The site just hit the 7500 games mark so I made a google doc showing some numbers and stats of the games here using the filters to know and organize how many times a certain tag, engine and status has been used and then I ranked them from 1st to 116th, splitting them in their own categories, and other stuffs. Tags according to the Tags rules and list.
It also compares the stats at the moment of the 7000, 6500 and 5500 games like how many times a specific tag was used during that time, its increase in % and how many places it went up or down. All the stats are in the same google doc but I'll leave the post for 7000 games, 6500 games and 5500 games here just in case.
Some fun facts:
- From 6000 games until now, the site added 500 games every two months. From 5500 to 6000 it took 2 months and 13 days.
- If the site keeps adding 500 games every two months, we should hit the 10000 games mark in early April of 2021.
- The 5 most used tags (in %) were: Big Ass (+1.61%), Big Tits (+1.17), Teasing (+0.89%), Adventure (+0.96%) and Fantasy and 2D Games (+0.75%)
- The 5 least used tags (in %) were: Japanese Games (-0,64%), Multiples Ending (-0.45%), Rape (-0.42%), Rpg (-0.35%) and Group Sex (-0,29%).
- The 5 tags that won most positions were: Gay and Cosplay (+5), Sandbox (+4) and then it's a tie between Big Ass, Furry and Platform (+3).
- Platformer? WTF?
- The 5 tags that lost most positions were: Mind Control and Bukkake (-4) and then it's a tie between Rape, Voyeurism, Spanking, Blackmail, Graphic Violence, Real Porn, Internal View and Side-scroller (-2).
- I recommend checking the +2000 numbers. There are some crazy things there.
- In the last two threads there was a big increase for tags like Teasing, Groping, Stripping, Sexual Harrasment and Sandbox which I thought it was more a case of reporting previous games with those tags than the new 500 games increasing those tags, specially Sandbox. Now Sanbox it's the only one of them who is still increasing but the rest are completely different.
- Sandbox won 4 positions but it lost its place in the % top 5 to Fantasy and 2D Games. The other tag were in the previous % top 5.
- From the previous botton 5 in %, Japanese Games, Group Sex and Rape are the tags who still have a place there from the previous thread. Only Japanese Game keeps its position.
- First time that incest doesn't lose positions since I started doing this.
- There are 2 new "tags": Asset-animation and Asset-characters. Those tags were exclusive for DAZ assets, not sure why are being used in games now. Technically those tags already existed when I did the 7000 games thread but I thougth they were a bug or something.
- For the first time since 5500 games, there are tags that haven't been used in the last 500 games: Necrophilia and Possesion.
- For the first time since I started doing this, there are changes in the engine ranking. WolfRPG and Java won 1 position each, leaving them 8th and 10th respectively.
