i know very well that discord. I was talking of the link where you found the thing about NEP/account issue
If you go to their discord and check out the FAQ section under 'Project Helius' you should be able to find info about account issues or NEP infromation.

If that doesn't help with your issue, I recommend posting under the Support-ticket section of the discord to have someone with better knowledge help with your issue.

The main aspect with acquiring NEP is from the monthly patreon subscription, so from every month of subscription you're paying for 1$ USD will equal 8 NEP.
If you want to get more NEP without waiting for the monthly patreon fee, you can increase your monthly payment amount to gain the difference.

Example, you pay 4$ per month, but want more NEP so you increase the amount to 8$ per month, you should instantly get the difference between the initial 4$ and 8$ (4$ USD which is 32 NEP). But if you leave it at this payment then the next month you will be charged 8$. Reducing the patreon payment will not reduce or increase the NEP you gain, until the next monthly charge.

I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you actually want to support the developers more. Better to keep your monthly patreon subscription at a rate your happy with OR if you already have access to the beta and just want to unlock more animation/experiment cards. I would recommend not paying more to the patreon. Instead do the daily tasks (which can stack for 3 days) and get other cards from the weekly likes shop.

Thanks a lot much helpful (y) . so i (according to your post) didn't receive anything coz i will receive the stuff next month. i wrote a ticket to the team though (before seing your post)

I found this tut. absolutely must read if you're interested into purchasing the game

i learned among others that the research points are locked to 1000 (equivalent to 10 levels) per week. personnally i see this more as a good thing. grinding games can't be nasty, and turn you slowly but surely into a no-life. locking the grinding is a good thing to me. you spend two/three days grabbing what you want and do other things. I played a couple of grinding games long time ago, and they can be real nasty, and turn you into a no life. when the grinding is endless, every hour you didn't spend in the game makes you think you missed something. quite an unpleasant feeling tbh
if this is that. and we'll see this next month, or if they answer to me. and i think it'll be that. because if not that would be such a amazing commercial error, the game is not a scam to me. the grinding is slow, yep, but personnally i don't care. except the affinity. the affinity grinding is real slow. but then, it's up to everyone to control oneself, and not take out the credit card. but to get the pubic hair for one girl, you need at least one good 10 days. in the same time when you get it you have an achievement feeling. but it's quite tempting when you love pubic hair not to take out the credit card. i have to force myself. in the same time when you make the account, paying for such thing would be totally ridiculous, not to say absurd
Thx again laugh. great stuff

Sorry but I am very confused, this whole reply feels like AI - shit I think I'm rhyming.

Anyway, I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell you, if you still have any questions. Apart from asking anyone else who has a better understanding then myself, feel free to send a personal/direct message to me and I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. (y)

if you read the precedent page, you'll see that i upgraded from a 31E plan to a 45E one, and received my NEP. then i downgraded out of curiosity to a 4E plan, and didn't receive anything. but thanks to your post i understood what probably happened
the game has over 800 animations. for a 36E game i find it not that bad. once you own the beta/game basically everything is free into that game. except the clothes of the premium passes. it's a question of restraint in fact
you can buy 50 animations for 30E. a complete clothes set for 6E, and a girl premium pass (avatar + more or less 50 clothes) for 18E. knowing that none of those purchases are mandatory, knowing that with the basic 36E plan you can get up to 4 girls, i see nothing excessive
monsters offer a wide variety of creatures. from werewolf like to human, from goblin like to tentacle
on the game page, not the patreon page. on the page where you get the keys, if you click support it's said 'you can email me' and not us which tend to confirm what i was saying that it's a very small team
i wanted to say something else, but i forgot

Dealing with their support ticket and mod answers now.

I couldn't imagine a more convoluted complicated circular reasoning mental gymnastics mindfuck of Pavlovian conditioning for a fucking glorified animation viewer in my life. Seriously this is some CIA shit

NEP, data fragments, affinity system, research points, research insights, experiment cards,
Research passes, character unlock passes, advanced research pass tracks, (and I'm sure there's more I don't know yet!)
Don't forget the "Likes" currency from fellow online perves

oh and here:
" Here's a link to the FAQ article on how the free pass system works. #unknown "

Seriously I joined in supporting them waaay back and easily have over 500$ in total support and I'd still say the pirated link on page 1 is best. This is like trying to figure out a trigonometry problem in Latin with roman numerals. Really I just went and got all my reciepts and exactly 499$ worth of support and all this complicated BS they sent me almost exactly 4k in NEP, 1$ to 8NEP = 4k nep and that's ALL.

Why can't they just say, "Yeah we fucked you, here's some NEP now go away kid!"

Normally I'm better than this, but sorry I haven't read everything I've got a few simple points and questions

-I supported years ago up to and around the 1st Steam Beta release. It turned into a mad house with no communications and no content so I backed out shortly after. I quote from their discord: " To those who weathered the storm of Elevator-chan 2021, the content drought of 2022, and our recent rebuild/progress reset in 2023 — thank you for your perseverance and interest towards the game." So it sounds like I made the right choice to back out!

-Fast forward to today and I swung by to see how progress was. Yeah it was so bad I haven't checked it in years! I was a pretty pissed off patreon. ANYWAYS seems it is still alive.

1. Is the content a "Game" or is it pay-per-view animations? When I backed out it was going to research points or something where you had to support or pay additional for access to content. Which basically meant that over the course of years the total content or "game" would end up costing you thousands of dollars.

2. Galetea seems to be out now, (I think that's why this project got such a start promise of a direct loli character in a high quality tentacle game) BUT according to what I've read my old patreon $$ are easy enough to have and obtain access. BUT If I did patreon again how much content is going to be locked behind additional pay walls?

Contenders with this 'game' are Devolutions Delta zone, streight up support today and get all current game as should be, and yes that is a game. Or Wildlife the happy furry fuck simulator of the year which is yet to be a "game" but at least you have access to a really cool animation viewer and all content.

-Lovecraft was turning out to be the biggest patreon gooner scam ever created and I'm wondering about it's current status.

and WTF is a NEP?
1. If you want to get animations fast - pay. Because grind here is :poop:, i mean you can get only 1 gacha card per day(3 "Insights"(currency you use to get gacha animation cards) per day. 1Card = 2 "Insights"), including the possibility of getting duplicates(honestly, you get almost nothing after receiving a card duplicate).

Long story short - it's "pay-per-view animations?"

2. It depends of the tier you're willing to buy.
1$ = 8NEP(Premium $$$ you get every month if you pledged on patreon, with them you can get a character or outfits from the in-game store, OR more "Insights")

-Lovecraft was turning out to be the biggest patreon gooner scam ever created and I'm wondering about it's current status.
Still smells like a scam. Nothin new except new characters you see every 4 months(sometimes 6)

BUT If I did patreon again
Honestly, i don't recommend you to do this. It's up to you to how you spend your money, but you're going to be disappointed once you realize it's the same gallery scroller you've played in 2021/2022, and there is still no reference of the RPG part.

Also, don't even bother listening to the JakePaul1 fan, because this kido's huge essays are meaningless and show that he hasn't done even basic research on the OLFD history.(he's just joined the scam ship:BootyTime:)

I remember what i wanted to say. the patreon had been reviewed by patreon. probably because of some people complaining. And the patreon is still there, proof that it's not a scam. same for steam. if it was really a scam steam would have cut short. if it was a scam would have it lasted so long. would they had still a strong 18k backers basis. would they had their number of followers on steam explode
small edit just to say that i upgraded to the 85E euros plan. i did it because as i planned to get more girls in the future i came to the conclusion that it was more interesting to upgrade actual plan. and i got credited with 822 NEP. largely enough to buy future girls, and lot of cool stuff. so no, for me there's no issue with that game
one last small thing in the clothes shop you can tag clothes to appear less often. a small feature that i find pretty cool. when you tag those clothes they will reappear much less often when the shop is refreshed

The best part is you don't actually OWN anything. For example, I can download Wildlife, put it on a flash drive, and open it on a different computer with no internet connection 10 years from now. Same with Delta Zone, make sure you have a legit .lic in the folder and you're good to play that game at any time. I've probably got similar support $'s but difference is I can pull up those old builds and play em right now.

Those dev's keep people supporting because they keep producing new and growing content. That's where I took issue when Helius launched the Steam beta. I'll never forget being stuck in that elevator and Dev was MIA and gave us outfits, most of which are missing in my acct now!

Take a porn site subscription like Kink.com they were best in class for that genre. They're gone now and the only thing that's left is videos. That's the very real future of this. I supported the idea and plan, but that fell apart and seems to have gotten weaponized to protect income.

Not a scam... ok serious question Do you know who Ivan Pavlov is?

Same idea here,

When you have a daily habit of repeated serotonin and endorphin dumps in your brain what do you call that? This game's daily 'grind' creates a habit. If their support $ reaches a critical point they toss up a pay wall and a large % of users will still pay to access their old content. It's psychological warfare on your wallet. This business plan has tested those limits over and over and keeps pushing. They produce some good content yes, but at what cost? And like I said you own NONE OF IT.

This pay-per-view style, this daily content grind, sets a very dangerous precedent for future games.

you didn't read what i wrote a page before. it's all in the restraint with grinding games. if you can control yourself you can have fun. if you can't they turn into a sort of hell i totally agree. i just said that the grind is locked into that game. you can't grab more than 1000 xp per week. and they're reached pretty fast tbh. i find that lock pretty cool. it allows you to 'disconnect' after a few grinding. after 7 days into the game i unlocked most of the cool items. the grinding left is only for the anims. and as long as you buy few NEP from time to time to unlock a bunch of anims (you really don't need to spend much. just a few here, and there) there's absolutely no need to 'get locked' and become a no-life with that game. unless you're a brainless zombie, there's no need to be 100 % of the time onto the game. just a few grinding from time to time, and you're good. the game is an adult game, we're here for the anims, and as long as you unlocked a good bunch of anims with the basic plan (36+E) there's no need to be on the game from morning to evening
and about the cost i find it quite correct tbh. the 820+ NEP i was talking about were just for the upgrade to the 85E plan (48E upgrade). if i take into acount all the NEP i got from the beginning which in total didn't exceed 85E, i think i easily came over the 1500 NEP. a girl premium plan (avatar + 50 clothes) is 150 NEP. a full outfit 50 NEP. a skirt, or shoe 20. 50 plans/animations (100 small lights) 250 NEP. as you see you can do quite a bunch with those
