Ren'Py - Finding Cloud 9 [v0.7.2] [Onyx Decadence]

I haven't tried the game before due to my allergy to sandbox but it plays like a VN. Maybe it would be better to get rid of the map but right now is no problem at all. Renders are good and the sex secenes are pretty good. On the other hand it takes a while to reach the chapters with sex, so maybe some players will discard the game early due to the lack of sex. It can be avoided easily adding a couple of sex scenes with the stripper or other girls earlier but that's my opinion.

Storywise and when it comes to kinks this is quite tame for a game about drug dealing and the mob. Better than the usual tenant fucks landlady and co. but still that's the base of the game when you get rid of the breaking bad paint. At first I thought the corruption/good guy points would play into how the MC deal with the girls and the rest but so far I've only seen vanilla harem tropes.

Overall this is a good vn but it can be better with little changes imo.

The game's story is very good, it has some twists and turns that keep you hooked and make you want to keep playing, the characters are beautiful, one better than the other, and the scenes are very well done, my only criticism is in relation to the map because there were times when I loaded my save and it got bugged in that mission at the beginning where you have to talk to the two characters in the house who are in the kitchen and to solve this I had to start all over again, another thing that the game needs is another way to pass the time other than going back to the room all the time, that's very tiring if there was another way to pass the time it would be much better, other than that the game is good and worth it

I believe this will slip under the radar but it crazy good. The characters are super well-written, with actual depth and personal backstories that make them feel real—especially the girls, who are way more than just eye candy or love interests. The romantic and steamy moments come across as natural and earned, which makes them way more satisfying. The music sets mood quite nicely inbetween scenes. This is somewhat of a slow-burn with some the girls that keeps things interesting, and it’s clear the game values emotional connection over instant hookups—so if you’re just looking for quick action, this probably isn’t it. On top of that, the art’s great, the girls look amazing, and the animations are really solid and massive improvement after Ep.7. The dev has something special here and having such a clear and thoughtful vision in this game. Can't wait for next update!

Great game. From the rare category of games that you can play several times and still enjoy. Good crime story. Very nice characters. Excellent graphics, there are animations. The ability to make real choices that affect the plot, hence many options for the development of events. Key choices are highlighted in a different color. Rate the clear and simple interface of the game (no need to walkthrough). No errors during the game. In general, I recommend trying it.

on the darker side of games I have played on here. This is a gem of a game. This made me feel very appreciative of my life. I think this is definitely worth a spin, there is already a lot of content and ultimately, the isn't a lack of cohesion. The game is very streamlined and is in no way grindy

One hell of a game, the story is really captivating, you can feel the MC's growth each chapter, as a kid who is inexperienced in maybe everything, partying with his friends, NEEDING to grow up as fast as possible. The coming of age is superb.

Also, i don't care much for the sex scenes when i play these games, but the animations are seriously impressive, the tongue animation during the BJs is hot as fuck. This game is gorgeous and the production value is really high.

The sandbox mechanic is something i missed in the last chapter, but i can agree that it was kinda pointless in this game. If it will bring us faster updates i'm all for it.

This thread is one of the rare ones where the rating is high but no hints on anything. Some choices made are tough to guess the future implications. I see a lot of comments that the MC is wimpy.
I consider myself still new in this genre of games but played (including the ones who "survived" 10mins) many and the MC is actually well carved out and I can relate to the argumentation of the dev regarding his evolution.
In conversations he is actually strong, the only part that I didn't like is when he had closer actions with the ladies, then it was always like " Wha..." ""Oh" "uh" "uhm" which didn't fit to his overall "charisma" but he is getting better, so overall a pleasant MC for a change.
It's not a game where you jump from one sex scene to the other, sometimes I prefer that as a simple dumb approach to play, here the ratio of play time vs "fun" is in the negative for fun and yet still enjoyable and hoping I will get all of them at the end .
The story is good, all the ladies a great. And I admit, I also like harem games, I play this stuff to get away from reality (though this ain't really fantasy but ...) and there are simply too many nice and sexy ladies, so a good happy end is to make many happy.

Happily giving this game 5 star based on current content. The models are gorgeous, visually the game is beautiful, animations flow seamlessly with no glitching and most important it has a plot/story that is solid and sucks you into the game. Dev is producing a professionally sublime game here. Hope it is as solid when they finish the game.

Didn't expect much from this one, so perhaps low expectations impacted my POV. Nevertheless, i really liked this game and i'd recommend at least giving it a shot. And i'm a bit biased towards criminal drama as it's one my favorite genres. Everything is subjective, and my review is no exception ofc.

Not very much of adult content in there (sex scenes), but what's present is defo above average at the very least, it's not some boring robotic loop and one position. I'd recommend to improve sex scene dialogues, 'cause phrases like "AAOAOA" are just cringe. Make MC take initiative more often in future updates, so far it's the all girls taking initiative to start sex scenes.

Visual part is really good, much better than probably 90% of whatever's present on F95. Renders are good in quality, models looks awesome, and aside from some occasional clipping (like hands clipping through clothing) it's pleasant to look at. I like the body diversity for the girls as well, or rather, i like what is present. They're all pretty much fit, slender, got a juicy bumper on them (big, but not too big imo), and then there's Riley. I mean holy shit that woman is THICC. Not chubby, not fat, she's fit as well.

Now for the story. Read some opinions that MC is a sub dumbass just following orders, and usually i'd agree 'cause, again, usually, MC is a grown ass adult just being stupid. In this case, however, i agree to disagree, 'cause imo, i think MC following orders is justified due to his inexperience in criminal world. Yes, perhaps just doing what his "stepdad" told him to do after the arrest was idiotic, i just think MC trusted him enough not to fuck up as much as he did, and pull MC into the deepest shithole. The way i see it, MC is barely an adult and scared shitless, not only for his own wellbeing, but for Riley and Elizabeth. I mean, the Dealer calls MC in the middle of the night, pulls up next to his house and threatens him and his family. At the end of the current update (ch. 6) you can see MC taking some control over his life back, potentially building a criminal organization of his own or helping that fucking bitch Chloe taking down existing ones. So all in all, the first impression is good.

Character are quite nice. Usually there are at least one LI who is such a huge turn off, being a bitch or just unpleasant, annoying, irritating, take your pick. Found no one here from said categories (subjectively ofc), except maybe Chloe, but even she's not really annoying, just a manipulative cunt, which, given her profession, is understandable.

Don't mind the sandbox tag btw, 'cause it's not much of a sandbox rather than ability to choose what scene you want to see next. No grind, no pointless clicking except for a couple of times, but even then, it's okay. And i'm saying this as the biggest hater of sandbox. A LOT of content for a year, saw quite a few games with even less content with longer development time.

I remember playing first few minutes of episode 1 and deleting this one. When I saw the mc stats screen I got annoyed and deleted it cause I don't enjoy that type of sandbox games. But I'm glad I give this one a chance now. Even though this one's a sandbox game it's easy sandbox no grind. And not enough stats won't block you from paths. You may sime some dialogues that's all. But if you want that too set your charisma to 7 and another one stat to 7.

I really enjoyed the story, cause I'm also a fan of breaking bad. Yep seems like in the future Mc can become a drug lord.
Loved the pace of the game this one's not a fuck feast where girls falls instantly for Mc. There is proper pace for it dev building relationship nicely. I love games where stoy is more important.

Why make a sandbox THAT HAS NO PURPOSE in every game??

This is so annoying and so confusing as to why even do it. If the game needs to be played linearly why do I need to click what the next predetermined action will be every few minutes.

Apart from that it's fine.

Overall, great game!

Good renders, story is not that bad, and the love interests are all very pretty.

I would easily recommend this game, and as i see, it deservers more attention and recognition.

Story is mostly interesting and girls are hot. Not too fast paced and builds up the character relationships nicely.

Renders are really good and after 5.1 update the UI navigation got much better. Still would improve the arrow navigations because in home I always press the wrong one.

Story reminds me little bit of Breaking Bad and RDR2 mix. Not the most interesting that make you want to read every dialog but still want to know what is happening. But really like how the relationship with the girls are developed. Some complain that MC is too submissive but I see it more of char/story development in survival in the new life of his.

The character models look amazing and I mean just really fucking amazing. But that's about it.

Story
The story seems kind of interesting but this game definitely needs a proofreader and I clicked through shit at high-speed because I wasn't about to read that borked grammar. There's definitely shit where you'll have to suspend your disbelief but it's an AVN so whatever. No real high standards here.

Grammar and spelling:
- WTF! OMG. Stop. Think about it for a fucking second. Would anyone in real life say "WTF" aloud like that? No. Maybe back in the day, people would say "OMG" but don't pretend "WTF" is a normal thing people say in-person. It's a story. Not a text message or online message.
- "Why not" "Let's go" - These are just two off the top of my head but one is a question and one is a statement. I'll never understand when people put question marks at the end of statements and then the next sentence, put a period at the end of a question.
- Put the damn currency symbol before the amount. I remember looking that up before to see whether that's an actual thing and couldn't find much on it.

Sandbox elements/Free roam:
Feels kind of pointless and this is coming from someone who actually likes sandbox VNs.
If you got rid of it entirely, it could just be a choice menu that popped up like:
1. Go see so-and-so
2. Go see the guy.
3. blah blah blah

That would all more or less be forgivable if there were more scenes:
A lot of hot looking characters and there's almost nothing to do with 90% of them. If the story's meh, the grammar's no good, and the game mechanics are redundant then the one thing to fall back on would just be scenes with characters. Yet I think I got 6 whole scenes from 5 episodes and 5 out of 6 are just handjobs and BJs.

I'm really sorry but I don't think this is good enough to be a slow burn. Although, honestly I can't get past the terrible grammar to determine whether I enjoy the story all that much. It's like the literary equivalent of nails on a chalk board.

I still have plans to come back to this one eventually when I have the time. But the occasional "likes" I get each time there's a new update or as time passes in general don't really instill a lot of confidence that anything's improving.

Honestly this game features the best character models i have ever seen in a game on this site. Every girl is non-identical and they all have their own unique characteristic and background. The story is interesting enough to keep me attached to the screen, regardless of the half-baked gameplay. And another fact that bugs me the most is the lack of sex scenes, or even teasing ones. Nevertheless, the game is still in progressing so i have faith in it, really looking forward to more NSFW content.

Great game so far who deserve more publicity, the renders and the scenes are very good, the story holds up well and the renders are top notch. Animations could use some improvement but that's just me quibbling.

I cannot really give it anything less than 5/5. The quality is too high for anything less... Some of the most beautiful women I've every seen. The fact that it has an options to skip most of the navigation and other boring (for me, I am sure other ppl find this fan) is a big plus for me. The only "complain" that I have is that the sex scenes are limited (but I have that will change), short and without any control (not sure if the last part is bad). I am really looking forward for the next version.

Cant say i found the story any good, you might like it if you enjoy being everyones slave and extremly submissive if not then theres no point in trying this one.

MC first get asked by hes stepdad to deliver something illigal and MC is more then happy to help him out.....i mean fair enough but when the stepdad gets arrested and leaves MC a note saying he has to take over and deliver drugs and shit thats where the story gets idiotic, why would MC risk it or even consider it when he could just turn it all over to the cops and ask for protection, starting to deliver drugs to dangerous people can only lead to a shit show both for him self and the family so its just to stupid.

Then he takes some weird girl with him to the stepdads drug lab and she starts ordering him around, clean this and do that and MC is just a submissive idiot doing whatever hes told.....and what does MC think "shes absoultly stunning"....thats just awfull then she says sorry and MC forgives her being a bitch, he might as well drop on hes knees and beg for a cookie...

Then theres the hole stat system thing, if you dont have the right stats it pops up with dialog options that just say "nah just forget it" that just gets annoying, those stats pretty much ruins the fun of playing when you cant do anything or say anything.

And game tells you its to help the family, but if they knew belive me they wouldent want MC to do any of it and going behind their backs just like the stepdad is just putting a second knive in the families backs....it only shows its poor writting and a brainless MC, i mean you could make a drug dealer game in many ways but this one is just to shitty.

The game really should have been over when MC gets shot at and he falls down in the water, then it would all make perfect sense.....but no MC survives and is brainless so he goes stright back to the shit instend of seeking help and again risking hes own life and hes family.....story is really this bad...

And no it dosent get any better.....MC will go on being 100% submissive, accepting when people tell him that they own him and he has to do whatever they say whenever...i just dont enjoy this type of MCs, walking around saying sorry to people who treats him like a dog...i mean come on....

MC ends up fully trusting the drug dealers and tell them everything about everythinig, MC seems to like to trust people who he should never trust and not once does je think about how he can get out of the mess, but insted he acts like they are all family....helping with body removal, learning how to make drugs, robbing people, the word no is not a word MC knows like at all, so yeah again sooo damn submissive, and ofcause theres never a choice given to the player about anything, MC just keeps thinking "oh fuck i keep getting deeper and deeper into this shit" not sure how he can be so clueless when he never says no or stand up for him self or even try to find a way out....

Most of the girls are either on drugs or criminals which leaves out alot of LIs when not into either of those types, but MC seems to think every girl he sees is hot, idiotic thing to make MCs thought process like that since it ruins any chance of keeping the immersion going if the player thinks shes an ugly bitch.

The sandbox part is not bad, its mostly just annoying having to click maps and arrows and it has 0 reasons for being a sandbox, all it does is give you the "freedom" to do quests in the order you want, but nothing changes no matter what order you do things, my guess is the sandbox is there to hide the kinetic novel tag since its a very linear questline.

They all look bland, not really any hot ones and theres pretty much no diversity in builds its like the made a copy/paste of the bodies and put a diffrent head on each and it really dosent help when i dunno 75% is on drugs or a criminal that MC should stay away from....

Hard to rate this one since all there is at the moment is a BJ scene, but for what its worth it was looking very good so if the real sex scenes are as good it will be great.

Proberly the best part of the game, even songs with lyrics but it cant carry a novel on music...

Theres barely any choices and none that matters, its all out kinetic when it comes to the main story and as for relationship who knows, it does seem like you have a choice which is extremly rare in a sandbox game so thats a plus.


If this game had any kind of choices so it would be the players choice to do stuff or not, it would have been a million times better, just being a submissive slave is just not my kind of fun and it really makes the story fail and not making any sense, i mean if they ask him to kill someone he has to kill someone its going so far out of the park for a young kid to just blindly follow along with everything.

I almost gave this 3 stars but the story is 80% to me and adult part 15% and everything else 5% and to me story was really bad and theres no sex scenes at all so cant really justify more then 2 stars.

The Pros:

The Cons:

- Dialogue can be used better, sometimes sentences and such can be reworded.
- Sandbox could be easier the navigate through. While it's far from being terrible, I feel that things could be added like a instant bedroom button and/or a skip time feature.


I tried this game and while it's not perfect it's entertaining to say the least. I'm kind of over the whole young MC and crime sthick that pops up every so often but that's usually because it's done horrible most of the time. I think the author tries to make it realistic while at the same time add his or her share of drama and suspense. It's not all over the place, no side stories from side characters. The story is constantly moving forward which I respect. I'm a breaking Bad fan as well and liken our MC to a Jesse Pinkman without the drug habit. The pace with Riley is nice and slow but I have my eye on Callista, Sabrina and Chloe.

I can see myself supporting this type of project. Best of luck to the dev.
