i cannot open the game its says VCRUNTIME140.dll. its missing and other things missing what do i do?

How to re-open accidentally closed windows? And how can I fixate the windows, so that they enver move again when I press something wrong?
And whenever I click an option, the one with the notebook symbol, the game closes random windows and messes all windows up, and when I have them back and click that option again, it starts all over. Several options do this, actually.
I played the previous versions pleasurably, but in its current state, the game feels too much like a struggle against the machine to be entertaining.
The QSP player is seriously f**ked up!

I found your problem
you storyline=10 and paulina_rest_papik should be=0 but yours paulina_rest_papik=1
if get paulina_rest_papik=1 definite storyline=11, this may be a bug or something
script in the game:
ACT 'Sit down at the table':
if paulina_beach=1 and paulina_rest_papik=0 and storyline=10:gt'mh_show_1a'
gt'rest_stolik'
END
and get paulina_rest_papik=1 and storyline=11

For the last 2 or 3 releases I have lost the option to start the "meat hole" storyline. After the beach nothing ever happens when i go and sit in the restaurant, I saw that someone else had this problem a year ago. Any ideas, or am i missing something obvious (which is usually the case)?
Use the top menu to reopen subwindows (IIRC it's called something like appearance/view)
I don't think there's an option for that unfortunately
I never had this problem before, maybe there's something corrupt, try to redownload the game..
100% agree with you, it's an obsolete game system on every possible aspect

Gonna give this a try at some point in the near future. Just so I know where I want to place it on my play order. Are you kind of forced to play a bit like a slut in this one or does this offer slutty and non slutty paths.

So I came back to this game after quite awhile since I had bugs with the UI last time... And um... I'm having a very different issue this time. I've done Paulina's questline on the beach, but I didn't end up going to the restaurant for a few days after and I can't see to get her event at the restaurant in the city center to fire off now... Because of that I can never meet Albert... So I'm kinda stuck... Any suggestions?
