[Rating v2.0.1]
If you're familiar with TheDarck67's previous projects you shouldn't be surprised that I rated this so low.
The game looks really high quality. The preview pictures make the game looks very promising. But once you strap yourself into the game you'll find that it runs at a very nice and smooth -5 fps and that the "free roam" mode (ie the mode where all the preview pictures are taken) is completely broken. For referance, I'm playing this game on an oculus quest 2 that's hooked up to my pc. My pc isn't the best of the best but it's good enough to run average vr games along with higher quality flatscreen games, but god almighty this game runs like shit. I get that this game very clearly made for the valve index but I've heard that people running the valve index are running into similar issues. Plus, who even uses a valve index? Why not just make the game run on more than one vr console? And while youre at it, make the game playable at least.
The adventure mode was the only mode I could play since the free roam was broken. It's more of a short demo more than anything; you follow Frenni down to the basement because something was down there making a lot of noise. You find a dismantled scrap baby, but her back together, and then the demo ends. It's not terrible but it's just a glorified fetch quest with -5 fps being the cherry on top. For some reason, the developer thought it would be a good idea to have 5 million particle effects near scrap baby so whenever you get close to her to assemble her, your performance dies on the spot. No sex scenes either, which is really dissapointing.
Tldr; Poor framerate, free roam is broken, not really anything remarkable. Just wait for a future release before bothering to try it out.
