You're just as puzzled as the rest of us because the 1 man developer team (who claimed that he's hired more people to help him with the game's development) said the same thing as what everyone else has told you. That the NTR is avoidable, but that it's an NTR game with multiple unavoidable NTR paths to choose from. He has also pointed out that it's not an exclusively NTR game. Nothing he has ever said makes sense. I think he's just winging it, and the quality has gone downhill with way more static images than before. There used to be more visual scenes than photos, and not any of these complicated game mechanics that make no sense & slow down the game's development. Whomever he hired to develop the game with/ for him needs to kick him in the ass. He has overcomplicated the game mechanics, and development has suffered.

I wouldn't say it's below average but I guess it depends on what you are looking for in an adult game. Personally I prefer when devs stick to their vision for the game, even if I don't agree with it. I've seen too many devs trying to please everyone and they end up pleasing no one. I think the content itself is good, but I am a big fan of harem games. For me the biggest mistake he made with this game, is adding the ntr stuff so early. He said from the start that is not meant to be the focus of the game, so it doesn't really make sense to open up that path so early just to put it on hold for most of the game's development.

Let me add another perspective to your point of view. If they hadn't planned the harem route and released NTR content so early, this game would have far fewer fans than it does now. It seems like bait-and-switch here. In other words, a production was made promising very serious content, but there was no progress in that area, and because it's a game that I think is below average visually, it couldn't have gained so many players with just the harem route. People will probably stop spending their time or money on a harem game of this quality.
