Ren'Py - Four Elements Trainer [v1.1.4c] [Mity]

I did not like it. I have no idea why but the game was stuck in several parts with no way to progress. And the interaction is quite terible, i dont know how this game actualy got 5 stars until now. All the story is quite messed up and the quests are not intuitive.

FET is one of my first games I played here and after playing so many games still admire it, in second part of the game there was different ending base on MC choices and I got amazed by level of sophistication that story could have .
Characters and emotions are very genuine and well-designed, it's wondering how far it can go , there is great story , gorgeous artwork and moving lines , these are enough for any player to hook on .
I really love Four Element Trainer, great job Mity.

I love all the content in this fandom. That includes the minigames, story, cutscenes, portrayal of the characters and their personalities.

This game is quite fun to play. I like how they still kept the childish joking side of Avatar while making it a adult game. Next to R&M a way back home this has to be the best I've ever played. Just hope they find a way to keep continuing the story!

You don't need me to tell you how good this game is, you'll see literally hundreds of reviews below this touting everything that's fantastic about it, from the original art assets, to the minigame variety that makes the grind as engaging as the porn, to the catering to dozens of niche fetishes, while also making sure that they're optional for the people who don't want them (I went in for some of the harder stuff, but not others, and having that individual option was great to have).

The people behind this game deserve high praise, and this is one of the games that put me on to the ren'py format in the first place, all the way back in the book 2 era. Been hopping on for most of the updates ever since, and I can't wait to see what else the epilogue has to offer.

Almost done with the first (water tribe) area and I'd say it's overall pretty mediocre.

There's a ton of extra clicking involved that's becoming a serious drag, even with skipping, such as the daily "Check mail" dialogue. The game also skips ahead to night time without any warning, such as when speaking to the shop owner (what? why?), which is a bit aggravating. This is compounded by dialogue options that skip to daytime when you get in the habit of wanting to "Check mail" to get a bit more money before you sleep. These are overall my biggest complaints. Perhaps I'm just used to a bit more freedom in other RenPy games.

The humor is occasionally good, but mostly falls flat as slapstick and juvenile (guess I shouldn't be surprised).

The animations are decent. Just pictures moving at 1 FPS for the most part.

Nothing really profound here. Just the usual vanilla missionary/blowjob/doggystyle positions so far.

The ability to choose your path between "Love route" and "Slave route" is a thumbs up, though, and at least opens the available playthroughs from once to twice.

EDIT: Just finished water tribe (Book 1) area and I'm reducing my review from 3/5 to 2/5. You have to find a "secret" in order to "beat" the area and move on, which is insanely frustrating after you've been clicking hundreds of times to get through mediocre content. The provided walkthrough on Github is no help at all in this, although that isn't the game author's fault.

The game is complete.
The story was pretty good, each act was enjoyable along with having two paths in which you can choose to play through. The grammar was good as well a small bit of typos/misspellings here and there. The scenes themselves were fairly decent for this style of game. The game has a decent amount of variety in kinks so there should be something of everyone.

Overall I rate this a 4/5 I enjoyed my time.

As the game progresses it gets more story heavy and keeps introducing more horrible OC characters, many of them straight up disgusting. The ''artist'' can't draw anything but someone from the front like in the promotional art, yet every single time there is any sex scene he will do these weird angles that he can't draw like from the bottom. It looks insanely stupid and he draws those angles only because of the constant piss fetish shit. You are looking at an abomination from below because the girl is going to piss on you with bright yellow sick kidney stone piss while she gapes her nasty looking badly drawn vagina.
And then you need to play awful minigames for hours to progress. Every chapter introducing more stupid minigames and more filler content.

A great parody and surprisingly passionate about The Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra. As someome who has watching ATLA time and time again, my first thought is that it would not really be about the show. However, after playing for hours and hours, each book on the game, you can really see how the creators know about the show and its characters. And as a parody, it also work really well on delivering a fun and refreshing experience for people that know about the show, and people who don't. As for the +18 content, it is really well developed, both in the writing and drawing/animating. I'm honestly glad i played it, excellent game!

The extent of my knowledge of the Avatar universe was that clip of Korra where someone dubbed it with the 37 dicks lines from Clerks. That's the lot. Decided to give it a whirl anyway.

First thing then, for anyone reading this, is that you really don't need to know anything about it to enjoy the story. I'm sure some things went over my head, or I would've appreciated characters more, but I never found it important. If you just want a mix of hentai, mini-games, and training girls then go for it.

Second thing is, the humour is really good. I only played the "slave" route but in that the main character is the perfect balance of loveable rogue and total asshole. Kind of reminds me of Archer in a way. He's as awful as can be but we can't help but like him.

The story grows from a slow start and brings our experiences together. It's actually well written to say it's a time travel plot that never has a gaping plot hole. There's progression, the ending is a little lacklustre but at that point it's far more about the characters you've met along the way and the force of character's goals has organically shifted from being a hero to fucking everyone in sight.

Only bugs I encountered were a couple of crashes caused by me using the scrollback wheel during one of the very late minigames (the spinners) and otherwise no issues.

My advice, look through a bit of character art and if you think you'd enjoy a game in which you get to use and abuse them is for you then it's really hard to see how this could be a disappointment.

Very well made game. Have to give full marks.

Probably the best porn game out there on everything. Funny dialogue, great scenes, immersive plot. There's a ton to love especially if your a fan of the series! Hate to see that it's pretty much finished but I still find myself playing it from the beginning and going through the various routes that the game has to offer.

I've been here since there was only a book one. Really great game and i feel kinda sad that it is finally complete. If you saw this game for the first time than you should definitely play it, you wont regret.

Sinked hours into this game, it's weird to see it completed... but it's great ! Has it's own style and humor, while still having this ATLA feels.
Honestly a top tier game, don't let the rough Book 1 deter you, it gets better from there.

I sometimes will be going throughout my day, then suddenly have this urge to see more of Four Elements Trainer, then get sad that I've seen everything. It really is an experience that stuck with me.

There were moments where I can see some people being turned off by some of the content but I believe there was always another option in those instances so as far as a porn game goes it has something for almost everyone. Great art, good writing, also ran nicely which can sometimes be a problem with games of this length. Worth every minute. Definitely in my top 10.

Nice, full blown game, the art is really meh. It's a good game, if you want to really play a "game", but it's almost not fappable.

[Story]- There's a lot of originality and creativity with both the Romance and Slavery routes. The further you get in chapters, the more elaborate it becomes, and more characters to deal with. Starting from chapter 2, the plot is quite entertaining. Unfortunately, there's too much gameplay involved in every chapter, and it takes too much effort(replaying the game) to be able to view the alternate path.

From beginning to finish, there is a nice, completely plot line that has a few endings and a very nice post game that is still incomplete...

[Gameplay]- This game has some really #$%^ farming mechanics. You have to earn A LOT of resources either by manually repeating some mini-game or cycling days for some daily income, but the worst part is that you have to perform tasks daily in order to get that income like visiting and talking to someone or doing upkeep on and milking some cows. Repeating these mundane tasks is just annoying and dumb.

Like wise, chapters 1 and 2 involve a lot of "farming" the story tasks. It is not well driven, and you have no idea what you're supposed to do a lot of the time. I used the mod(which, unfortunately, only goes up to chapter 2), and most of the time, I get stuck on x mini-game must be played x more times before you can FIND another scene. That's right, you don't even know there's another scene, you have to bumble around every day trying to find the next instance. Even more annoying are the multiple "alternate" scenes for the same animation that you have to rewatch to get progression, and you also have no idea when the next set is unlocked.

Chapter 3 is a bit better, as you mostly know when you've hit the end of the line with something. Unfortunately, it is EXTREMELY elaborate, and there are many things you have to do, in order. Some parts are VERY hard to figure out, as you get no hints on whose story you need to progress next. It kind of even misleads you with information for a quest that's a few events down the line. It's really good story telling, the figuring out aspect is also pretty fun, until you're stuck, and then it's not. There are a handful of possible locations and people you can interact with to TRY to progress, but it just becomes tedious when you guess wrong and have to cycle through them all to find it. As usual, the annoying mini-game, daily tasks, and scenes farming aspects are present.

Chapter 4 is more like 3 chapters in one, with a significantly higher amount of playtime, also with a lot more differences in available scenes depending on chosen route... You won't have access to some characters at all. There is an overabundance of turning over rocks, as individual characters/pairs are unlock new sex options with each "arc". There is some relief, as there's one easy way to earn money by abusing rollback. However, the slow, stacking, watch and repeat sequence minigame at the beginning is terrible.

[Scenes]- A Each main girl has one of each general sexual act type(oral, anal, etc...), and they vary for each character. Characters get additional story driven scenes. Most of the side characters get at least 1 scene. There are a variety of positions, but a Lot of these scenes make the characters look unflatteringly unattractive. The circumstances that leads to the various scenes are quite sexy, but in the end, the quality is just not there.

Additionally, certain scenes are A LOT sexier than others, but you won't even know if you've missed them, because there is no gallery or scene tracking, and the content IS locked behind certain paths and actions. With the incredible length of the game, it is just not feasible to explore it to try to "find" the content you don't even know about. This is a very good "game", but as a porn game, it is quite bad.

There is a post game, where you seem to be able to get new scenes with most of the chapter 4 characters, all repeatable, but it's still in development. It kind of serves as fap mode, but it still suffers from the flaw that only some of the scenes look Good, and that you cannot view previous chapters' scenes.

v1.0.0g. very fun game with hours worth of content. a nice comedic parody. good art. 2 paths to be taken for each girl. the only problem i have is a lack of direction to the players. the game is very railroaded after giving he initial option of which path you would like to take. i am aware that a walkthrough is linked in the post, however this walkthrough is also very railroaded and tells you exactly what to do step by step rather than telling you what to do for x result.

short: Better than Official Korra
long: After clearing the game multiple times, I can confirm the grind is real, butt it doesn't matter much for me since the story on the love route is pretty good.
-And the ending on book 4 makes me feel very sad and hope that stuff in book4 happens in the real show, and the game actually makes me watch the show again, pretty good job on the dev writing
