My Rpg dev gave me a shocker today. After completing 40% of day2 He is suddenly told he can't work with the project anymore. I tried my best to negotiate to finish it. He says he can't do it. This is a big Tragedy. I thought he would finish it by this week and then I would release the update ASAP testing was done.
I have again requested for Recruitment. Hoping someone will reply and join me and finish the work which is remaining. Man i am really very very frustrated what the hell is happening with this project. I can only do it now if somehow I am not able to release an update from now i will keep Payment pause until Update is released. Every work is completed just Rpg section is remaining that is also of day 2 part 2
I will change the game engine to renpy if this problem with RPG dev continues and if I am not able to recruit anyone.
I will inform you in the comment section if someone joins me to finish the remaining unfinished rpg work.

Honestly, he should just ditch the puzzles and gameplay for the last remaining portion of the game. The plot is better

Im really getting wiffs of bullshit here. It feels like the dev is just trying any way they can to drag their feet. Due to the fact hes said hes pausing payment, im not assuming its to continue grifting his patrons, but likely because their not working on the game. The only real proof that any work has been done, was a couple teasers, whih could have already been created years ago, for all we really know. And now, hes suddenly hit another roadblock with whoever designed the rpg maps and battles, which were not anything special, anyway. At this point, it would be prudent to compile the scenes into ren'py, because thats what people are wanting to see anyway. who cares about some 5 minute filler puzzles and uninspired turn based battles? Throw a few non-canon ntr bad ends in for losing a battle, or making a wrong decision, and call it an update lol.

I do vote for Renpy conversion. The hardest part of building a Renpy VN is generating the images and videos. If you have already done that, you are already halfway there. The RPGM combat in this game was punishing and unforgiving anyway.

yea, it would be a relatively simple process of transposing the dialogue, and pictures, maybe adding few more generic scenery pictures for a bit of filler. Too bad ol' boy isnt taking a vote on this, so it doesnt matter, ive already made my opinion known on what this guy's doing.

Completely disagree.
Conversing this to Renpy will take away all the charm that NTR gameplay has to offer, as well the uniqueeness of this game.

It's the "skip" crowd, they whine about having to play a porn game for content and majority of rpgm games there is hidden content etc that can only be effective as a rpgm game

"Only" is a pretty loaded word. The only thing that RPGM offers that a VN sandbox doesn't is NES Legend of Zelda-style walking about and Final Fantasy style combat. Neither is essential to the particular story this VN is telling, where the protagonist is just a chump who is going to lose no matter how much he wins. This game isn't built like a mystery-style NTR game, but an action/adventure style one. If the dev had the capacity to continue developing an action/adventure RPGM game like what NLT media does with their incest/harem games, that would be one thing. However, that is not the reality. Renpy might not be the ideal option, but may be the next best option given the circumstances.
