Ren'Py Font colour

So I am playing a game, the font size isn't bad, but it is a white font and there are a lot of white/bright backgrounds, and well I need glasses but don't have the money.

Is there any way to maybe change the colour of the text, I really do not want to muck around with game files as it is a new game and maybe someone might make a mod for the game, if it matters win10 and the game is 30 days.

Generally you can open the game files and look for where gui.text_color is set and edit it to the color you want.

A more nuclear solution if you just want more contrast is to add an outline to all dialogues, so if the game isn't using outlines you could try adding the annex file into your /game folder and it will add black outlines to most text.

Ah I see, yeah it does use outlines around the text.
