Yes the ending will suck no matter what I do unless I rewrite the whole damn story. Even then though, we'd need more renders. This game was obviously meant to be much more. The dev at first said no continuation, but now has backtracked and maybe if enough money. Not a fan of this dev tbh, idk if he's also teh writer but whoever the writer is should be fired. As multiple people have pointed out no story line was even remotely finished unless you consider the Hanah arc done cause shes was "done" but it ehhh i dont think so. Anyways not keeping my hopes up at all. If dev does do a part 2, might have to rework the ending depnding which way the dev goes but idk imo this needs a rework. Lots of potential, just poor writing and execution.

I'm happy to be wrong here. I went to look but I can't find the post about it anymore on patreon and now he even added creating Family Crush besides Summer Crush, so one can only assume sales have been adequate.

I want to write you all the words of gratitude for your support and interest in my game. As with my previous project, Summer Crush, I was alone with this project (I ordered music and animations from my friends). In fact, making games (if you can call visual novels games) is not so simple. Constant stress, fear and three hundreds of sleepless nights ... Well, you yourself saw everything! But do not understand me wrong. I myself chose this path and all the negative effects were associated with passion and obsession to do something beautiful. I did not do Family Crush to just earn money and roll it into a sunset at a brand new sports car. I hope you notice it.

Pleasant game to you and, I hope you will not remain indifferent.
Important remark: If you are going to play in a simplified Chinese or Turkish language, choosing the tongue icon (right lower corner) in the main menu, the game will need to restart so that the engine correctly restarts the font library!

According to default, the game is launched in English so that those who do not know any other language do not complain very much to me in a personal in a discord
The question with cards, backgrounds and so on will clarify in the first week of sales. In other words, if sales are adequate, then Valve will allow me to release all these things.

Alright so I jinxed myself with the I'll have it released by (yesterday) message. TL;DR Brownies Happened, and they weren't shit until I overwrote the nearly completed script with some old version and didn't realize until far too late -.-

Is there no way to make the mod with the game's languages? I play it in Spanish, but when I add the mod, everything changes.

No. As stated the mod is english only.

Here's the deal. The code is all russian. I can't understand fuck all in russian, so I ripped out all that code and replaced with english correcting the most egregious errors bad ML translation did along the way and fixing holes. This borks the translations because it relied on the original russian as it's basis.. to have a proper translation you'd have to compile the game without the russian files and then get a translation base on the modded version then go through and translate line-by-line.

Had I understood russian even faintly I could have avoided all this by implementing the mod diffrently, but because I dont and all his code was russian there was no way for me to follow story by looking back and forth between code and translation files. So unfortunately this mod will remain english only unless some translator wants to throw some time retranslating the game.

if you dont care about ipatch if i have a suddent burst of motivation perhaps i can do a standalone walkthrough. that said it wouldnt be a multimod and youd have to do multiple playthroughs to get all scenes, but that could be done easier now that i understand how renpy works a bit more.

Is iPatch the incest patch? No, I don't care at all, as long as it marks the options in green that are good, I don't care if it says mother or stepmother or whatever.

I tried to translate it with the renpy translator app, but it goes crazy with the names and I get (*** 10) and things like that and I can't find a way to change it.

Today I'm going to start by responding to a few comments I've received after the situation that happened a couple of days ago. I'm not doing this to piss anyone off, but rather to open people's eyes.

1. You shouldn't have pandered to feminists, leftists, and reptilians. You could have gone to another platform and sold the game there.

Yeah, right. Now, I'll just pull up my pants and go to another platform. If we take the game that started it all - "No Mercy" - as an example, and then argue that it sells a million times better on third-party platforms, then, well, MAYBE it's because everyone wrote about it and people wanted to see what politicians were arguing about?

2. You made a mistake by letting someone "change the design" of your game. Awesome, dude. I played through Dreams of Desire with "Housewife" and "Neighbors" and I tolerated it. In my head, I knew perfectly well who was who and what was going on. And in my game, I only changed one line that violated the law. Yes, the stakes are lower now, but it's either this or bye-bye to the game on our favorite platform.

Taking into account all of the above, we must understand that the game can still be removed because of the name, if there is another wave of bans. Or maybe Valve will update the rules any minute and say that it will stop selling games for adults.

As for the patch. Now I can't do it legally! Well, of course I can, but no one will know about it! After all, I won't be able to post it, since it is, albeit a modification, but a modification that violates the law! Even if I didn't give a damn about the laws, in the near future, until the dust settles, I would not do anything that could harm the existence of the game.

As for the second season. I will have to rewrite the plot so that everything complies with the law. But you know, I have a feeling that one of the developers on my team will make a patch on release day and put it somewhere for everyone to see! Son of a bitch, better not get caught! I'd fire him, but then there won't be a single employee left at Wet n' Juicy... Damn Fren...

Now about the last episode of Summer Crush. I finished the opening scenes for all the characters that the main character could wake up with on the last day, and will be working on long scenes of the general plot. Here's one of the shots with the people's favorite.

The only thing changed on Steam is the last sentence, that previously showed the plot twist that MC and the girls are in fact related by blood.

For the story it was always meant that during the game they are mentioned as step-brother and sisters, so no patch of mod needed.

No idea, I don't use any mods myself. I do know however that most that do use them, use them to make the girls blood-related from the get-go, so that wouldn't change the last sentence and also make it obsolete imo.
