Let me preface this first - I'm not a FUTA guy, what so ever. Never ever thought I'd even indulge a VN with futa content in my life...but if there were ever a good exception to make, Eruption Imminent is DEFINITELY the one.


Very good writing, layered and multidimensional characters, hot sex scenes.
This is an easy recommend, even if you aren't a futa fan a game like this could easily convert or pursuade you, it's THAT high quality. Also, you can just avoid all the futa paths and stick with the "regular" girls.

--Points I love about the game.--

- Has a good amount of mystique and drama in the right places, makes one invested.

-Characters aren't one dimensional and are interesting.

- Plenty of different body types and variety in LI's.

- Good, clean renders.

- Instead of the usual janky looped animations for sex scenes, this game is 100% render only and I MUCH prefer that to the former. If any project has proven you DON'T need animations to make sex scenes hot, it's this one. The dialogue and still images are nut-busting enough.

- Setting is unique, female only universe. Well atleast to me it is unique, this is the first and probably only futa themed game I have and will ever play, unless another one of this magnitude and quality appears then...perhaps.

--Things that bother me --

- "Ms X"- Just not a fan of the MC being blackmailed by some mysterious person who seems to be everywhere all at once conveniently and somehow knows everything the MC is doing and all about her, and also normally if there's blackmailing content I prefer to be the one doing it. After the end of this current update, it seems like it was all trite anyway, because some dumb ugly bitch reveals the MC's secret to everyone regardless. Hopefully that means the end of this Ms X blackmailing stuff because I feel it's dragging on a bit, and is far-fetched.

- There could be a bit more player input more regularly in dialogues, but this story is so well written that I don't mind there isn't as much of it.

- Be prepared for painful cliffhangers and to wait a while ;(

So yeah, I definitely recommend. There is something for everyone in this!

Really excellent characters. Hot. Kinky. Flawed. Better than average renders. Good story. I do wish it was more mix and match instead of specific paths. But other than the MC not being able to get railed by the cop while being balls deep in Lexi, I have no notes. 5 stars.

More like a kinetic novel, lost me after the first and forced sex scene what killed the whole plot and also wasted too much of my time before... However not the worst game I played also it have quality ut i am not an futa fan also not harem style lover.

If you like Futa pretty much you're going to love this game. No animations only still but it is what it is. Fun story, but what I like most is the branching. You can choose to be a Kitten (sub), a Dom, or a Cuck. Played up to the recent update and genuinely a fun time. We'll see what happens in another year for the next chapter

I never thought I'd like a futa game this much, but it's just quality here.

Graphics are nice, the girls have variety and most importantly the MC looks cute and sexy, which is always important with a "female" MC. There are also a few good curvy MILFs.

The story finds a good balance between drama and the sexy scenes. I normally prefer the focus more on the sex as I don't like the melodramatic sad parts (I play to jerk off after all), but I admit that those are necessary for the deepness of the story here. The choices are a bit scarce at the beginning, but the further the story goes the more important and more plenty the choices get.

As with most games I miss a bit of the more kinkier stuff here, but it's not purely vanilla either. I also miss a few body piercings as there seem to be plenty of facial piercings and tattoos in the game, but this is purely superficial criticism.

This is written at the end of chapter 6 and thus at the biggest cliffhanger the game has until now. I'm very excited to see where this will go in the next chapter.

I'll admit it. I gave it a go with low expectations since there's nothing new under the sun over the summary. So I'm problably a bit biased when I say that it delivers more than anyone could expect.

The writting is pretty good, a dialogue starts, there's no delve into plain skippable mumble jumbo, it tells what it needs to be said and we're hit with enough baggage to the next one. In a world filled with AI, simple stuff warms my heart.

The dev had an idea of an altenative world and then wrote about it under a good novel story. I can't recommend it enough if what you're looking for is a good drama, comic situations and a lot of gimmics to make you wish the world was OnlyFutas.

As long as futa genre is smth you like, the game is easily 5/5.

I generally hesitate rating a game before it's complete, but gods damn this is immensely well done. Almost unconstested in my view of Futa Protagonist games with only Having a Hard time as a possible contender for best of the genre.

Can't wait for the next update, brilliant characters, world and drama.

One of the best futanari visual novels out there, hands down. The Authors are pretty active sharing and updating their supporters, and each chapter, depending on how fast you read or skip, can reach up to 2 hours of pure content goodness.

This is another game that surprised me. I went in expecting it to be decent, but it turned out to be really good. Yes, the MC is flawed, but it felt realistic to me. I saw some other reviewers complaining about how she behaves, but I didn't have a problem with it. It's one of the few games that kept me wanting to keep playing just to see what happened next.

In any case, I very much enjoyed this --the story has been great, the writing is great, the models are fantastic. Overall it's a really good game and I'm genuinely excited to see where it goes. Great job, dev!

Holy shit this game is pretty bad.

You're a futa MC who is quite possibly one of the stupidest, and horniest people I've ever seen or played as who has zero self control. As well as the most anxious. It's pretty ridiculous. I could only get as far as the MC jerking it in the bathroom of another person's apartment but somehow they didn't lock the door. Then also didn't say anything when another person walks in, and instead runs into the shower to hide. Had to turn it off.

Then she also does things that would get them imprisoned which is bad but they're so submissive and a push-over that it makes it 10 times worst because they get off because plot armor. If she was dominant, I could understand and that could be weaved into why she never gets in trouble (at least from what I played).

For example: she once again gets too horny at a beach (why she went when she knows how horny she is once again tells how stupid she is.) has to run to the bathroom to jerk off, somehow runs into another character, falls on the ground on top of them and instead of just getting up, is so horny that she humps this character to ejaculation. She knows this character as it is her teacher (or previous teacher, I can't remember.) But we as the player have quite literally JUST met this character. So what happens then? The woman freaks out? Yells at her? Nope. She doesn't even recognize the MC nor addresses the cum on her leg and the MC walks off. Literally no consequence. Meanwhile the MC is still an anxious mess.

Then there's an incident that happened between MC and their sister. Referred to as "that thing". Either reveal it soon after or don't bring the shit up at all cause that's just a bad writing attempt to create suspense and tension. Referring it that "that thing" even in their own thoughts is just bad writing at that point. Which I assume is related to a recurring nightmare the MC keeps having.

Everyone looks good. That's it for the good in my opinion. The only way I'd play this ever again if there are choices from the beginning that you can make for a dominate MC. An actual dominant MC too. But then you'd have to overhaul the entire character.

I'd be fine with all of this if the game didn't try to take itself seriously but it does. That's where the issue starts.

If you hate pushover MCs, avoid
If you hate overly horny MCs with no self-control, avoid
If you hate bad writing in a game meant to be serious, avoid.

Pros: Everyone looks good. Scenes from what I had seen are good too. But no animations.
Cons: Idiotic, pushover MC who is also too horny to function. No consequence for criminal acts even though there are police in the game. Bad writing

An AVN where men just don't exist at all felt really weird; the world felt like some kind of feminist utopia. I had assumed that the absence of creepy, pervert men would be keenly felt, or that the ntr route wouldn't evoke strong feelings since it would just be girls doing girly things, but I stood corrected by the well written characters. The pacing is great; I never once felt it get boring.

The main thing that drew me to play it was expectations of encountering some depraved scenes. Aside from one notable exception, the smut scenes were pretty vanilla, but I'm reserving my judgement as the story still seems to be in its early phase and the party is just getting started (both figuratively and literally). Also, the planned tags show promise.

The H-scenes were quite short and would benefit greatly from the inclusion of more dirty talk and dynamic pose changes during sex, both of which were lacking. I didn't mind the absence of animations. I really loved the selection of lewd SFX.

I'm not one for reading VNs with female protagonists, and futa protagonists weren't on my radar either. but this is the second VN with a futa prot. I have to say, I'm really enjoying this, way more than I thought I would. The story is great, at its current stop, it leaves me waiting for the next episode impatiently. Not like many other VNs.

If you are not a fan of futa/trans protagonists, I'd suggest you put that portion out of your brain and just play this for the story. Personally, this dev put a lot more creative writing into this that most others have.

If this current stop is like any of the previous stop, this dev definitely knows how to end at a cliffhanger, which I enjoy.

The renders are amazing, the characters each have their own personalities each with their own quirks and flaws which is a major plus.

All in all, give this a try even if you're not a fan of futa protagonists, set aside that barrier just for the storytelling alone.

Okay so, Eruption Imminent totally caught me off guard. I booted it up expecting a pretty gallery with some hot scenes and instead got… an actual story that made me care?? You play Ashe, a 20-year-old futanari who’s basically a walking ball of nerves, boring job, zero romantic experience, just kinda drifting through life, and then bam, the past comes knocking, secrets start spilling, and suddenly her life is this chaotic mix of emotional gut punches, awkward tension, and yeah, really hot scenes.

What makes it work is the characters. They don’t feel like “porn game NPCs” whose only purpose is to get naked, they’re actual people with quirks, moods, and motives. Ashe especially feels real: insecure, messy, oddly endearing. The way some relationships are complicated and not always tidy makes the steamy parts hit way harder, because you actually care what’s happening between them.

The worldbuilding’s also way cooler than I expected. It’s this women-only world (plus futas), and instead of just being a gimmick, it ties into themes about identity, stigma, and belonging without ever feeling like the game’s preaching at you. The writing’s sharp, dialogue feels natural, and the pacing is addictive, constant “just one more scene” energy.

Visually? Gorgeous. Lighting, posing, camera work, chef’s kiss. The music fits perfectly, and the little QoL touches (rename MC, hints, skippable recaps) make replaying easy. The dev’s clearly active, with each update bringing a ton of new renders, polish, and tracks.

If I have one small gripe, it’s that the route/choice system can feel a bit fiddly if you’re trying to min-max a very specific playthrough, but honestly, that’s nitpicking. This is one of those rare adult VNs where the story, characters, and NSFW scenes actually make each other better. If you like story-driven adult games with emotional punch and gorgeous art, it’s absolutely worth your time.

The game is pretty story focused imo. They came up with an interesting world where instead of men and women there are Futas and women with the rare Duplo who have both sexes. The world uses Duplos as an analogy to minority people in some way, and I think it does a decent job at that. I thought that the plot was pretty great until they got to the Sub/Dom path decision. I don't really understand why anyone would want to be a sub futa, and

People praising the "Lore" in this game like it's fucking Dune crack me up. If you've played any game on this site where you're a male MC trying to bang his family, his friends, his friends moms, his teachers, the FUTA at the gym etc. you've played this game already. The only difference here is MC is a FUTA and more than one of the other characters is as well. MC blunders from one porn contrivance to the next wondering how it's all happening like this and the answer is because she's a moron. If this is your first game on the site you could do a lot worse but it absolutely isn't the second coming (ayooooo) that some reviewers would have you believe.

While I haven't gotten too far into the game, I am absolutely blown away by the quality of the writing. I don't care what you're into, the characters in this game behave like actual human beings and have actual, logical motivations for what they do. That puts it above 99.9% of games here. Some of Ashe's reactions, especially some of her anxiety related moments felt incredibly true to life. It makes the highs a lot higher when the lows feel genuine. Really impressed.

I always like the fact that you can choose the FMC personnality, I only tried the dom one (Siren) but really curious about the rest. Beautifull render, great characters, it's a top one for me !

EDIT : I played the two other routes, Sub/kitten one is great, real cute too. Less fan of the cukkqueen one since it seem (it's not new, the dev got us a fair warning) more into netorare than netorase. Way less my thing but hey, people who like it will enjoy thoses scenes I believe.

Great looking characters, great use of "camera" to view the characters, great writing that makes the characters feel like real people and not just plot devices that lead to sex scenes. I like the diversity of aesthetics too

3/5 as a kinetic novel, 2/5 as a game.
This game is an overrated and uninspired soap opera for the better part, which doesn't do any favours for the few good ideas that found their way in. Expect unfinished sentences, information not shared, interrupted scenes, dumb decisions, plot contrivances and drama drawn out by unnatural means among all other cheap tricks found in the book, presented in a mostly linear fashion where your choices don't exactly impact the story the author wants to tell.

The game's setting is a fictional, modern day world where men quite literally don't exist for some reason (which I don't remember ever being explained away, and also carries thematic problems but whatever). They got 3 sexes: Chicks with pussies, Chicks with dicks (à la "men"), and the elusive "duplos" who are chicks with both sets of reproductive organs, who are somewhat vilified and ostracized for being sex-crazed, cheating bimbos. Which the game unintentionally and completely validates through MC's behaviour...while also kinda invalidating it through the actions of other characters who act the same despite not being "duplos", because MC has to be pitied I guess, even at the cost of consistency.

The story is a largely kinetic slice-of-life which follows one such "duplo", the MC, living her post-highschool life focused on nothing in particular, filled with often easily avoidable drama. Her life, and thus the story is driven by clichés you'd expect from a porn game, such as massages gone erotic, doors left unlocked, getting caught, blackmailed, and a prevalent virgin MC who pops a boner at the mere mention or sight of...well, anything even remotely sexual regardless of context.
And while the twist that this time around it's a chick popping said boners is certainly underused, it really doesn't do much to set her apart from "one of those" cliché virgin MCs.

Oh, and there's also a forced pseudo"mystery" or two about MC's past which is brought up multiple times like it's a form of art, but the keywords are just blatantly omitted to invoke a feeling of mystery. No, it's not mysterious if the MC is literally explaining, in an internal monologue TO THE PLAYER, how THAT thing changed everything, without spelling out what THAT thing is. It's an annoying waste of time inserted in the most inorganic, amateurish fashion possible that turns "not knowing about shit" to "not knowing shit about it" which shouldn't be confused with mystery or development.

I honestly do not understand people raving about how great the story is, because while certain interesting topic are definitely touched upon, directions are taken, and things are executed in a more realistic and/or interesting fashion, generally speaking every such scene is preceded and followed by multiple poorly done, uninspired, idiotic, cliché turning points, which collectively overshadow any greatness it occasionally manages to achieve, rendering the final product mediocre roller-coaster of quality at best.

Out of all the characters, MC is hands-down and by far the most offensive. We learn that her being a "duplo" is a close-guarded secret nobody except like 2 people know about, then we're presented a slideshow (that is the game) that really tests the limits of our suspension of disbelief, because MC is not only just the most submissive, spineless doormat who folds like a lubricated lawn chair at the lightest touch, but she is also the undefeated queen of stupid who's controlled by her raging boner, who constantly manages to get herself into situations where, among other things, her oh-so-closely guarded secret could be learned (which does actually happen).

But her secret coming to light is just one (annoying) outcome of many possibilities. Some of the choices she makes could easily get her physically hurt, imprisoned, or on the off chance, even killed, not to mention all the relationships that could be so very easily ruined, so despite seemingly trying to avoid trouble and drama, she dives head-first into the dumbest fucking situations and it's only thanks to the protection of plot armor that nothing ever goes horribly, irreparably wrong for her.

Now, there's a reason for this shit, but I honestly don't know if it makes it better or worse: Her dumbass virgin doormat nature is quite literally needed, so that she may decide, or be convinced by other characters to partake in the story the author has in mind.

Later on, based on the limited choices we got, we get to pick a personality path that puts MC on a more submissive (physically impossible) path, a voyeur path, or a "dominant" path which is what I picked only to be unsurprised by the fact that it still leaves MC as a babbling submissive idiot because the story needs her to be one.

Other characters are largely one-note and cliché (dominant asshole, best friend, loving mother, dumb jock, misunderstood rich, annoying nympho ect) but generally it's either executed at least reasonably well, or just isn't focused on enough to manifest as a significant problem. It's unfortunate that so often the only way the author could get MC's story and other characters (and their personalities/stories) to be compatible was by rendering the MC a socially inept dumbass who just jumps into it.

Choices are few and largely meaningless, and while I'd like to say they determine whether or not you get a scene with characters you're interested in while in the process of paddling through the shallow story, that's not exactly the case either. While occasionally it does do just that, more often the outcome of scenes is forced on the player regardless of the player's choice, if a choice is even given in the first place.
This includes a character who's head-over-heels into MC where the author went above and beyond to avoid addressing it because it will be, at some point, an integral part of a subplot,
there's an unknown and (so far) completely irrelevant character you end up losing your virginity to (something that was made out to be a big deal for this 20-ish years old virgin, so it absolutely should've been left to the player's choice) because it's necessary for a subplot,
and there's also the choice of bending over to the blackmailer being forced on the player which is still being dragged out as of 0.5.1 despite being blatantly obvious who it is from, but let's drag it out more for cheap manufactured drama.
Then there's buying and taking drugs of unknown effects, doing drugs in public repeatedly even after getting caught, letting be used repeatedly, jerking off right next to totally-not-mom and many, many others, because...sigh, you get the idea.

Adult scenes are frequent if you include MC rubbing it out (because, seriously, she does that all the fucking time...) but quite infrequent if you exclude it because aside from being sexually assaulted in non-penetrative ways (more than once), MC won't get any action for quite a bit. The lack of action MC gets is substituted to the player with overly long, irrelevant dream sequences (but considering the story, that was absolutely not what I was interested in so it didn't win any cookie points from me), as well as a couple of voyeur scenes which are better because at least they're topical, but they don't really move the story forward either.

As for visuals: The renders look reasonably good, models were obviously made with care (though some ended up looking more like generic barbie dolls than others) and have a fair variety including most of the conventional body types/sizes and then some.
Animations are nonexistent, which I don't believe should be an issue given a substitute of well-made renders depicting the act (which is given), considering it makes development faster and especially if the alternative is choppy robotic animations which I think do more harm than good, so I applaud the choice to settle for renders.

As for audio: Characters aren't voiced at all,
sound effects are few and far between but adequate and anyway, not really necessary in the first place,
music is generic but okay for the most part, more importantly it's befitting the mood of scenes, and the existing lewd SFX I immediately turned off before even starting the game so I cannot speak of its quality, sorry.

Spelling/punctuation is flawless as far as I can tell (then again I'm no English major), it's definitely proof-read and corrected, which is like a breath of fresh air.

Overall, it's truly one of the futa games of all time.
Aside the issues of overused porn tropes made to either force the story onwards or prevent it from developing, there's a serious clash between the player's (lack of) choice and the MC's (rather the author's) choice, and considering it's supposed to be a GAME that also has no other game mechanics to speak of, that's a bit of a problem. Especially if the character doesn't even make understandable (if not rational) choices.
It's an unfortunate conceptual miscarriage wherein choices are given yet certain decisions simply HAVE to be forced down the player's throat, whether they like it or not, and no matter how stupid or contradictory they may be, giving the (dis)illusion of being in control as the "player", because otherwise the entire story just falls apart.

If you believe you can put up with the game's flaws and shortcomings having read about them, yeah I'd totally recommend playing it, sure.

But if you want the player controlled character with at least an average-ish intelligence and confidence, or the game to give you some level of control over the most significant decisions, then you'll probably suffer because MC does not reach that high and the author wants to tell this particular story.
