VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Family Values [v0.2] [duncanmac]

The story here is a normal sci-fi, but it lacks writing quality, as there are inconsistencies, for ex. there are no more morals or ethics regarding so called adultery, but it seems there is. I like slow paced relationship, but nor too slow, neither fast, like in this one, for example, but it's justified, as long as its story setting allows it.

There are, I mean are choices, but not meaningful choices here, and given the fact this is abandoned, one should be glad it's so, therefore the story doesn't seem required any. I guess the current version doesn't punish for "wrong" choices and you're able to continue with the right one (I didn't encounter any issues with this).

The game says you have 26 explicit scenes and it indicates the number you've done. You just have to check the notepad in the phone to know where to go and when. For this version, it's the right amount of explicit scenes. Therefore it has animation on each scene, that's a big plus. But the characters are dull and emotionless, no any expressions, especially MC, which is a turn off.

This is a good example of how much content should have games with version 0.2

I didn't cover every aspect, but I'm sure outlined the ones not mentioned. For the rest, please read the reviews below, that's should be more than enough.

This game is great. It's got such a high tempo and low restrictions to the character's morality that it brings a great contrast to the otherwise extremely slow-paced icnest games out there.

It doesn't really seem to understand the female orgasm and how it doesn't really tie to urination, though. But aside from that and somewhat iffy navigation (I've got lost at home countless times by now), it's a refreshing erotic adventure.

A great game, there is an abundance of content and it stands out from others, its a little easier to go in and get a great story. It's like a free for all.

I cant wait for updates and also a replay feature could be a great add on.

Awesome concept and great execution so far. A twist on the Hentai High School concept starting with a far more corrupted town so there isn't the long grind to perversion.
The rendering and character design are both well done. The writing is great and the single male teacher at an all female school reminds me of Womi's Saint Nude Academy, only with breast sizes in the more reasonable range.

I have never in my life hated a porn game as much as this one. The 3d is passable, but the progression system is absolutely horrendous.

There are no choices in this game. It tries to project itself as something more, but ultimately, the gameplay is as linear and binary as it can get. The moment you pick the wrong choice, the game automatically ends without any reasonable explanation. At which point, you are forced to restart it all over again. That is for. every. single. choice! And some of the choices are absolutely ridiculous considering this is basically a porn festival with every possible fetish you can think of.

Secondly, the map movement. There are no indicators as to where you are supposed to go. Either in the map or, more logically, in the dialogue. You are expected to have the ability to see through the future. You can go anywhere you want and will spend an annoying amount of time moving from place to place before you find where you are supposed to be. Empty rooms after empty rooms, until you finally reach your destination.

Now, try and combine the two previous issues together. You can go anywhere you want, which will for the first time, take you a few minutes per scene progression. Then you have to remember every single choice, otherwise you will be forced to restart the game, forcing you to go back into clicking around locations. It's a nightmare. This game is a nightmare. And for what? Barely passable sex scenes with certain fetishes like pissing that you can't turn off. Because it makes so much sense for every woman to piss herself every time she cums.

First of all, we have to talk about what you are into. These types of games are not your Mass Effect / Dragon Age. That is to say, they are not meant for wide audience consumption. You might not like some of the stuff this game has.

Here is a list of the things this game does have. If you don't like them, there is no point in trying the game out:

80% incest, orgies, public sex, corruption, watersports (drinking piss), lesbian relationships, crazy and outlandish story on how everyone fucks publicly and incestuously.

If any of the above is a hard turn off, the game is not for you.

Now if you however like any of the things I listed, they are here in abundance. Actually I've described the game pretty much completely.

V0.11 is a demo. There is not much here, an hour or two of content. But what is here is quite good.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because it has no history. I don't know how the developer will update the game, and what is here is simply an introduction. That being said, it's above average and very much deserving more than 3 stars.

This is quite low for what I view the game. At the moment in terms of content, this is right up my alley and looks great.

First off the game is porn first and foremost. Which is the style I like. Incest BDSM Corruption, all the good stuff. I'll make note of the Honey select models but all of them are custom built and NOT default example characters. (I can name a few games that thought they could get away with that.) Also while using another game renders isn't great I much prefer it to when devs who can't draw try to.

I have two reasons why this game isn't 5 start. 1, I'm a little concerned with the ambition the game features a map similar in size to HHS without the filler people or random events. I hope that the creator will fill these but for now, the lack of content in those areas is very noticeable and made worse by the map size. . 2, The weird content places. At this moment content feels a bit jumbled. Its good content just in a few strange places

I WILL CHANGE THIS IS FUTURE IF THE ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED AND THE GAME IS MORE FLESHED OUT.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.11


This is not really a Visual Novel, as it is more of a porn fest... And yet again, it has the overused Family Sex stuff, and not just the protagonists family...

The visuals of the characters are decent, but very inspired by Hentai... The backdrops are all unique and creative...

The script is alright with just a few spelling/grammar errors, mixed some minor broken English now and then... The plot is very simple, you play a male protagonist, in a future post world war 3 world, where a majority of all men and women are dead, but women out number men... In fact, people don't even procreate any more, as they are grown in vats, and for whatever reason, only women are allowed to be birthed that way (makes it almost sound like the author/s are men haters, which is hilarious given that every woman the protagonist runs into wants him sexually, so not really sure why it's against the law to birth boys)... Add to all that, the remaining population is now extremely open to all things sex related, with very few restrictions outside of requiring concent... The male protagonist is a professor at a small town university, populated by all women...

The whole goal of this game is for the protagonist to have sex as much as possible, with any women possible, in an attempt to ensure the town's sexual corruption is even higher then normal... Because apparently the big cities are a lot more open to all the sex stuff then the smaller towns... It also keeps getting hinted that his wife will only return from the big cities once he has completed that goal... Go figure...

There really isn't much actual story to this game, so it's not really right to call it a Visual Novel... You do have a quest chain or sorts to work through, that comprises of several pre-determined events... The biggest issue I really have with this game, outside of it just being a porn fest, is that you get punished for making wrong decisions... Every single time a decision presents itself, it is a 50/50 chance you might get it wrong, and that ends the game, taking you back to the main menu... It is sort of difficult sometimes to determine the right choice, so i advise saving game before every choice is made... I really do not like games and/or visual novels that use player choice punishment, and this one uses it every time... And the only hint I can really give, without using a guide/walkthrough, is that the point is to select deviant choices without always going overboard, especially when the choices involve the protagonists 3 daughters...

Also, if you get lost in determining what to do next, the game gives you hints when clicking the info button on the protagonists home laptop... The laptop also shows you how many events you've experienced already, out of number available... Plus you can advance the day cycles from the laptop, and from the city map... I did run into one bug, as once you get near the end of the current content, if you try to select the Sex Club, it gives you an error message, and if you select Ignore, it takes you back to the beginning of the game, in the subway car...

Overall, if you want to see and read a bunch of erotic sexual scenes, covering many different fetishes, then this is a great game for that... If you're looking for any kind of real deep and meaningful story, this isn't your game... It does have some story elements, but they mostly revolve around lots of sexual behavior while trying to achieve the overall goal of further corrupting the town... Obviously, this game is only version 0.1 which means it is most likely early in development, and there is already a decent amount of content in this one, so look forward to more as time goes on... Did I enjoy this game? It has it's moments, but is it what I really look for, not really... If it had more humor maybe, but it is really focused on tons of open sex and sexual deviance... Will I revisit this one? Maybe if I need to get my jollies, sure, but not for any other reason...
