If it is the English version, you should change the captures. One thing I look at is the dialogue on the captures.
Yes, that is obvious since the captures are in Ruski.
Check the Extras. I am sure it says Italian translation.

Everything except the last 3 images is just lazy, the dev couldn't even be bothered to layer the image so the white background didn't show. Doesn't give me a good impression to want to try it, as the writing probably isn't much better.

When character portraits have a white background because they weren't even cropped like a normal png file would be. Not sure if parody or incredibly lazy.

If you have imagination and a good imagination, a white background will not hurt you.

Don't be so cruel. this is his first pen test. as the creator of a narrative based on AI drawings, this is quite excusable. moreover, the 7th rule of the forum has been observed, which is quite commendable. so I wish the countryman (if so) good luck in developing and future projects.

The dev literally responded by telling the player that they should stop being lazy and edit the game image themselves, so I'd say some rudeness is warranted. Their excuse doesn't even work, as the images in the previews don't have any parts of the characters "cut off," so there's no reason why removing the white backgrounds would've been an issue.

The dev needs to take responsibility for their own output quality, rather than tell players to "use their imagination" and pretend the game is better than it is.
