FaithBound is a management sim where you run a cult, only with significantly less drugs, apocalypticism, child marriage, and harems.
It's fine. This type of game is right down my alley, but this is basically the nicest thing I can say about it. There's a handful of events, a little bit of grinding, and you're done. I wish there would have been a short ending scene once you run out of new content.
The numbers are pretty borked so the basic money making task is the most efficient, meaning you're taking one for the team literally and metaphorically any time you want to see new scenes. That's probably the most irritating feature of the game, especially since buffing more suspicious events would have reduced the grind just a little.
Overall, inoffensive, but very little to miss if you skip it. I feel like this game could have some legs with a little fleshing out in the story and event department, but it ain't there yet. It's a good scaffold for 72 hours of dev time.
