The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on v0.5.3...
I've seen the exact same game mechanics, same rooms, and much of the same types of locations in several other VN/Games already... This is yet another Incest corruption grinder...
The visuals of the characters are you're typical Honey Select style Asian characters... A good majority of the backdrops are pretty much almost exactly the same as I've already seen many times already in this style of corruption game... Almost to the point of being carbon copies... The animations, are typical of Honey Select, but the BJ scenes look totally fake, with the penis growing and shrinking in length, rather then going in and out of the female characters mouth... The navigation is simple and works well... There are some animations, but not always... Sometimes the developers use a form start-stop photography format for a decent chunk of the sex scenes, rather then always sticking with the HS animations every time... You also can not skip the animation sequences, but need to let them play out before being able to space bar or left click to the next step...
The script is alright, with some broken English here and there, and a few grammar errors... The story concept is a slightly different one, then others just like this VN/Game, but you can tell by the game mechanics, that this VN/Game is mostly a redressing, of several other titles of the same game play design... The VN/Game revolves around a male protagonist, living with his family, with the mechanics of the game, being that he needs to raise money, to buy materials, to make doses of a corruption drink, then gives that drink to the various female characters, which in turn increases their corruption and his control over them... Even the wording he gives as an excuse for them to drink it up, is practically word for word the same as in several other VN/Games, as I mentioned before... There is so little originality, visually or game play mechanics, outside of the introduction story...
During the introduction, which all in all wasn't so bad (maybe slightly confusing with a few things said), I thought that perhaps this would be an entirely different take on a corruption/sex slave game design... But disappointingly, it wasn't... It fell into the same exact methodology as other VN/Games before it... And the others it's kind of mimicking are still in development themselves... Which is sad...
To help with confusion in the beginning, you really need to pay attention to what the characters tell you, so you know where to go and when to go there, to push the story long, up to the point of the more grindier elements... Otherwise you might get lost on what to do... I do like that you need to pay attention to the story, up until you don't...
Some recommendations for ease of life: Allow more then one drug to be purchased from the best friend with each visit, to cut down on the repetition of purchasing it... Allow more then one dose to be made at a time, for 1 time period... Rather then having you, repetitiously, repeat it, and waste the game day away doing so... This will help cut the grind down a little bit... Unless you prefer it stay like it is... You can waste entire game days just getting ingredients and making doses, which feels like it just makes the game feel more grindy, then it should be...
There also feels like there is a plot hole with the Twin Sister... She almost feels like an ally in his decision to use the slave formula, and she even asks the protagonist (her twin) to not use it on her after helping him... There should be an option to allow her to conspire with him, without the need to use the formula on her... Perhaps make it a choice, enslave her or maker her a willing participant in his plot... That would help, perhaps, break away from the copy cat feel of this VN/Game... Just an idea...
There is a posted bug with regards to the Skip mechanic within Ren'py for this game, so I recommend never using it, at least until the developer works out the problem and gets it fixed...
Overall, for what it is and what it is trying to do, it's a low to average representation of others of it's kind... Of course, it is still way early in development for us to know if it is going to break away from the copy cat formula, or pretty much stay the current course... It is early enough, to perhaps be a little bit original, but we'll have to wait and see if that might happen... Do NOT play this VN/Game thinking it's a Visual Novel with a rich story and meaningful characters... For now, it's a corruption porn fest grinder... Will I revisit this one? I don't know, maybe I'll check back later into it's development to see what others are saying, and try it again, if it makes some positive changes from it's current incarnation...
