We are excited to introduce Ethernar: Chaos Beginning, a derivative cum-bait game that combines copy pasted 3D assets with paywalled content, and regurgitated pornplots. Unlike most adult games, which tend to be 2D visual novels, we've raised the bar by creating an tedious, grindy, sexless padding to our universe that ensures only the most gullible wallets opens up to a new world of being milked.

I don't know which bar they think they're raising - these graphics would've been considered outdated/low quality 2 decades ago.

The rest of the game is just as bad: poor writing, generic gameplay, and barely any content. Or free content, that is. This is advertised as "pre-alpha", yet somehow already features paywalled content.

Avoid this - there are tons of red flags:
    • corpo-speak marketing
    • bot/alt account 5-star reviews (removed now, but there were a couple on release date)
    • self-advertised "groundbreaking adult-themed" game that tries to do 3D RPG from a developer that has no history
    • release in a barely playable state with patreon-gated that has terrible gameplay, but good enough graphics to entice naive supporters

    Review for first release(v0.01):

    Story:
I guess there is technically one. It's just so generic and poorly written that if someone told me an AI wrote it I wouldn't be surprised.
Man was having a good day -> Village get's set on fire -> all inhabitants bar the big titty spiritual leader get abducted to HELL -> go rescue them

    Visuals:
Servicable for the most part. Personally not a fan of this low poli style for a pornographic game. Animations are for the most part stiff and look rough (also this can be somewhat excused by the very early stage of development)

    Audio:
Again servicable. Really nothing worth commenting. A sword swing gives a whoosh sound. A wolf sounds like you'd imagine one

    Gameplay:
This version has to very short gameplay sequences
    1. a mouse button mash minigame to lift a wooden bar, which I am certain does not really look at your inputs.
    2. a short combat against a wolf pack. It's a rather standard hacking style combat.
    Left mouse: 3 strike combo.
    Right mouse: spin move.
The game has a very weird soft lock system in which your character will teleport to a marked enemy when beginning a combo but not in a way that's ideal to start attacking that enemy.
Additionally all attacks stagger(Enemies as well as your own), which means there is a very good chance you will get stun locked to death in the very first encounter as your attacks have some small forward momentum.

    Sex Scenes:
The is presumably 1, behind a pay wall. Everything I can say to that

    Game Time:
About 10min including a reset after being sun locked by the wolfes
