I think the cliffhanger is going to be something to do with Cassie probably her finally showing up
I mean look at what they have teased about the next update, it doesn't really scream "Will have an extended scene of Guy "date raping" someone.... especially considering from a story perspective it pretty much has to be done at his apartment because otherwise it just adds more choices.I guess we'll see what Neon feels like. Pretty sure he purposefully didn't reveal how many pills were left, so Ashe's could've been the first and last one, or there could be 1 more, 3 more, w/e. It can go too far as with everything else, so I doubt Neon will overdo it, but they make for.. 'fun' scenes imo where things can get.. 'creative', let's sayI'm literally pleased with whatever I get though as long as quality reasonably maintains
It's not about "overdoing" a story beat/lewd scene setup the issue is a "amount of work issue". If Guy uses it on 1 other person it goes from having 3 choices/paths (don't take, take but don't use, take and use) into 6 (don't take, take but didn't use on ashe, took and used on ashe, took and used on ashe but didn't use on the next person, took and used on ashe as well as the next person) some of them would just be small text tweaks but others would likely require "good Guy" scenes as an alternative (unless this game is suddenly going to get largely good/or Bad Guy focused updates instead of the balance we get now).
Edit: Mason (someone vulnerable from a story perspective) would make the problem even worse as you have all the previous choices and then variants for (no lewd before, lewd but "nice/friendly", lewd and rude)
Well, the pills were found far before we actually got a chance to use them on Ashe, so upcoming update isn't really a good indicator. So, like I said, I think it just comes down to whether Neon feels like doing it or not. I hope he does, as it's a different dark vibe compared to, for example, the alley scene. But if not, that's cool too; I enjoyed what I got when I got it
He can always just do something along the same line, i.e. too drunk. I'd be shocked if that wasn't planned for at least one of the younger LIs, Cassie, Gabby, Brit, etc.I agree that id be surprised if there wasn't a similar scene but I doubt it revolve around the pill bottle, i mean helll Guy is getting ready to potentially confront a drug dealer that seems like an easy opportunity to have him get as many drugs he wants for sexual assault

The non-dark path is written so well and is really sweet.
Don't think I'll be able to play the Dark Path again after playing the non-dark and my first playthrough was the Dark Path.

Honestly I hate corruption stuff almost as much as forced sex scenes and creepy mc's.
That's why I only play the love path.
Although if I remember correctly Neon said we might be able get Mason pregnant on the dark path so maybe I will have to do that eventually.

truthfully I only ever liked mild levels of corruption, like turning a shy or innocent LI into a girl that is a bit more open with their self sexually and not so shy or innocent anymore but not a total slut either.

I don't even like seeing mid corruption unless I'm playing some shitty porn game then I don't care.
If this didn't have a romance path with all the girls I wouldn't have even played the game.

o yeah if it's corruption without romance im out , to me there is no point in making a innocent or shy LI a bit more open unless you are going to actually romance her and have romantic moments, as well eventually have a ending where you Marry or have kids with said LI. Otherwise to me there is no point in it. Tho could be what I consider corruption isn't true corruption when it comes to these games either cause I don't think ive played any game that had a corruption focus besides having 1 LI be a bit more open with their self and less shy.

I don't really consider that to be corruption tbh.
All paths are fire to me, usually one side will be worse than the other due to devs just being better at writing for either romance or corruption. This guy is good at writing the sweet stuff, the lust stuff and the evil stuff. All entertaining and I look forward to seeing each route play out. Only game I genuinely look forward to updates for
