This is probably the worst idea I could have had, creating a visual novel. I tried to take the easy route, couldn't get Honey Select to work right, and now I'm going to take the hard route. Will I succeed? I don't know. Might I end up giving up halfway through? Yes, but fuck it

They actually are, because they're more shapely. And my advice to every starting artist is to practice breaking things into basic shapes. Good luck my man!

No, I'm not. I just have always found drawing fems harder than guys because with a guy it seems like there is lots of straight lines and the hips are basically the chest and the chest is flat. Women are complicated, so I found it interesting you both found them easier due to that shapliness.

I may just be terrible at it too so that's an option also! :)

Background, map, call it what you want. This is an important part of a game, of course, if it's a normal game and not an NSFW one. I'll be honest with you, when I'm playing, fuck the background, I'm here for the boobs! But now I'm on the other side, and my friend, what a mess

I don't know what to do right in this part, I know what I want, I have the maps in mind, but the truth is that it will take time, I think about painting, but not in a realistic way, but leaving it defocused, I've seen some games use it and I thought it was good

I was supposed to do that yesterday, but I had to go out to do some work. When I got back, I had to go out again, and when I finally had time, it was 5 p.m., and I woke up at 6 a.m. I had zero desire to do anything other than play games. I felt like shit

In addition to finishing the ones I've already done, I still have to do about five more characters, but tomorrow I'll probably do a scene. How many do I plan to do? No idea, for now, I have the scenes in my head, my problem is knowing which ones are really necessary, but I'll leave that for later

Damn, my back! My back! It took me about three hours to do this job, which normally takes people an hour or less, but for someone who started drawing last week, I think I'm doing pretty well! I think...

This is just the first of several scenes I plan to do. The beginning of my visual novel is going to be quite a complicated, which means more work, which isn't bad, it'll just take time. And as you can see, it's a Goblin. I based it on the Goblins from Goblin Slayer - violent, with some pretty heavy parts, but I recommend it. I left the feet for later because of the perspective problem, but I managed the hands, and they didn't turn out great, but I don't think they turned out bad either!

The scene is very different in my head, but it involves a lot of perspective, so I kept it simpler. Well, tomorrow I plan to finish one of my drawings, add the finishing touches, and start working on the color. It might turn out bad, but I'm going to do it!

It's far from perfect, but I like it!

This was my first time seriously painting one of my drawings. I should have finished it a long time ago, but obviously coloring a drawing is not easy. I looked at videos, took classes, and did other things I had to do as well. Obviously, the point is that there's a lot to take into account, the relationship between colors, their tones. You should never paint anything completely black or white, because then there's no way to shade or add light, which are also very important things.

There's also the issue of folds, the characters' clothes, which should be done based on movement, where even knowing the movement, it's still difficult to know exactly where to put the folds in the clothes, or even create the effect of stretching them!

Anyway, it's a lot to take in, there's no way someone who started drawing a week ago can absorb everything, put it into practice, and do awesome work like Murata - although there's no way to compare myself to him, the guy is the definition of genius in drawing, One Punch Man my brother, the manga is beautiful

Finally, I had a problem with the hands, I left them as they were because drawing hands sucks, and as you can see, besides looking bad, the left one looks like it's under the shoe, I'm obviously going to redo it, I just wanted to show it before that
