Finished! Now I'm finally gonna play the v0.9 update lol (without the incest mod first) and then I'll come back to check on new updates for the mod.

OK sounds good might become an option but that sounds realy hard to keep track of same offer as the others you can do it yourself or wait for me to get my hands free. But thanks for the sugestion :)
Yeah, I was just throwing out an idea; I understand that it's impractical to rewrite things based on one suggestion. I really like my idea, though. Maybe I'll try editing your mod myself, but I'll have to learn how to mod RenPy from scratch. Any pointers for resources/tutorials to get started on a project like this?

You can just open my mod the rpy files in there are comments how things work and wich maps you have to use, you can always ask me for help and you can use AI like chatgpt it is good at python stuff. If you whant i can add a new map for your Idea and uploade it you them only hav to find strings in the game so what is said and then deit them for Inspiration you can look at the newest post of BlueArrow it is shown there how to do it.

Your efforts are much appreciated...I would have gone through the same kind of proofreading you're doing, but lack of time, so appreciate you doing the effort :)

I'm going through the rpy files right now trying to make sense of it. It would be great if you could add a new map for me to edit so I don't make a mistake and break something else. Thanks!

I've attached the modified rpy file below. It worked when I tested it, so you should be able to just copy paste the whole section to replace it. If something goes wrong, let me know and I can try give you a changelog instead so you can redo the code yourself.

The lable change you made is a bit bugged I am gona look over it and see what the problems are for the time being I will use the old one.

So I grabbed the new v1.1.0.0 to check it out myself, and I think it might actually have to do with the changes in IncestMod.rpy file (maybe all the new map additions?). Even without my changes, "label mod_call_chat_21" and "welcome_mod" (both part of the Annie sister path) don't show up.

The telltale signs are "bro" and "sis" revert back to "mc" and "Annie" a few times when they first arrive at Nancy's house without the welcome mod, and the image of Annie pointing at her dad shows up again in the flashback without the label mod.

"daliacove_mod" label seems to still work fine.

If there is one, it would ask whether the new version should be installed. If confirmed, the mod would update itself automatically, so you no longer have to manually install and replace the mod.


I wanted to ask what you think about this idea.

Would be more convenient right now since we're frequently updating the mod, but I also personally dislike having something that automatically connects online... I'd say I'm neutral on having such a feature.



Side note: playing through v0.9, there's definitely gonna be a lot to work on, especially in the holiday section :BootyTime: How the heck did you crunch out an update for it so fast at release lmao

Also, so glad I replayed the game through working on this mod or I would've failed the elf lore test :KEK:

It would be pretty funny to add an absurd incest side plot for Chang. Micaela is his long-lost twin sister who was shipwrecked as an infant, washed up and rescued in America, and adopted by the Garcias. Just an example :p

I think it's good idea. But I agree with BlueArrow that autmaticaly connect to internet is not good feature for some people.
So I think best middle ground is to add choice to 'Options/Preferences' to allow autoupdate with default set to 'Off' and maybe ask player if they want to enable it when starting new game or just inform them of that possibility.

Seems to lag the game down a bit. I have the Multi mod installed also. anyone else notice this?

Got an error on new game start.

Edit: I think this may be the first incest mod I skip...at least til the ONLY Annie part is functioning. Having them call each other bro and sis at every single interaction is too much. Once in a while...especially during a scene or a conflicted inner monologue would be cool, but all the time...don't like it.

Finished playing v0.9 and will be starting my proofread of it soon, but first used a text compare tool between v1.0.1 (the last mod I used) and the latest v1.2.0 to see what changed. Found a few smallish fixes I'd like you to implement (mainly as an excuse to test the new update feature, not gonna lie :ROFLMAO:)

I dug around and it has to do with how Caribdis renders some things It can happen if you have a extra mod like Universal Ren'Py Mod / URM installed or something different. My advice start a game with as few mods Installed as posible and after the start is done save and reinstall other mods then you can load that save and play it like normal. Multi Mod is tested and works.
I've also got the same error and it's indeed caused by some weird interaction between URM and this mod. Because when I remove either one, the game start just fine.

Also I have another question, what mod do I need to show me color of the choices in mod modified menus ? I've found mention of CCMOD in files, but heave no idea which mod is it supposed to be.

Can You add warning about URM and the color mod to the first post ?

The colors are a walk through and are compatability for Multimod
