Short: I do not recommend this game because of its junky gameplay
Long:
The game tries to be difficult in a challenging way but it's not its difficult in an annoying way, spells don't seem that useful, most of the game is easy even without them, but you're forced to use them when enemies are literally unreachable because of a boss or melee character in your way.
Since you cannot upgrade yourself in any way besides spells ( Or i have not found it before the second boss) it makes the game annoying especially when some abilities send you back flying, i don't think you should be forced to use consumables like the spells in order to make real progress.
Making the game so reliant on the spells means if you're not great at it, you'll have to stay and farm for enough spells , and if you somehow still lose, you have to start all over
Maybe it's a skill issue but damn the game is not fun at all, the dodge is really bad i've dodged more things moving out the way than with the actual dodge because of how bad it is, the range is just too short and it doesn't even seem to give i-frames
The game also seems to rely a lot on spells and i find that mechanically bad, i don't want to spend time farming for spells, the dodge and basic should be enough, but with how bad dodge is, the second boss kinda forces you to use spells, because if you don't 2 enemies can get suck behind the boss and just keep hitting you from afar.

I like the idea of the game but as it stands it just feels unpolished, the game is sluggish and unrewarding, everything has weird hotboxes even your attacks. I love hard games but not annoying games where enemies can push you back to the start of the level and you have to walk your way back, i hope it was a bug just on my side but if not i do not recommend this game ,and that's a shame because i really really liked the art.
