VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Family Again [v0.4.0] [F_Dot]

Personally I like it, it has many errors and contradictions here and there but in general it seems to me a good game, of course, I understand people who do not agree, to begin with the game sins of being a kinetic novel without being one, few decisions that do not lead to anything, the mc is not to the liking of many and it is understandable, it is practically just a comic relief, the aesthetic design is nice personally I like it, the story seems interesting to me, the other characters seem nice to me exception of the mc daughter, if the truth is a bit obnoxious but it's also nothing I haven't seen, to summarize it's a simple game but with potential

Despite yes needing some corrections and smoother dialogue at times I really enjoy a lot about this game and can't wait to see where it goes. Room to improve of course, but for a 1st VN I give a lot of props for how entertaining it is.
The MC is a real piece of work that's for sure, sympathetic enough in ways to root for, flawed enough in ways to hate lol The prologue was was far longer than I anticipated, but that's a good thing, I agree there are plot holes and some suspension of disbelief for the set up in the current situation, can hope for some polish but it's not too much for me not to enjoy it so far.
All I can say is can't wait for more and wish all the best to the Dev for a great start.

*A lot of content, with a good plot idea.
*Nice girl models.
*New story.

Cons
*English. I am not a native English speaker, but even I can see many mistakes.
*The illusion of choice! The choice you get to make has zero impact on the story. If this had a kinetic tag I would be okay with it. But not given it one is a big thing for me!
*Like a sad by pro a good plot idea, but terrible execution. You rape your friend (and girlfriend's best friend) because you're drunk and see shit? (its not drugs) Then you never hear her so no??? Then next chapter you need to leave to let things cool down and you cant take them with you????
Your best friend then fucks your fiance in less than a year?
And there is more..
As it is now, I can't recommend the game.

I hope he reworks the game a little.
It has huge potential if the mc is likable and not a total idiot and your friend's real friends.

Pros:
-The graphics. Exactly my personal style. Feet close up and the like.
-Content. Releases have a lot.

Meh:
-Lack of subtlety, but fuck, it's a porn game. Waddaya want?

Cons:
-Stupid / Gross / Childish MC (all too common in porn games, I'm sad to say)
-The "English" language. I'm French and I speak better English (!)
-Plot tropes designed to slow down story progression:

NOTE = AAA games and Mainstream TV/Movies do the latter... all... the... fucking... time... to keep subscription / DVD sales up... so the Dev is in good company.

If the dev could hire an English speaking writer with porn experience, this could EASILY be 4 star because of the graphics, but due to Cons, 2 it stays.

Oh god, what a game.

Positive things
- the characters are good looking.

Negative things
- the story is strange. MC has been gone for years without any contact with his own girlfriend and child. No man would do that to his girlfriend and child.
- Olivia is a lying and manipulative bitch. She fuck immediately MC's best friend when MC leaves. Neither would be in my life anymore at that point. That thing ruined this game.
- I don't raise other men's children, especially when this child is the result of cheating. And my best friend's child with whom my own girlfriend is cheating. Maybe it wouldn't have betrayed the MC if this shitty MC had kept in touch or stayed in the fucking city.
- Olivia lies to MC's daughter. Which I would never forgive.
- MC's daughter is a complete asshole. Every second made me press the CTRL button to the bottom. I just can't stand that kind of behavior every time she opens her mouth. Nothing good will come of it.
- every woman in this game thinks the MC is some fucking idiot old piece of shit. Maybe they're right, but it ruins the game by a hell of a lot. Perhaps the best character in the game is, ironically, Ellie, who is nice, but damn, who is the one I don't want in the game for those reasons mentioned above.
- Lily's death was so ridiculously done.
- I'm not interested in looking at other dicks.
- I don't share my women, even if they are whores. Not interested in MMF.

I don't know if I forgot to bring something up, but no more this game.

bad english .. phrases that make zero sense ...a story thats childish in the exstreme ..the anomations are ok slightly above avaerage ... the main problem is the dialog is so bad you get bored fast its painfull reading through it ..the facial wxpressions are awful..the models are mostly generic and unatractive ....

This is horrible. The English spelling is tragic. You can often guess what the dev means, but this just makes the writing so much worse. Because what you are then left with is VERY bad story writing.
I stopped after the MC had sex infront of his todler for the second time. And by that point there has not been any choices. So you are just left with a very bad story, that you have no control over.

The only thing i like is the models used.
Its really bad i mean how lazy do you have to be to name the city this takes place in, X city.

Really cant understand how anybody can rate this with 5 stars... especially not considered how great some games are around here... what are these than 1 million stars? 5 stars is the BEST rating possible, guys turn on your brains... this is not the best game around here, not even close, mor close to the worse games.

The writing is really bad, of course... english is not the native language of the dev, but man... get some proof reader, EVERY single line has so many errors... its disturbing.

Than the storytelling... you have no choices, well the dev gives some, but they dont matter in any way.

The MC is a sick rapist and asshole, no way i will ever like playing him.

Most of the sex-scenes are really disgusting, at least there is the rape tag... but it didnt expect that much rape from the MC.

Yeah for a inital release there is pretty much content, but not that much for over 3gb, why is it that big, and did the DEV played it for himself even once? there are so many errors in it...? And why 3GB? Most renders were recycled very often, the animations are poor, there are even only a handful models anyway, everything else are just white replacements... dont know why the size of the game is that big. There are games out there with much better renders, tons of different models and awesome animations with more content and they arent that big.

Only good thing is the story itself, but everything else sucked so hard i cant really get into it... iam sure, this could be a good one, if the writing would be so much better (and proof read) some bugfixing would be done, and if the choices would matter in any way (need a kinetic novel tag, cause it is one, the choices dont influence anything)

But this game just sucks in the essentials so it doesnt really matter anymore if the story idea is a good one, cause the story just cant make up to the many other flaws this game has.

So to summerize

Pro:

- Good Story idea (but cant deliver it cause the dev cant write one decent sentence)
- Decent renders (i can live with replacemnt for side models, they dont really matter anyway, but if you use them, why is the size of the game that big?)
- decent amount of content so far

Con:

- poor writing, bad english, stupid dialogues
- disgusting sex scenes most of the time, even with Lily... "making love" should not look like rape all the time.
- if the sex scenes are not digsuting, they are boring. Not erotic in any way
- poor animations, just small loops nothing more... if you cant deliver, than just dont do them.
- given choices dont matter at all, if you want a kinetic novel, do it without giving choices with no effect. Just make it kinetic and everything would be fine, like this... it sucks big time.
- Asshole of an MC... nothing to like about him, makes it nearly impossible to play this game.

1 Star for the Story idea cause it was overall an "fresh" idea, and 1 for the decent renders.

Rest is just bad and this game will not get better, need a rework all over with a lot of bugfixing and proof reading. The Story idea is nice, but the DEV needs serious help in many regards in making a VN. Like how to tell a story, how to write in english, how to code in renpy without errors and so on...

So 2 stars cause its not the worse around here, but any star more would be to many. The high ratings are ridiculous compared to other games.

I really don't understand the praise this game is getting. The story is bad and the characters are boring. The writing is just awful, the dev really should get someone to proofread the script.

Also, the scene where MC is talking with and about their infant daughter about sucking dick and fucking, wtf was that?

The only redeeming thing about this VN is some OK H-scenes and decent models.

This one is a great start. Got potential to become a top game. Renders and models are good. Both the main female leads Lily and Olivia are great. Lily is cute and shy. Olivia acts like tough. But she is also nice girl. For a first release this one surprisingly lot of content. This one is little emotional to I'm not spoiling it. In this version it's story of MC before he leaving. This one got of lewd content too. But all of it are executed well. MC is a sex addict in the beginning but girls will change him.

If you are wondering who is the MC in that banner. Well both are One person left one is the MC's past look and the right one is the MC's new look after ten years.

Overall this one is great start and really worth playing. Keep up the good work dev Looking forward to next updates.

This is the first time i have played a game on first release. I must say there is a lot of content for a 1st release, some typos but thats to be expected.

Gameplay is very good and if it keeps on in future releases, this could quite easily become one of the top games on here.

Good renders, Good animations, Good storyline

Tips
Maybe animate the entire sex scenes rather than the sex a flash and aftermath, maybe animate the orgasm shots too.

I really do not think you need to put rape into it especially not from the MC.

I am impressed and i wish the dev all the luck in this endeavour and i look forward to the updates.

Very promising start and i hope it continues

I really liked it. Some of the story felt a little rushed, but that's going to happen when you are trying to get the gist of the story before getting to the main part. Definitely brings a lot of different types of emotions from the story. The only thing that stops me from giving it a 5 star is one short scene, but it's not enough for it to ruin the whole effect of the story that it gives.

Loved the game so far. Good story telling, renders, character & Character development. Keep it up and it may become a Master Piece. But there are some concerns and confusions as there are Rape and Prostitution tag on the game.hope it's for hookers and some random check and not for Main Love Interest. And I personally hope that there won't be any Netorare Or Sharing a Scene in the game with Main Love Interest. Good luck dev and it would be wise to start a Discord server for game discussion and it's future updates and plans.

There is a lot of content for an initial release and the whole thing is well put together. The story is a string of melodramatic cliches but if you are into it, it works pretty well. It uses a lot of things like rape and murder to try to shock the player, and I don't think those mesh well. The renders are good and there is no choice because it's an initial release.

The whole thing feels like a collage of cliched melodrama and shock, to try to tug at the heartstrings of the player, and it executed what it set out to do competently. Many people won't like it because of that, but it managed to interest me.
