I really like the writing. The characters are crazy enough to be interesting but not too crazy to be unrelatable.

I played Once in a lifetime first by the same developer (Caribdis). And that game didn't have the most original story (it was not bad but it wasn't the core strength and more like a tool for the good writing ). I realised the humor was well placed, there was enough exposition to get the player engaged but not too much to take away all of the mystery how characters develop or how the plot continues.


This applies to this game as well, but the story is more prominent this time.

And I was sceptical if I'd like this story, since it reminded me of which I didn't find enjoyable (maybe it was just too much animeesque for my liking) and I was pessimistic that anyone could do something good from this or a similar story idea. But I was wrong. Caribdis proved again that they know what they do when it comes to writing. So even if you disliked give this a try, they may have a similar core idea, but the execution is way better in this VN in my subjective opinion.

AMAZING story, great sex scenes.

If you like a game with a good story then this is for you. Doesn't have the most sexual content but the story is getting to a point where things are getting more sexual. The story is great and one of the only games where I didn't skip the text to get to the good stuff.

I played Once in a Lifetime before I even knew about F95Zone, and loving that one led me to Eternum. Oh BOY was that a good choice.

I'm loving the characters in this game, but even more the unlimited environment makes every new chapter a surprise that can't properly be prepared for.

On top of that, the story is still developing, and I can't wait to see where it goes. (Well, I can, 'cause I have to, but I don' wana!)

Came for the sex, stayed for the story.

The fantasy world, the mystery, the general narrative is really good.

Usually I go through games in a single day binge-playing. If they don't interest me that much, then I simply delete them. With this one I stuck for several days. I would play for a couple of hours and then move to something else. The lack of good sex was telling me to move on. But I wanted to learn more about the world and the story so I was returning to it for another day.

First and foremost it's supposed to be a sex game and the sex isn't good or frequent enough. The ratio is something like 94% story, 3% horror and 3% sex.

Sex scenes are very unbelievable, boring and not erotic. Generally the girls are reserved, virgins or otherwise clearly inhibited. But sex time comes and they suddenly become sluts experienced in giving head and whatnot. The dialogue during them is pretty average as well.

The buildup or transitions to sex scenes are not good. We are invested in the story, something important happening and out of the blue its sex time... I wanted to get back to the mystery around Eternum asap every time. Wanted to skip every sex scene I was so turned off. But I still forced myself to read through them since they are just 3% of total game after all.

I'd rate this 1 or 2 stars as a sex game. I'd rate it 4-5 as a SAO-like VN. Rating it 3 to make the average.

This game is just frickin awesome. Nothing but love for it! The renders are great, the girls look really cute. The writing is spot on, and has some very nice humor sprinkled in. Definitly one of the best. Can't recommend this one enough!

Eternum reaches far further than other games I've played. Carabdis is certainly an ambitious visionary who puts a lot of thought into fine detail and this is clearly reflected in the game.

With a respectable collection of character interactions, development, and progression, and a GENUINELY attaching story, Eternum will keep you absorbed in a way which other games fall short.

With the sequence of events occurring with meaning and purpose, every character receiving a respectable amount of attention and content, and every setting bringing forth a unique and captivating locality which draws elements from sci-fi, fantasy, and modern high school themes with its own creative Eternum flair, this game is simply in its own superior calibre.

With less than half the game in its completion, and evidently swift progression from the development team, this is definitely THE game to play right now, and Carabdis is definitely THE developer to keep eyes on.

Great renders, cute girls with fleshed-out personalities, captivating story, always excited for the next update. Once in a Lifetime is also amazing and hilarious, if you're looking for more from the same developer.

Caribdis is certainly one of these world class talent that happens to circumstantially be working on a porn game. Story and characterization is perfectly on point, with doses of blending humor, drama and wonder all around, you actually care about the protagonists, as all of them plays on different charms. It plays on the Ready Player One, SAO troupe, but is so well thought that stands itself as a really good story you can enjoy every part as you immerse yourself in its own uniqueness of an unbound world. Certainly one of the GOATs already.

story: 4/5 It's really excellent, a mix of lots of different genres, everything very well balanced, moreover the writing is very good even if there are some slight lengths

characters: 10/5 They are all superbly done, there isn't a single character in the whole game that I didn't find perfectly done!

sex scene: 3/5 They are clearly superbly successful, super erotic and of a perfect length, taken one by one, I would have clearly given 5/5, unfortunately, I find that they are too late, especially with this quality, I would have liked a lot more to the point that I really can't put more than 3 just for this reason

renders: 4/5 I needed a little time to adapt to get used to this rendering, but soon enough, I found them quite successful, especially since the environments are very beautiful and the details are not lacking

animation: 5/5 They are really very beautiful, even the "little" "funny" animations are really successful, be careful however there are some at certain times which have a little too fast fps

sound: They are there all along and very well done!

gameplay: 4/5 We are asked enough

Absolutely amazing game! Love the diversity in characters and they are all so god damn lovable. The best adult VN out there! Nova and Luna has to be best girls, but annie is so damn cute with everything she says. Amazing renders and animation as well.

Really like the art style and story behind the visual novel. Characters seemed to have their own personalities, which were quite different from each other, which is a bonus point in my eyes. I personally just had a slight problem with the relationship meter thing in the top left corner, that reachted when choosing the right option with certain characters. For me personally it felt like my choices didnt have an affect on the story or relationship with the certain character at all. Also some decision made me feel like there is no point in declining the offers (when the players get asked if he wants to participate in an activity for example). When I say no there is no alternative plot as far as i could see, so I didnt feel any desire to decline any others bc it simply provided me with less content. In general I was still enjoying the novel.

A deep (-er than expected, if you aren't used to Carbidis's games) experience which does an amazing job getting you to attach to the characters. Caribdis simply can't disappoint. Sci-fi elements, many questions to ask, a cast of characters who are each truly unique (even if there are SOME of the usual tropes mixed in there), and a soundtrack that buries you RIGHT into the scene. Strongly recommend.

Great music and sound effects. Renders and animations are pretty good. All the girls have nice proportions and different loveable personalities but the faces arent attractive to me at ALL and they all have the same face (honey select problem)

So far the story is pretty engaging but my big problem is that theres really no decisions that changes the "story" or playthrough. theres really no reason to play it again if you on the harem route, all choices has basically been to earn points for li for their route. what i strongly dislike is that theres sooo many fake choices

Example Luna Lan Party - you want to go? I choose no, well damn Orion goes there anyway and ask the sisters to stay your first day, well they leave anyway

dont want to jump in eternum, nah you get pushed anyway.

and the Harem/being to fuck everyone and everyone falls for you really kills the romance vibe and routes.

Had high expectations for this game, considering its rated #1 and everybody says its the best game ever. But to me it doesnt live up to that billing

Overrated

I play some page games so far but Eternum is something different. I like to play not only because of the sex scene but also because of the story of the game, which is really interesting and now I am waiting for a new update more because of the progress of the story than because of the sex scenes, and obviously the animation is excellent.
Secondly the world, the music, the art of the game is just a plus but and is just as great as the previous

Just played OiaL and I can tell that this creator never miss. Both games are masterpieces. Humour always on point, at a level that I catch myself laughing and loosing focus. But for sure the story on both games are the BEST thing.

what i always love from caribdis game is the comedy, humorous lines which totally my cup of tea and makes the story more captivating. It only leave me fear of cliffhanger cause its game in progress, fear i only rarely feel from pretty good games, fear that makes me slow down reading and enjoy every words written, fear that stopped me play the earliest version cause i know it will be awesome but im suck in waiting.

The pacing is perfect, the tease, and the conquest are all perfect, all makes me crave for more. the MMO theme adds huge diversity in moments environment, you can jump from beach to medieval to desert even to space background without worrying too much on the logic behind cause it all happens in fantasy game.

If you have spare penny left and happen to love vn i suggest to support these awesome guys behind this superb games. May all of you caribdis team stay healthy and keep motivated to continue developing the game so we can continue getting steady updates and more awesome content.

Holy fucking shit, this game is awesome!

For starters, the renders are of the highest quality. The character all look awesome, and you can see that they paid attention to every single one, not just the main ones. Not only they've got the most fitting looks, they also have personalities and are well written.

Writing is also another aspect that deserves its praise. The story is very engaging, with perfect pacing and balancing of tones - the humor, the references, the more serious and somber moments, all on point.

Kudos to everyone working on it!

This. Game. Is. Amazing.

I don't think I could ever say this about a single other porn game I have ever played, but I am confident I would enjoy Eternum even without the porn. I mean, I like it better with the porn, but I honestly believe I would have fun clicking through this story even if it wasn't there. It's that damn incredible.

The best part for me? I would not say that this game is, first and foremost, a comedy game, but this game has made me laugh longer and harder than I have in months, maybe even years. And yet still, parts of the game feel truly heart-warming, suspenseful, action-packed, and even scary at times.

When I first took notice of this game I thought the whole "multiple worlds" thing would just be a gimmick to try and cover up a shallow story, but it is exactly the opposite. Each world is beautifully rendered, and the story feels like it is tying everything together in ways I never expected. All the girls are well designed as well, and their personalities really seem to pop in unique ways.

Honestly the only thing I could think someone might find wrong with the game is the pop culture references. I feel, however, that they do not feel out of place at all, and a late story on the space station makes me believe there is a deeper purpose to those references.

Truly an amazing creation.

The concept of a game within a game is excellent and surprisingly immersive - I'm sure everyone that plays this yearns to play the in-game Eternum for real. (Not to mention it's a very clever way of knitting a diverse range of random assets together!) As with Once in a Lifetime, the writing is very good, there's some humour thrown in and the girls are great.
