I plan on starting my own project in the near future, but I'm also working with making SFX so time isn't really on my side here. Any tips on what I can do to better improve my rendering skills? Mostly only have renders of characters with no BGs (interior and exterior environments are painfully hard for me to grasp/understand. My comprehension has gone down considerably since the pandemic started). Explain to me like I'm five years old, because I'm completely new to this.
