VN - Ren'Py - Eternum [v0.8.4] [Caribdis]

For me it's a OK game, but not to give 5 stars.

Graphic/Art
It's good to be 3D renders from a game engine . Good variety of environments . But you get the feeling all girls look little similar each to other. And at body level they don't differ too much either.

History
A good story inspired by films/anime but good at the end, and include jokes that sometimes are fun moments another a little meh but it's fine. It's more annoying that the excuse to girls love MC is because MC is handsome and this is a harem game.

Gameplay
It's quasi-linear . There aren't routes that leads you at certain point where you treat a girl in a way or other. Only you can get more o less scenes if you choose the correct answer in the dialogue. In addition in sex scenes are too little options.

One of the best WEG's I've played, if not the best. When you can enjoy the story without even needing the erotic/romance elements in it, you know it's a good game. Manages to introduce every character as being unique and lovable in their own right, alongside a gripping and engaging mystery that will have you on the edge of your seat.

This is so damn charming and genuinely fun!
High production value. Almost every render is spot-on and it's very own a piece of art. The girls are so cute and lovable. The story is immersive and highly entertaining. There are heart-warming and badass moments. The whole idea and concept is so well executed. It's astonishing how a dedicated person can get so incredibly much out of a Honey Select engine. My deepest respect.

Character design is marelous and varied. There is a girl for every taste I'd guess. Chances are, you will have a hard time deciding which lady's your favorite in terms of looks and personality. And as far as I've seen, you don't even have to pick. They are all beautiful and captivating in their own way.

This is one of those very rare and precious games I can think of that really suck you in and make you want so see more, experience more. In my eyes Eternum plays among the big ones, the very best. I am truly fond of it.

Thus I'd warmly recommend checking it out. As it might just work it's magic on you too.

Honestly have to say, even though i usually don't go for more anime style VN's, this has quickly become one of my all time favorites i had played so far. Great story, dialogue, all girls are very likeable, animations and renders are top notch. Props to Caribdis for delivering such an amazing experience

Tried playing a number after finishing this one... so far it has ruined every other game for me. It has everything. Story line, comedy, drama, suspense, sci-fi. I love the hs2 graphics, I'm serious when I say it has ruined everything else for me... I cannot find any others like it after 3 days now of searching.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. It's the consistently the top rated title on the site, and for good reason. If you're into AVNs, you need to play Eternum. Period.

The biggest nitpick I could make is that I wish it were a little less vanilla, but that's on me. Cardibis' previous title, Once in a Lifetime, is quite possibly my favorite AVN of all time, and leaned quite heavily into pregnancy and incest. I totally get and respect the attempt at making something with broader appeal.

But yeah, if you're a filthy degen like me, go check out their previous title as well. You'll even catch the occasional Easter Egg while playing Eternum.

Caribdis way of telling a story is extremeley epic.
Eternum has a great story with even better characters.
I admire his work and the attention to detail he puts in it. Thevirtual novel also doesnt missout on opportunites to be funny.Carbdis´ comedic style is obviously my type, which is why i really enjoy all the conversations in this game! Keep up the good work.

HOLY..... never a big fan of HS renders, since the backgrounds (or maps) tire my eyes pretty easily. But Eternum is really something. It blew my expectation. The render, the writing, the everything.
The interface are amazing. To some it may be something minor or insignificant . But to me it shows how much effort and details are being poured.
I giggled a lot because of the jokes, I love the references, nothing feels forced and everything fits the situation very well.
The story got me hooked. Sci-fi and fantasy themes aren't really my favorites, as bad writers often fill plot holes using the freedom of the theme to make the story makes more sense. But as far as I experienced Eternum, none.
The music is immersive. Enjoyed every part of it. I had a moment where I looked for music player in the UI because I want to know the track title and the artist.
The characters have their own charm. Even the minor ones feel like they deserve a side story for them. And for the main girls, they have their personalities, even if some of them are cliches but they're really enjoyable. I have my type, believe me, and I didn't have any favorite girl(s), but after the last H-scene... I guess Alex has the lead now.
Overall, I had a really really fun time experiencing Eternum. If there's anything lacking... that would be content xd. I want more. Love every part of it.

Where can i even begin... This game is an absolute must play for everyone and their mother, the story is enthralling, the characters are more than appealing, the overall design is immaculate and it helps to give you a sense of the creators vision, truly a masterpiece, i have never yet had the need to jump to someones patreon and pledge immediately, but i will now, and if the creator sees this, WE NEED A SEQUEL!!!!

This game is without a doubt deserving of the #1 spot on the ratings list. It has everything you could possibly want in an avn, plus an ambitious and captivating story (and world if you include Eternum itself) to continously provide the player with an exciting adventure. The effort and dedication the dev/s put into the game is glaringly obvious and at times leaves you seriously impressed. Can not recommend this enough.

My god the female characters in this game look hot. These are THE best character renders i've seen, barring maybe some Overwatch SFM stuff.

The story is interesting, but I'd be honest that I scanned through most briefly, but even doing that gave me an idea of the story.

All in all, I heavily recommend playing this. The choices matter but you'd prolly only want the best choices given that they don't seem to have downsides. I recommend having the walkthrough open if you want to breeze through and enjoy the art.

Best AVN ever, hot girls, amazing and entertaining concept, good graphics, good dialogue. Nothing will ever top it. It's like he took everything that was great from Once in a Lifetime and improved it 10 fold. The updates are also faster than a majority of developers, especially with this quality.

0.7 Update Review: Just when you thought it couldn't get better, it tops itself. The amount of quality animations the developer made for this update is absolutely insane, the past 4 scenes have easily been the best on this site that I can say I've seen. Not to mention the graphics are even better than before, the visuals and lighting have clearly improved and it looks amazing. The story only gets more interesting as it progresses, especially after the nail biting cliffhanger, I can legitimately say that I would still play the game at this point even if there were no more sex scenes, thats how good the story is. Thankfully this developer is also extremely timely for the amount of effort you can tell he puts in, so we wont have to wait as long for new updates. Even though his game is one of the top rated games on the site, he continues to compete against himself and try to make something even better, which is clearly why his work is so successful. He should be proud he is setting a higher and greater bar for the genre, cant wait for the next update.

Definitely the best game I've played, the story is well written as it progresses just as good.
The references are great, the characters all have their own personality, I also liked that the character information appears favorite movies that says a lot about the personality of each, what else to say is simply a masterpiece.

Holy shit!
This is by far the most interesting, most compelling and absolutely fantastic narrative ever - twists and turns keeps the game unpredictable while unravelling an enormous and almost analogous the real world - with a meta grip on tropes and ... Thats just the story and writing.

The models are cute as heck and while this isn't a sex fest, the sex is steamy and non-linear - you don't necessarily hold hands with a girl before you kiss her before you see her naked body etc etc. Hot stuff happens, and not always as the characters envisioned. Did I mention that the sex scenes are sizzling hot? Well they are!

I played version 0.6.2. for the first time and for almost 16 hours straight, and I'm not yet at contents end for this version - its a *giant* story.

Special props to the sound guy, I'm not usually a fan of sound in VNs - but music is nice and the themed music is just on point.

To be fair, I've laughed and 'wowed' more than I've spanked, so far - so if you're not just looking for fast fapping material, give Eternum a try - its effing well-made.

BEST GAME EVER (in its category, but still BEST GAME EVER!)

Definitely THE BEST game I've ever played from F95. Simply a masterpiece.
The graphics are really really good, you can sense the incredible work put into the creation of all Kredons and Eternums scenery, backgrounds, etc.
The scenes and their animations are as good as it gets : lots of variations, really well animated and there's quite a bunch of them. Without spoiling, the story is INCREDIBLE and each chapter and storyline are exciting and fun. The group of characters is perfectly balanced, each one of them is super likeable. The MC is also pretty well written : he's not a loser nor a perfect super-hero. You actually appreciate to play as him, and you can truly sense his evolution with the pass of time.
Just finished playing the 0.6 version and I honestly feel empty like never before. I just wanna thank Caribdis and his team SO MUCH for their incredible work, and I hope that they'll take as much time as they need to make each update as enjoyable as the previous ones. I honestly wish it won't ever finish haha, I really grew attached to Eternum and its perfect characters

This is by far the most creative story I have ever seen in an AVN. The scope and concept are amazing. The mystery that unfolds as the story goes on is really interesting food for thought. The images aren't hyper-realistic, but they are very attractive, as are the models. (Obviously Honeyselect.) It does touch on some taboo topics, and allegedly wade into a couple of them, but it's relatively tame in that regard. The character development of each character is a little contrived, but then the whole point is that the MC is able to romance all of them. One of my top 10 all-time AVNs.
