, point to an error in the code of the game.

The file in "game/tl/None/common.rpym" isn't encoded in UTF-8, preventing its opening.

Why, and why just it, is a mystery, but it's the reason of the issue you have.
