At some point I realized that I'm having to re-read descriptions of games I've seen already, and deciding whether I'm interested or if it's something I'm never gonna play from scratch despite having made the same decision earlier. So, I made a userscript ( , essentially) that helps me with that… and after having used it for a while I decided to share it.
(See “Usage” and attached screenshots for further details.)

I found your script on Sleazyfork, and only the fading works since maybe there's a lot of updates on the sites.

I decided to update it to works with additional feature like stars on the Latest Updates, so you can Mark/Fade on the page itself without opening the thread first.

Left click to mark/unmark
Right click to fade/unfade

Also I added the export/import button markings on bottom right so (applied on the whole site tho)

…? :WaitWhat:
What are you talking about? The current version of the script (0.1.5, which was incidentally released a year ago) works perfectly well, both on the Latest Updates page and on the thread OPs.

…Looking at the modification you put there, I can't tell which script version it was based on; but I'm suspecting it might be severely outdated

Left click to mark/unmark
Right click to fade/unfade
Click on what? The game widget?
…Wouldn't that block access to the primary functionality of these widgets? (As in, opening the game thread – which is what that page is for)

If you're wondering why I only implemented editing marks on the game thread OPs (and not on the Latest Updates page) – that would be because there's little value in it; the decision whether it's a game you want to mark as something to look out for (or to ignore) normally requires examining game description at the very least (and possibly reviews/discussion), which entails opening the thread anyway.

Also I added the export/import button markings on bottom right so (applied on the whole site tho)
These buttons make little sense out of context (and are unlikely to be used on regular basis). It's better to put these commands in the instead. (…Personally, I see no need for them to begin with as this functionality is effectively built into Tampermonkey.)

Wowowow, chill out bro if you really don't like someone to edit out your scripts then I'll remove it just say so.

Well I tried to install your script on multiple devices with Chrome and Brave, using Tampermonkey and Violentmonkey which in both the marking feature is not working. Just decided to modified it to met my needs, and share it since probably other would have the same issues as me, and same needs as me.

for the thread, not at people have a time to open each thread and check all the content related to the game, for me looking at the rating and the thumbnails is enough to decide if I want to play the game or not, why should I play a cummies game if I don't enjoy the art.

Don't be butthurted bro, just request to delete and I'll do it, act like an Adult.

I don't care if you make edits, but when sharing results of your work, you should be prepared for criticism

If looking at the thumbnail is enough for you to immediately decide you're not interested in the game, there's no need to mark them in the first place ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

…Ah.
Well to be fair, it didn't occur to me that someone would be using an inferior browser for such purposes. Or that it would have a dumb bug like that.
(Then again, it's freaking CSS, what else do I expect from it? To work correctly?! :KEK:)
…Will add a workaround for it now.

Okay well I'm editing this post, after re-reading the thread with clear mind post-nut clarity. I think I get your concerns and I failed to clarify it on the first place and replied with what's brain cells left in my head.

The left and right click only applies to the star button in the top right corner not on the whole card. So I still can access the thread normally if I need more information about the game.

Addressing my replies, Fr bro, your posts feels so dismissive and condescending to me.
But, I appreciate your feedback, and I apologize if I came off wrong.

Still tho, Thank you the script, it's been helping me.

I work in software development as a day job. If I minced my words and danced around issues instead of discussing them directly, I'd never get anything done ^_^"

Come to think of it, there is indeed a new star icon on that screenshot you posted… You made no mention of it in the post so I was left guessing what you were talking about ^_^"

…I'll consider adding these features into my version of the script when I have time to work on it; though I doubt I'll be incorporating your implementation directly (both in terms of code and design/UX)
