RPGM - Completed - Familiar Spirit of the Demon Lord [Final] [DojinOtome]

A simple trainer game that isn't particularly deep in either gameplay or story.
The game's pretty short and can be finished in a couple of hours if you avoid the bad endings by taking night strolls. You need to increase how much the girl you accidentally summoned likes you and obeys you (which only affects her dialog and mood, really), and level up her skill with chores. Both chores and "training sessions" cost her energy, which you can keep up by buying items or taking a walk.
Gameplay-wise, game's pretty simple. You click a button for most things, and click on areas on the girl during "training". It's not terribly grindy, though you can buy some books to level up her chore skills, and clicking them one by one via the RPGM menu can be a bit annoying.
The H-scenes are not animated but mostly voice-acted. You can choose between 4 positions depending on how you train her. Graphics are decent. Story isn't that deep and is mostly humorous.
To sum up, a short and sweet game that can be played in a single afternoon.

A fap-worthy snack but not much else. FSotDL is a short game that lasts a single night. It's interactive porn scenes work, but there's only four of them, plus four static scenes, which perhaps explains why there's no unlockable cg mode. speaking of four, there's supposed to be four endings, but one (or perhaps two) is effectively the game tricking you into a fail state.


Aside from the porn, there is a twist I find really neat, story-structure-wise, but this is porn so...

All in all, FSooDL is a barebones trainer game that works as intended but doesn't have much anything else in it. All the better porn is effectively unlocked at the word go and everything else is just a grind to get. That said, it is a short grind, but the lack of a cg mode really tanks any long term commitment I feel towards this game.

Very Weak story and characters

Not much positive about it other then it fully functional and shortish.


There are far better and was honestly tempted to give this a Below Average but I don't find these common enough so feel average is fair enough.

Cute and fast game (50-70 minutes) with some fantastic art.

The ingame 30day timelimit is very superflous, youcan easily encounter and do everything bare some slightly secret scenes by day 20 and then you wait for the end.

Given this i wouldnt even say the it actually has gameplay and instead call it novel.

It lacks a recollection mode, but given that most scenes are gameplay bound and you find then within 30 mins this isn't a issue.

A short trainer about raising a human girl as a subservient demon.

• Story is cute and comedic, a la Disgaea
• Despite the short length, characterization is effective even for minor characters
• Game mechanics are straightforward but involved enough to allow for multiple endings
• Cute art in a style reminiscent of Etrian Odyssey
• Plenty of lewd for its length

On the minus side, this game needs a mouse to be played effectively but there are issues with sensitivity and axis detection during sex scenes. Nothing game-breaking but it can be annoying.

This is a game without pretensions, that simply does what it set out to do.

Nice simple game, play if you have the time. Linear game play so probably will only need 2 play throughs to see everything in this game. easy game mechanics also in the ending so no worries in finishing the game.
