I really wish we could get a direct answer on this romance thing with Cassie from Neon, instead of some backwater Discord convo, that no one can seem to find. I just want more concrete info.

I just really want to romance her, she had so much build up, she was one of my most hyped characters, and is near near top of all the girls. But if she isn't romanceable, I can just skip her scenes then cause I would be disappointed seeing her on screen knowing we can't romance her.

While I understand the frustration, right now it's just a super bad idea for me to directly comment on any material that could offend our payment processor overlords.

I feel the same way. I honestly like this for characters that have a more fleshed out story path. I see Nicki and Ashe having lots of content on all their paths, but would be a shame to fully exclude them from updates. Even a small 10-20 render segment is nice to have. Same goes for secondary characters like Jun, Dash, Wren, Alex etc. they can add content without taking center stage. My opinion is that, it is only concerning if the added content takes tons of development and writing time to implement. I'm going to trust Neon's development, and continue to patiently wait for the focused Brittani, Viola, Pepper and Gabby episodes.

This is basically my plan. I've talked about this a little before, but my idea was always basically to make sure all the love interests had at least one really good, multi-position ero scene per path. But after that, I'm okay with using some storytelling shorthand to avoid getting too bogged down, with characters we've already seen. So, I tried to put this into practice with the new material in Chapters 2 and 3, with Ashe. Once you've already slept with her, and you're on her romance path, you just get little bits of her, showing her and Guy on a coffee date, sleeping together, and having that little BJ scene on the couch. I think that's enough to sketch out a relationship for people, and let them fill the details in themselves.

I've been likening it to how, in an erotic novel, the first scene is always like, a big deal. You get the full build-up, the description of clothes coming off, the full nitty-gritty of the first penetration, the emotion, etc. Then the next scene? You get a cold chapter open with the female protagonist bouncing up and down on the dude's cock, because why spend a lot of valuable page real estate, showing the whole dance leading up to it?

NeonGhosts I know it's really far out, but given any thought towards plans for another after you wrap this one up?

The idea for both of these would be to resolve them in five to six chapters, keeping the story tightly focused on a more limited cast and setting. Then I've got some non-AVN stuff that's in various stages of development. A trilogy of erotic fantasy novels, with the first one mostly finished. A graphic novel that's half-written. And a lot of unfinished drawings that I need to work on. :'D

There is no direct answer, because it hasn't been written yet. He hasn't made the decision yet, because he is still writing the story. But I would much rather he not do it, than do it badly.

Well I'd assume that, unless we're going to track down the dude, it will be Nicki's account anyway but with pictures. I mean I don't see this as an NTR type thing in any case. Guy and Nicki weren't together. If she was even partially accurate and he was just taking nudes, it would just be a slideshow of Nicki posing and getting more and more tattoos over time. I have no issue with looking at nude pics of Nicki but it seems like a waste for Neon to do a bunch of renders to tell us what we already know. There aren't really. At least not yet. There are a few actual prostitutes but no one who started out pure and innocent that is now a depraved nympho (not that that's what happened to Jun. Sadly we don't know how that relationship really started, or how 'pure and innocent' Jun was to begin with.)

Several. There is Indigo, in place of one of the Jun scenes, and then later on there is Dash, though that has yet to be reintegrated.

There is also a version of Ashe's route which has undertones of that sort.
