My japanese isn't the best, but english is my first language. If you actually know japanese, some of the lines might seem mistranslated, but if you don't, it shouldn't read like a spam email. That being said, I just did this for myself and a friend so I didn't bother going through again to check the grammar, nor did I check if the word wrapping was good all throughout.

I was planning to do UI translation as well, but I got lazy.

IMPORTANT: Switch the font to MS UI Gothic or else the wrapping's gonna be fucked.

Same question here. I'll be damned if I can find anything on how to apply dat patches anywhere. I mean ".dat" has to be the most common file ending after .txt . The best I can remember is that there are patches where you'd have to extract the archived game files by yourself, overwrite them with the patch files and repack them again. Using the info given here I think. Not sure if this one of these patches.
