Unity - FarmD [v1.6.5] [Softscale]

My biggest gripe with this game is that it's.... about furries, I mean it's not bad, but I do wish the game would more humanoid like creatures, more human like face (maybe some monsters) and just give them huge, animal like dicks.

Graphics could be better, I think it's one area this game doesn't stand up to current standards of some other 3D games, animations aren't that bad, but the bulges could be more substantial and more related to size of the dicks, cum inflation could also be revamped, higher poly models are a must for this game really, current models are way to simple, so the bulges and other deformations don't look as nice.

Would be nice if this could one day evolve into breeding game, with pregancy, sort of like koboldkare and breeders of nephylem... but better, and with more focus on actual sex and less boring grind.

Still if you are a fan of furries, you'll enjoy it. Maybe then it might be worth 4 stars, but this is defenitely not a 5 star game, anyone who votes 5 stars for this just has very low standards when it comes to games.

v1.6 summary: An animation selector with extra steps while using below average graphics and animations.

There's some worthwhile content here, but I find myself comparing FarmD to similar games. Wild Life has dozens more characters and I think upwards of a thousand or more animations, although it's a much bigger team (it also has VR). And Heat's VR interactivity is far more in-depth. Yiffalicious came out 6 years ago, uses the same Unity engine, and has some pretty amazing animation posing and models, and has VR. I'd even consider Rack 2 a competitor even though it's abandoned and doesn't have VR.

In my opinion, there's not much FarmD does that's unique or better. One exception is the saddle + belly rig, which I had to search the forum to discover how to use (you find it indoors, but it only works outdoors EDIT: It now also works indoors as of 1.6.3). Another exception that I found interesting is that the animations never cause the actors to teleport to their designated position like in other games. If you want Doofy the Dragon to come sit on the couch, he'll walk from where he is now to the couch and sit. This is at least a nice improvement of continuity that is quite rare. Most other games are "select animation" -> Poof. Done.

All in all, it's a handful of vanilla positions, "cute" animations with cuddling and petting, some decent environments to camp out while your goofy-looking dragon fucks your goofy-looking furry in the same way they do it in every other location, and then the tech demo is done.

As a side note, I find it odd and worrisome that the game's version starts with a "1" - 1.6 - as if it's finished and just getting minor improvements instead of firmly in an alpha or beta stage, which is what it feels like. EDIT: The dev responded about the versioning system here

Side note #2: For the forum post, the game's screenshots and gifs should really be updated to the latest models, not those legacy ones. The new ones look better. The option to choose the legacy skins in the character editor made me realize this.

In any case, I'm keeping a cautious eye on this one, and will gladly increase my rating if things improve over time. To me, though, and for the moment, FarmD is near the bottom of a short list of similar games.

cool idea, but not much of a game besides an animation viewer, with some basic customisation of the characters.

now i do know the developers have got plans galore for this. being different types of MC, and eventually a multiplayer, and or a third partner.

but rn, its okay for the couple or so hours of that novalty feeling of "wow these details are unique", then that wares off and its a shell, a demo. nothing much atm, but i love its style and itll be on my radar, but in its current state.. not much to do atm. come back in a year

Awesome game! Love playing it in VR too would be nice if there were more maps and animations as well as turn the partner into a half human kind of thing. Otherwise awesome game!

Wow. With no janky VR button pressing, just my hands, I'm able to go through an entire "scene." Everything looks so good too. I'm at a loss for words, can't imagine what this would be with a few more years of development. You are an artist.

This review is for 1.2, even though we're technically on 1.3, as the past few updates seem to have just been technical polishing for things I don't think I've ever had an issue with.

I can't speak to how this game plays in VR, but I can say that out of all the "VR first, but you can play on desktop" games I've played, this is by far the best in terms of normal playability and control. There's no real learning curve nor movement struggle to deal with. The fine print here is because it's VR first, I feel some of the animations don't go as fast as they could otherwise, likely due to how sick it'd make you in first person.

People talk about this having a lot of content, and maybe there is if you're playing a male character? But playing a hetero female character, it doesn't feel that way. Making animations is such a tedious process, that there is as much content as it is kind of amazing to me regardless. And what exists is definitely sufficient. I haven't had any issues with weird clipping, save for tails bumping and getting temporarily stuck against body geometry but that's something I expect and doesn't bother me at all.

I don't think any other review has mentioned is the intiface integration. When I first saw this, I kind of scoffed, "how silly", but now I feel minor despair that this isn't incorporated into more games. I've had no technical issues with it in-game either, it just works™.

Amazing game. tons of positions, although not all positions are available in positions you'd think they would be. (ex. missionary isn't available while laying down) although that doesn't really matter since they're amazing in the first place. Full body tracking as well. Character creation is really good, could give you more freedom, but the quality of the whole game makes that fully excusable. The desktop version is of course not as good as its not in VR, but it's still quite great. Overall, this game is amazing and I can't wait until it reaches its peak of content.

Also, if the developer sees this, the ability to move the vr camera remotely would be nice. As in, the ability to move the camera during sex so it ends up in the right spot. (so you don't have to guess before you start)

Side note, this game is free on Steam. Personally I'd say its better to download it there.

(Edit: just wanted to let anyone reading know that i spent nearly 2 hours on this game solely in the initial barn. there's no lack of content whatsoever)

Vr game with full body tracking

As of this day, the game has been constantly updating with bug fixes, new contant and polishing. Full body tracking is also rare, since it requeres more work, but also makes the experience immersive in VR.

It's a really nice game, I wanted to play a sandbox game and I found this game. It's pretty good in terms of content, physics and graphics are also good, there are small details that other games do not have. The controls are also simple and good. The options in the character creation section are quite rich.

(+1 because I don't think VR has this particular fetish and those looking for it will like it and be happy for a time).

One of the best VR porn games for furrys right now. You can stoke, finger, suck, get fucked, fuck, rub and be pinned. What more can you ask for? Plus it's free! hell yes. I can't wait for more options but right now this is my go to and will be for a while.

As early as the progress in the game is, what I see here I really really enjoy, I'm a fan of big dragons, so this checks for me! Hopefully the dev will add more poses/customization options in the future!

Okie-dokie, since the time I originally wrote the review for this, I have now gotten myself a Quest 2, which is a little ironic since the dev is finally adding the desktop mode back into the game.

I'll review both the VR and non-VR parts of the game together where relevant, then review each part individually if necessary.

FarmD is a small-scale sandbox where you can have a male or female furry penetrate or be penetrated by a giant male... "drake", which looks more like a basic dinosaur or something, no wings, no fire breathing or anything, IDK.
There's some character customization for both you and the drake, with a little freedom on breast size or dick size where relevant.
You have sex with the drake in a barn, where there's a couple things to fool around with and a few spots to pick positions to screw around in.
The graphics overall are pretty simple, and the anthro MC is reasonably okay, with some little issues here and there.
I'm not really sure what the drake is supposed to be covered in, whether he's supposed to be scaled or furry or not, as he has the same matte texturing as the furry MC, as far as I can tell.
All in all, there's really not much to do yet, you have the furry sex the dragon a few times and that's it, there's no goals or unlocks (yet?) and so the game's replayability entirely depends on how quickly you get tired of watching the same few sex scenes over and over again.

VR:
I didn't play this much because it requires roomscale floorspace and things to physically lay down on IRL to work, as YOU are the one getting into position and there's no "point at something to automatically snap into the 'laying on that box' position".
Still, what little I did play, I wasn't super thrilled about fooling around with a dragon peen in first person (as opposed to the "tell the furry to get fucked" gameplay in the desktop version), so I'm hoping there'll be a female drake at some point reasonably soon, or that there's a 3rd person mode in VR later, IDK.
I ran into some minor glitches all over the place, but I'm reasonably sure some of them have been fixed, so I should probably verify that they have/haven't before I can judge the game for it.

Desktop:
Roughly the same thing as the VR version, except for the fact you don't have to stick a dragon dong down your IRL throat, and you don't have to have a 10'x10' space in your private room IRL to play the game.
Some content was lost during the code refactor, and thus your already-limited selection of things to do is slightly more limited, on top of things like the sex toys being unusable, and other stuff.
Controls feel a little janky, though I'm not sure exactly why, just something about it doesn't feel right.

(EDIT: for clarification, this review is out of date, I'll rewrite it at some point. TL;DR: most of my complaints have been solved, namely that VR doesn't require you to have a huge clear space to play it anymore, you can get away with a pretty small one now.)

Animations: 8/10 (need some improvements)
Graphics: 8/10
Particles: 7/10 (needs a lot of improvements)
Content: 9/10 (Very good for the first release on f95zone, but it still need a lot of works)
Gameplay: 9/10 (Controls are smooth but sometimes your camera angle may be bugged)
Sound: 7/10 (Not perfect, it still needs a lot of job to do)
Bugs: 9/10 (I only saw small bugs that they are not stopping you to play)

Pros:
+Character Creation (You can play as a male/female/futa but there should be more races)
+Your dragon pet can be on the top and you can be on the top Your choice.
+Some genres that we can't see in F95zone (fisting, cum-while-penetrated, feral-penetrated, knotting)

Cons:
-Some animations (like the face animations) are not good.
-Cumming is looking like spray paint
-No story and it will need a lot of content for becoming a pure-fapping game.
