Why the hell is this so highly rated. The storylines, dialogue, personality of the characters are all so terrible. The sandbox is among the worst there is and would be unplayable without the walkthrough mod.

Okay first off this is just a linear "story" when you get magic to make the girls corrupt in the way you want. That is just bad when you have so many other games doing so much more with the same concept.

Sure you have to get to a level with some girls to unlock others but it is always the same path. Get Blah to X point and you unlock "Ehh" and you can not progress anymore with Blah until "Ehh" is at point X but you can not get "Ehh" to point X until 3 other girls are at point Y.

Now the dev could have put a little more thought into it and had the girl have different paths a "Sex Slave" path and a "Loving" path pretty easy sure it would take more writing but the replays it would add would have been worth it.

I can name a game the does this very well but this is not about the game this is about this one and this one falls way short.

Its alright. The models are hot for a change and you dont have to chase everyone around the map, but there is still grind and the story is barebones, and progression is too simple and just Nothing>blowjob>sex, basically

It's ok, it's worth to play for a while and there's the models picked fit me fairly well. It's nice to see a real porn game that doesn't use models with fake boobs. When it comes to the story?

It's pretty meh, you use a magical phone to corrupt people around you. Pretty much all women corrupt in the same way. They have a small and sometimes interesting plot that you eventually work your way through and as you do you get a few prompts to make them slightly more slutty. The prompts to do this are pretty random and because of that it makes the progress not feel natural. The end goal for all women is to have them call you "master". That seems to be the end for each woman but they do appear in the story of others but it's pretty rare. After that you pretty much just repeat whatever sex scenes they have in each location.

You can also tell that the game is written by a man for men (I am a man myself) as the MC makes the women horny but most of the time they just blow you and don't get any release themselves. Until they start calling you master. It's somtimes pretty juvenile.

I found this is a really well developed game. I love the fact you can replay any scene previously unlocked during the gameplay. Fairytale, which is the name of the game, is long even at an early stage of development.

Good and interesting. The plot has a lot of sense which is rare for this kind of game (of course there is a different kind of logic). It also has a lot of content. It would be better if it had a save retrieval system.

never really been a fan of HTML games, but this one commanded my attention. the MC feels natural and the ladies in the game are involving, and it is also nice the dev has used lesser known porn stars rather than the 'usual suspects'. there is an amazing ammount of playtime for a v0.12, this suprised me as just when i thought it was nearing the end, something else happened and the story continued.
I really look forward to future updates, and will definately be adding this to my list of 'Must play' titles. congrats to the dev on this great piece of work!

Visually well done game with a standard story, nice pictures/videos. Gameplay consists of: "do this xx times to get porn". It might be someone's cup of coffee, but not mine. You cannot fail at any point, nothing to struggle with. Just keep clicking.

I enjoyed most of the story even though is not the most original. The design and images are not the best, it feels a bit cheap. Good potential and good amount of content though.

Amaazing story, super sexy and full of interesting paths. The models are gorgeous. Gameplay doesn't feel tiring and although themes always go along the same lines, this one stands out. I highly recommend it

Fairytale is an HTML game about fairy magic and mind control.

It's pretty decent all told. While the story isn't anything inspiring, it provides a decent enough scaffold on which to stack a huge amount of porn. There's a lot of images and clips of a lot of different girls in this game with just enough story pretext that I feel the game isn't a waste of time before the porn.

That said, it is very porn heavy and game light. Don't bother coming here if you're looking for inspiring characters, engaging gameplay or deep world building. It's silly porn plots to show off good photoshoots and clips all the way down.

This game is basically a Hallmark channel Christmas movie marathon turned into a porn game. The same story beats and characters over and over and over again in a safe, unambitious and vanilla package that completely fails to assert itself.

The story revolves around using the Fairytale app to turn women into "voluntary" slaves but it does this so passively that it's hard to really call mind control. The MC never tries to understand, master, or expand the app in any way. Instead, the app will arbitrarily decide when it can make a change, offer a single suggestion to MC, and everything just turns out exactly how he wants. The app's suggestions often don't reasonably lead to the erotic content developing the way it does, ignores its own established rules when convenient, and never cause any problems for MC even when they should.

The changes from the app all cause the girls to develop in the exact same way, stripping them of what little individuality they have and turning them all into clones of one another. The slaves don't have any kinks or dislikes, they're just empty bisexual dolls who find sex with Master to be the greatest thing ever and find his cum yummy. It's not surprising then that after the first time MC has sex with them he basically tosses them aside like a used tissue to start on the next girl. He gets the girls to say they'll do anything he wants then immediately ignores them. There is a certain lack of adventurousness, and it is glaringly reflected in the very vanilla offering of sexual content. All of the girls are similar physically as well, making all this felt even more. They are all slim figured 20-ish year olds, even when their character profile doesn't make sense with that, such as with the college dean and police sergeant.

There is a lot of content and it is competently delivered mechanically, with no bugs in the game and the presentation of the models being consistent. Unfortunately, the large amount of content ends up really dragging the experience down as the repetitiveness makes the girls blur together and everything just gets monotonous and tedious. The story feels like it won't be able to deliver when it finally decides to get going either, based on how it refuses to challenge the MC. The end result is that the game collapses under its own weight into generic dullness.

If you're into mind control as a kink, and don't mind real porn in the context of a porn game, this game is pretty much a must play. The game isn't doing anything that unique, however, it executes everything with enough competency that it's easy enough to recommend in this space.

Lots and Lots of Content with all kinds of hot Women. The Story itself is fairly well written and there is always something keeping you interested. Like the Superpower/Corruption aspect a lot, even if it is sometimes a bit grindy(especially in the later stages).

It's one of those trigger hunt / stat raise HTML games, but it's a decent one. I like the quest system which makes tracking the objectives easier. The writing is alright, but quite minimalistic. A bit more depth would be nice. On the other hand, the models are pretty and there are lots of well chosen pics and videos. The one thing I really hate is that you have to repeat scenes to grind stats. It's just a boring mechanic. The UI is simplistic, but gets the job done. Overall, it's alright. Don't expect branching storylines or meaningful stats.

Quite entertaining, beautiful pictures and videos, pretty straightforward in story, and a few hours of fun in there, i would like an ability to replay past events., can't wait for the next update.

Very well written.
The characters are fleshed out, and the pacing makes sense, the story is not rushed.. also giving the models roles in the story that doesn't just makes sense for their age/look but also their relation with other characters in 3-some scenes. The scenes feels almost like it was shot to fit the story, even though i know it's the reverse process.. it shows that the writer had careful planning when writing the story, and when picking which model to play which role.

One of my favorite HTML games I've played. The characters are actually attractive - no bimbos. The dialogue and story is as well written as you can ask for, there is generally good continuity, and there is a lot of content. Lots of characters, and lots of scenes for each character. Good pacing.

Average for the genre, average experience, average everything. The writing is forgettable (especially dialogue) and any story is almost nonexistent. The sex content is fine but lacks meaningful context to really make it interesting or erotic.

While Fairytale is a mind-control focused game, the first comparison I found myself drawing was Love and Vice. I think a lot of what's done right should be taken as a lesson for the developer of Fairytale. There is a grind in Love and Vice, but progress checkpoints are rapid and there are multiple ways to grind the same stats so that you're not seeing the same interactions and scenes over and over by necessity. Mind-control absolutely changes the flavor of the erotic content and the path from mundanity to fantasy, but including the hesitation, conflict, and closeted lust in dialogue that Love and Vice does so well would do great things for Fairytale. Honestly, it's almost a necessity in HTML games that are very much tuned for dialogue-heavy experiences.

Credit where credit is due, though - the Quest system is great and helps avoid mindless spamming of events. The game functioned perfectly and navigation was fantastic. No click-on-seven-different-buttons-to-go-to-sleep nonsense that pervades HTML games. As a first foray into making an HTML game, I think grimm has done very well for themselves.
