Extract videos from swf files (Rondo Duo Yoake No Fortissimo)

I'm trying to extract the videos from the game "Rondo Duo Yoake No Fortissimo". It's a large multi file flash game. My reason for doing this is because there are videos in the game that aren't in the gallery which I think are really important and I'm not sure why they aren't in the gallery when they are videos and the content is the same thing (different event) and they should be in the video sets for certain events. I enjoyed the game, but there is a lot of clicking to get to the missing videos. My final goal is the put all the videos together with maybe five loops on looped sets.

I've been looking around the files with ffdec and I've found some files that have vp6 files. But no matter what I do, I can't get any content out of the video files. I don't know if they're encrypted and I'm not sure how to check. VLC won't play them, and I'm not ready to fork out cash for programs that may not work. I don't mind doing the video work, I just can't get these files to render. I've also tried FFMpeg.

Does anyone have experience in this sort of thing and can maybe help me?

No luck, I'm thinking there must be some sort of the encryption. I don't know anything about flash. I was able to extract other assets, such as static graphics used during scenes, just not anything animated beyond the mouse cursor. Almost everything is animated. It's frustrating really.

So, the videos aren't encrypted. I'm just a dumbass. Turns out VLC can play the swf files directly.

I'll look more into this later today.

I pulled the videos from the swf files and used ffmpeg to convert their container to mkv files with no reencoding. The files play fine in MPC-HC. The file names are a bit messy, but almost in order of game events. Some videos have sound, but most of the sex scenes do not. Ultimately, it's best to extract the ones with sound and enjoy the scenes without sound in the game directly.

thanks for the explanation.. although I didn't fully understand the process as I'm only on phone and don't have the tools for all this workarounds

it'd be great if you or someone else with the tools could directly link the video files off in a file host, that'd really be great!
