First possiblility since it's a recent issue would be an issue caused by an OS update (assuming you've had one recently). In that case I'd see if you can rollback the update (I think this is normally done by using a restore point but you might want to look into it a bit more cuz I'm not completely sure) or reinstall the update and it'll most likely fix the problem.

The other option that comes to mind is if the permissions were somehow changed in the save directory which would prevent renpy from saving there. The location itself will depend on what OS you're on. For Windows it's in %APPDATA%/RenPy for mac it's ~/Library/RenPy and for linux it's ~/.renpy

Regardless of which OS, check the permissions for the renpy folder and the folder above it to make sure there's both read and write access for it. Also make sure your antivirus isn't blocking renpy from reading and writing because I've had that before with just my desktop folder and hadn't realized because I had my antivirus in silent mode.

AnimeKing314 OK. I tried all the solutions you presented me, and first of all I want to thank you for your availability.
my OS is Win10,no problem, also everything ok with permissions so i tried to change the location of the game and apparently the problem seems to be solved.
grateful
